New Information Revealed About Chris Rock’s “Adopted” African Daughter More information has been revealed in the suspicous case of Chris Rock’s “adopted” African daughter Ntombi . According to TMZ , the biological father of the child is refusing to speak on the circumstances surrounding how she ended up becoming part of the Rock family. The father, Crispen Khanyile, and the mother, Precious Ndebele, brought Ntombi into this world on February 23, 2008 while they were both living in squalor near Johannesburg. An independent reports states that they had 2 other children and their day-to-day life was described as “not conducive for human living.” When asked about how much they were paid for Ntombi, Crispen basically told TMZ that they need to holla at Chris’ estranged wife, Malaak, if they wanna know all that. Malaak’s lawyer has confessed that she is in the process of trying to legally adopt Ntombi, but didn’t explain exactly why she never tried to make it official all these years. Sources say Chris Rock is refusing to have contact with the child because he’s convinced that Malaak did something illegal to get her here in the first place. Ntombi came to the U.S. on a visitor’s visa, and was supposed to return to Africa yearly…she has not gone back once in 7 years. Image via WENN

Chicago Police Release Footage Of Laquan McDonald Shooting Well, the Chicago Police Department said that the video footage would be made public today , and they delivered right on schedule. The officer who shot Laquan McDonald 16 times, resulting in the 17-year-old’s death, is currently facing first degree murder charges . After looking at this heartbreaking video, we can certainly see why. We are honestly exhausted of seeing and sharing footage like this. SMH. Unsurprisingly, the video footage has caused renewed outrage, and protesters are currently taking to the streets of Chicago to protest and voice their outrage over this senseless police killing. Via CNN : Protesters took to the streets of Chicago late Tuesday after police released a graphic dash-cam video showing an officer shooting 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. McDonald was killed in October 2014. The city’s mayor has called for peace. “I believe this is a moment that can build bridges of understanding rather than become a barrier of misunderstanding. I understand that the people will be upset and will want to protest when they see this video,” Mayor Rahm Emanuel said. “We as a city must rise to this moment.” Chicago has been preparing for protests in advance of the video’s release, which was ordered by a judge to happen no later than Wednesday. Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy acknowledged that residents “have a right to be angry.” Soon after the video’s release, a group of protesters began marching, chanting “16 shots” and “We got to fight back!” McDonald died after being shot 16 times. “People have a right to be angry, people have a right to protest, people have a right to free speech,” McCarthy said. “But they do not have a right to commit criminal acts.” Of course not. Police Chief Thomas Burke Caught Using N-Word In Book Drive Email Police Chief Thomas Burke was sworn into office on Monday to ensure the safety of the residents of Farrell, Pennsylvania. Only problem is, he just got caught sending an n-word laden email to his colleagues asking them to donate money to a local book drive. According to WICU , Councilwoman Stephanie Sheffield ain’t with it. Not even a lil’ bit: “I spoke with him this morning, and I immediately said dismissal,” Councilwoman Sheffield adds. “[Burke] came and knocked on my door this morning with an apology letter and how he is very familiar with our community and our area. [Burke said] he does use the ‘N’ Word very often because that’s the way it is in our area. White Supremacists Shoot #BlackLivesMatter Protesters In Minneapolis The protests sprung by the death of Jamar Clark have turned violent — not because of the peaceful protesters, but because of the racists that hate the fact that people care about the senseless death of a Black man at the hands of police. Some white men in bulletproof vests were spotted opening fire on the protesters, and wounded five people in the process. Via MailOnline : Five people have been shot near the site of an ongoing protest over the fatal shooting of a black man by a police officer, a Minneapolis Police Department spokesman said. Jamar Clark, 24, was shot in the head by police on November 15 while allegedly wearing handcuffs, according to witnesses. The five people shot just before midnight on Monday all have non-threatening injuries, according to Minneapolis Police Department spokesman John Elder. The shootings occurred near an alley about a block away from the 4th Precinct station, where protesters have been conducting a sit-in since Clark was shot. Protesters who witnessed the violence claim the shooters were white supremacists. Dana Jaehnert said one of the men had been wearing a mask and one was shouting ‘the “n” word’, she told The Star Tribune. Black Lives Matter spokesperson Miski Noor said they opened fire on the group when a dozen protesters attempted to herd them away from the area. Jaehnert said that’s when she heard four gunshots. The attackers then fled. A police source told KTSP that the suspects are believed to be white males wearing bulletproof vests. SMH! These protesters can’t even peacefully air their grievances over the death of an unarmed, handcuffed Black man without racists coming to shoot them down. SMH.

Ahmed Mohamed Demands $15 Million From Texas School District An attorney for the family of Muslim teen clockmaker Ahmed Mohamed is demanding $15 million from Texas school district, along with an apology for how Mohamed was treated when he brought his homemade clock to school according to TIME reports… Mohamed is the 14-year-old Texas ninth-grader-turned-celebrity who was arrested at school after a homemade clock he brought in was mistaken for a bomb. He has since been honored everywhere from Google to the White House. Mohamed’s attorney sent letters to the City of Irving and the Irving Independent School District adding new details and accusations to the story, with the family alleging that authorities “sought to cover its mistakes with a media campaign that further alienated the child at the center of this maelstrom,” the Dallas Morning News reports. The Mohamed’s are asking for $15 million in damages, as well as apologies from key players—the school district, MayorVan Duyne and Police Chief Larry Boyd, alleging “They stoked the flames. They tried to push responsibility off on the victim—Ahmed.” Lesley Weaver, spokeswoman for the Irving school district, said in a statement Monday that the school district’s attorneys “will review the information and respond as appropriate, as with any legal matter,” reports the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram. Attorneys for the family said they would give the school district and the city 60 days to comply before filing a civil lawsuit.
