Donald Trump’s racist a$$ tweets appear to have fallen on the deaf ears, mute mouths, and cowardly hearts of the Republican party. This morning on The View, the entire panel, including habitual crybaby Meghan McCain, spent 9 minutes laying into 53% of white women’s president. In an effort to put a finer point on the topic, Whoopi Goldberg took a moment to SPECIFICALLY call out Black folks who have chosen to do the devil’s work as Republicans. Press play to hear what she had to say. A pox on all of their houses.
Source: Sara D. Davis / Getty Donald Trump Tells Progressive Democrat Congresswomen To “Go Back” To Their Country The day Trump is out of office will truly be THE DAY. Ya’ll raggedy a$$, racist a$$ president had the adolescent AUDACITY to come after Democrat congresswomen, specifically women of color who are pushing progressive politics. In a tweet, Donald Trump typed: “So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run.” He vomited some more: “Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!” So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly…… — Donald J. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 14, 2019 Trash. trash. trash. trash. TRAAAASH. Although the president didn’t mention anyone by name, it’s clear he was referring to a group of progressive congresswomen who are pushing the envelope in the Democratic party, including Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts. And surprise, surprise, all of these women were born in the United States with the exception of one. Tlaib, a Palestinian American, was born in Michigan; Ocasio-Cortez, who’s family is Puerto Rican, was born in New York; and Pressley, a Black woman, was born in Cincinnati. Omar is a Somali refugee who moved to the U.S. when she was 12 and she became a citizen in 2000. Meanwhile, ya’ll crusty Cheeto-In-Chief is spewing dangerous rhetoric that could literally put these women’s life at risk. Trash. A lot of these women clapped back at the president with Ocasio-Cortez tweeting, “the country I ‘come from,’ & the country we all swear to, is the United States.” Mr. President, the country I “come from,” & the country we all swear to, is the United States. But given how you’ve destroyed our border with inhumane camps, all at a benefit to you & the corps who profit off them, you are absolutely right about the corruption laid at your feet. https://t.co/HLKQCotR8T — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) July 14, 2019 She continued: “You are angry because you don’t believe in an America where I represent New York 14, where the good people of Minnesota elected @IlhanMN, where @RashidaTlaib fights for Michigan families, where @AyannaPressley champions little girls in Boston.” “You are angry because you can’t conceive of an America that includes us. You rely on a frightened America for your plunder.” You are angry because you don’t believe in an America where I represent New York 14, where the good people of Minnesota elected @IlhanMN , where @RashidaTlaib fights for Michigan families, where @AyannaPressley champions little girls in Boston. /2 — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) July 14, 2019 You are angry because you can’t conceive of an America that includes us. Yet here we are. — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) July 14, 2019 Meanwhile, Ilhan Omar tweeted: “Mr. President, As Members of Congress, the only country we swear an oath to is the United States. Which is why we are fighting to protect it from the worst, most corrupt and inept president we have ever seen.” Mr. President, As Members of Congress, the only country we swear an oath to is the United States. Sarah Jessica Parker revealed recently that she was harassed by a “very, very big movie star” during a discussion of the #MeToo movement on an episode of NPR’s Fresh Air . The actress did not name who the person was or give away the project, but she wanted to make it clear that industry problems with harassment exist on all levels. She admitted that recent events forced her to reevaluate the way she had been treated throughout her career. “It really wasn’t, I would say, until about six or eight months ago that I started recognizing countless experiences of men behaving poorly, inappropriately, and all the ways that I had made it possible to keep coming to work or to remain on set, or to simply … just push it down, push it away, find a little space for it and move on,” she told host Terry Gross. The Sex and the City star also noted that a perceived power imbalance between herself and the unnamed star kept her quiet about his harassment for a really long time. Luckily, she eventually decided that she had enough and explained the situation to her agent. Her agent ended up threatening the right people, saying that Parker would walk if the harassment continued, and that’s when the environment changed immediately. “I didn’t have to listen to jokes about me or my figure or what people thought they could talk me into doing,” she said. “That stopped.” Sarah Jessica Parker also admitted that it can be difficult, even for a star of her caliber, to come forward. “I didn’t feel as powerful as the man who was behaving inappropriately, which … strikes me as just stunning to say out loud because there were plenty of occasions where it was happening and I was in a different position and I was as powerful.”
