The bullying has got to stop… Alberta Mother Of 5 Writes Open Letter To Bullies Who Mocked Her Stretch Marks On Beach A mother of five from Alberta, Canada has been embraced by people across the globe after turning to Facebook to vent about her horrifying experience at the beach. Check out her open letter below: “This is an open letter to the 2 guys and 1 girl who decided to skip work today in Sherwood Park where they were building a house, but instead decided to come to Alberta Beach to relax in the sun, enjoy the water and some beers. I’m sorry if my first attempt at sun tanning in a bikini in public in 13 years “grossed you out”. I’m sorry that my stomach isn’t flat and tight. I’m sorry that my belly is covered in stretch marks. I’m NOT sorry that my body has housed, grown, protected, birthed and nurtured FIVE fabulous, healthy, intelligent and wonderful human beings. I’m sorry if my 33 year old, 125 lb body offended you so much that you felt that pointing, laughing, and pretending to kick me. But I’ll have you know that as I looked at your ‘perfect’ young bodies, I could only think to myself “what great and amazing feat has YOUR body done?”. I’ll also have you know that I held my head high, unflinching as you mocked me, pretending that what you said and did had no effect on me; but I cried in the car on the drive home. Thanks for ruining my day. It’s people like you who make this world an ugly hateful place. I can’t help but feel sorry for the women who will one day bear your children and become “gross” in your eyes as their bodies change during the miraculous process of pregnancy. SMH Florida Boy Charged With Murder Of Homeless Man Via NYDailyNews A 12-year-old boy was collared for fatally shooting a homeless man in the head more than a month after the victim was found dead on a Florida street, police said. The boy — identified by WAWS-TV as Sharron Townsend — was collared Thursday for the murder of Thomas Trent, 54, after police identified the gunman in footage from a security camera near the June 28 shooting, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Assistant Chief Chris Butler said. “It’s a horrific event,” Butler told reporters. “Horrific for the victim…but also you’re talking about a 12-year-old child.” Trent’s body was found lying outside an abandoned restaurant in the city’s west side. Investigators found a surveillance camera a short time later between a dental care office and a tattoo parlor that recorded two young men walking near the site where Trent was killed. A few minutes later, the footage shows the two suspects running “with their shorts on their heads” towards the back of a strip-mall where Trent was shot, according to an arrest report. Police managed to identify the other boy in the video as a 16-year-old who was being held in jail on an unrelated charge. Apparently the 16-year-old dropped dime on the young bol. The teen was not considered a suspect, but Butler did not elaborate. He said the younger boy was charged after he admitted to being in the surveillance clip. “The suspect gave admissions, and he identified himself in the video and being present and involved in the murder,” Butler said. Police were still trying to determine why Trent was shot. “Thomas had a heart of gold,” his sister, Dawn McNabb, told the local Fox affiliate. “Yeah, he was homeless. Yeah, he had a problem drinking, but that didn’t make a reason for him to be killed. That didn’t make a reason for him to be a target.” By no means should this kid be allowed to be tried as a minor. It’s no longer “all gold everything…” SMH. Trinidad Jame$ Dropped From Def Jam Trinidad Jame$ had a hot moment in late 2012 and early 2013…but the shine from all his gold dulled ever since the release of his first EP, Don’t Be S.A.F.E. Without another smash having hit airwaves since the success of his chant-heavy hit “All Gold Everything,” Trinidad revealed that his label has decided to drop him, and he is now penniless and unable to pay producers and beatmakers who worked on his latest project. Black Unemployment Rate Remains Above 11 Percent Although the unemployment rate is reported to be steadily decreasing overall throughout the U.S., it still remains in the double-digits within the black community. via News One The overall unemployment rate ticked up to 6.2 percent in July from 6.1 percent. The unemployment rate for African-Americans remains in double digit figures, rising to 11.4 percent. During the six straight months that have topped 200,000 job gains, more people have looked for work. In July, an additional 329,000 began looking, yet only 131,000 jobs were added, according to the Labor Department’s survey of households. A consequence of the influx of job-seekers last month is that the unemployment rate rose for women, African-Americans, high school graduates and people with some college experience. But the overall trend for the past 12 months is clear: The unemployment rate is steadily dropping for almost everyone. Hopefully the overall unemployment rate will continue to decrease and these effects will have a positive impact on the numbers in the black community.

Fix it Jesus !! Man Steals Grandma’s Car From Church Lot For Drugs A New Jersey man has been arrested in connection with the theft of his grandmother’s car from a church parking lot. Arthur J. Garlick, 22, of Wyckoff was charged with stealing a 1999 Lincoln Town Car from the Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church on June 3. Via New York CBS reports: Garlick’s grandmother was inside the church as a poll worker on election day, police said. The car was found a week later in Paterson and another man was arrested for having the stolen car, police said. Wyckoff police were lead to Garlick after interviewing the man in jail, police said. Garlick admitted to police that he stole the car from the church lot and sold it in Paterson for $200 and $150 worth of heroin, police said. Garlick lives with his grandmother. Police said he got an extra set of her keys and stole the car knowing that she was inside of the church for the day. “This crime highlights the ever growing heroin addiction problem recently called an “absolute epidemic” by the Bergen County Prosecutor, said Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin Fox. “Sadly, persons addicted will let nothing stand in their way to obtain heroin; even thefts from family members,” said Fox. Garlick was charged with auto theft of the third degree and released on his own recognizance. SMH!!!!!
