Source: Mihajlo Maricic / EyeEm / Getty Tyrese West Killed By Wisconsin Police We can’t even ride our bikes in peace SMH. 18-year old Tyrese West has been pronounced dead after being shot by a Mount Pleasant on June 15th. According to Racine Police , officers attempted to make contact with West who was on a bike but he fled. Following a short foot pursuit, the officer observed West was armed. 18-year-old #TyreseWest was the man shot and killed early Saturday morning by Mt. Pleasant police. Today, I went with West’s family back to the shooting scene — they have one burning question. Eric Giese, a 12-year veteran of the village’s Police Department. Giese has been a sergeant for a year and a half. He was placed on administrative leave immediately following the incident. On Thursday night, hundreds of people gathered at the corner of Racine and 20th streets to remember Tyrese . Community advocate Tory Lowe gave an emotional speech to the crowd, saying: “We want justice for Tyrese. We want answers, and the only way we’re going to get the answers is if we demand the answers. Tyrese was stopped for riding a bike,” Lowe said. “And he ended up with two shots in his head. How do we know that he got two shots in his head? Because the body was released to the family. This wasn’t told to us. We saw it.” Racine Police is still investigating the case. SMH

So Sad: Texas Mother Charged With Killing Her Toddler With Her SUV After Playing A Game Of “Chicken”

Source: CHRISsadowski / Getty Texas Mother Locked Up For Killing 3-Year-Old Son In A Game Of “Chicken” According to NY Daily News , a Texas mom allegedly played a game of chicken with her three kids and accidentally ran over & killed her 3-year-old son. Lexus Stagg was charged with criminally negligent homicide after her “3-year-old child ran behind her vehicle as she backed out of her parking spot,” on June 11th. Surveillance video from a nearby apartment complex allegedly shows Stagg getting into her SUV before driving in reverse. As her three kids began running after her, she slowly drove the SUV forward. While two kids evaded the vehicle, the 3-year-old got stuck beneath a tire. A neighbor of Stagg, expressed his grief over the death of the little boy, but made it clear that Stagg was not a great mother. The neighbor recalls: “I felt bad because those parents, they were never there, they were kind of negligent..The kids were always out here without supervision.” Two of Stagg’s older children have been placed with relatives while Stagg was arrested and faces a prison term of up to 10 years, if found guilty.

WTF: Man Who Founded ‘Biblical Flat Earth Society’ Faces 56 Counts Of Sexual Exploitation Of A Minor

Source: gchutka / Getty Church Founder Charged With Several Counts Of Sexual Exploitation Of Minor Durham, North Carolina resident Phillip Stephen Stallings is facing several charges of sexually exploiting minors after he reportedly downloaded media that involved minors engaging in sexual activities. The self-proclaimed founder of the “Biblical Flat Earth Society” was arrested this week and charged with 56 counts of child sexual exploitation. According to ABC 11 News , Stallings was hit with 28 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 28 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was also served with outstanding warrants for financial card theft and cyberstalking. Raw Story reports: Stallings’s personal website promotes his belief that the Earth is flat and cites biblical justifications for this provably false belief. Stallings believes that there is a conspiracy among the so-called Illuminati to “cover up the flat Earth” that is “certainly connected to sun worship which goes all the way back to Nimrod and the tower of Babel. The fundamentalist christian’s secured bond has been raised to $500,000. Sick! SMH.

According to NPR , he told donors at a fundraiser in NY Tuesday night: “I was in a caucus with James O. Eastland,” Biden said, according to a pool report. “He never called me ‘boy’; he always called me ‘son.’ ” “Well, guess what? At least there was some civility,” Biden said, also pointing to a working relationship he forged with Georgia Sen. Herman Talmadge, another segregationist Democrat. “We got things done. We didn’t agree on much of anything. We got things done. We got it finished. But today, you look at the other side and you’re the enemy. Not the opposition, the enemy. We don’t talk to each other anymore.” Is dude serious?? New Jersey senator Cory Booker wasted no time responding… “You don’t joke about calling black men ‘boys,’ ” New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, one of three black Democratic candidates for president, said in a statement Wednesday. “Vice President Biden’s relationships with proud segregationists are not the model for how we make America a safer and more inclusive place for black people, and for everyone. I have to tell Vice President Biden, as someone I respect, that he is wrong for using his relationships with Eastland and Talmadge as examples of how to bring our country together.” California senator Kamala Harris agreed that what Biden said was absolutely wrong… California Sen. Kamala Harris told reporters at the Capitol, “I have a great deal of respect for Vice President Biden. He’s done very good work, and he has served our country in a very noble way. But to coddle the reputations of segregationists, of people who if they had their way I would literally not be standing here as a member of the United States Senate, is, I think, it’s just misinformed and it’s wrong.” Harris declined to say whether Biden should apologize for the comments. As for Uncle Joe himself, he’s saying that Cory should apologize to him. “There’s not a racist bone in my body,” said Biden.