Source: Sutad Watthanakul / EyeEm / Getty Victim’s Sons Beat Up Convicted Killer A video’s gone viral of two sons beating up the man who killed their mother. On Thursday the sentencing hearing for a man convicted of killing an Ohio woman erupted in chaos when the victim’s two sons attacked the handcuffed defendant, Dale Williams, inside the courtroom. Williams, 62, was on hand for sentencing for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Pledger Stewart, 46. While Pledger Stewart’s daughter was giving her victim impact statement, however, the woman’s two sons attacked the convicted killer. Both men managed to get to Williams and punched him before being detained. “He killed my mother, man,” said one of the sons. “That was my mama! She took care of me, bro, when nobody else did.” WKBN reports that Williams admitted to killing Pledger Stewart after waiting for her for more than 45 minutes for her to drive by him on her way to work so he could cut her off and shoot her. Both sons will spend 30 days in jail for contempt of court. Seems like it was worth it to us.
Source: Chicago Tribune / Getty R. Kelly’s Inner Circle Were The Ones Responsible For Him Reportedly Facing Federal Charges According to TMZ , R. Kelly investigators now have over 20 tapes of the singer having sex with minors in their possession, and it was his own inner circle who handed them over to the authorities. Gerald Griggs, the attorney who is representing the family of Jocelyn Savage, reportedly stated that the tapes show multiple victims of sexual abuse and that many of them were confirmed to be underage at the time of the filming. R. Kelly was arrested earlier this week on 13 counts of federal sex crimes, including four counts of producing and two counts of receiving child pornography. Kelly is also facing other counts for racketeering, violation of the Mann Act, and obstruction of justice. Kelly is also facing 11 other sex abuse charges in Cook County relating to his alleged abuse of Jerhonda Pace. It might be over with for R. Kelly.

Tanisha Foster filed a motion in the guardianship case of her daughter, Emani Asghedom. She disputing the joint guardianship petition filed by Nipsey’s immediate family. “I strongly oppose both of the petitions filed by Samantha Alexandria Smith, Samiel Asghedom and Angelique Smith,” Foster says. “I am the other of Emani Asghedom and there is no good reason my rights as her mother should be taken away from me, or otherwise reduced as her mother.” Foster claims she and Nipsey “always shared the responsibility of parenting Emani.” Since his murder, she has “had to depend on the goodwill of family and friends for my food, clothing, shelter and transportation. Ermias had always provided for these needs up until his date of death.” She says the Nip “also gave me substantial sums of cash that I used for the benefit of Emani and myself.” But all that has since been cut off after his passing and his family has decided to cut ties with Foster in every aspect.

Source: Steve Granitz / Getty How To Get Away With Murder Will End With Its Sixth Season The messy life of law professor Annalise Keating will finally wrap up with the last season of How To Get Away With Murder airing this year. HTGAWM made it’s debut in 2014 with Viola Davis playing an antihero who gets mixed up in murder, secrets and complicated relationships with her law students. The role acted as a boost to Davis’ career, making her the first woman of color to win the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2015. In a statement to Shadow & Act , ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke explained: “Viola Davis made television history with her unforgettable portrayal of iconic female antihero Annalise Keating. I am eternally grateful to her, Pete Nowalk and Shondaland for creating and bringing to life such a smart, sophisticated and groundbreaking series that has long been an integral part of Thursday nights on ABC.” The creator of the series, Pete Nowalk, said: “Deciding to end this series was a brutal decision, but ultimately the story tells you what to do – as it did here. For me, Annalise Keating’s journey has always had a clear ending. Knowing I have 15 episodes left to finish her story, and the chance to give all the characters their own killer endings, is a gift rarely given to a series creator and I’m grateful to ABC and ABC Studios for the opportunity and creative freedom. I am so thankful to the brilliant cast, writers and crew for dedicating themselves to the most rewarding experience of my career over the last six years. I also want to thank our fans. The only reason this show exists is because of your loyalty and enthusiasm. I can’t wait for you all to see how it ends, with twists and turns and all the craziness we love to create every Thursday night. Buckle up.” ABC said the final season will “follows Professor Annalise Keating’s (Viola Davis) class through their final semester in law school – while the deception, fear and guilt binding Professor Keating to her students prove deadlier than ever.” Scandalous. Get ready for the sixth season premiere on September 26!
