Dozens of people including Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin were indicted today by federal prosecutors in connection with a scheme aimed at getting students into elite colleges. The L.A. Times reports that the scheme centered around the owner of a for-profit Newport Beach college admissions company that wealthy parents paid to help their children cheat on college entrance exams and falsify athletic records of students to enable them to secure admission to schools including UCLA, USC, Stanford, Yale, and Georgetown, according to court records. The for-profit owner is William Rick Singer of the Edge College & Career Network who’s now charged with money laundering, obstruction of justice, racketeering and conspiracy to defraud the United States. He pleaded guilty in Boston this afternoon and is facing 65 years in prison. “All of these things, and many more things, I did,” Singer said. “I created a side door that would guarantee families would get in.” Lori Loughlin and her husband allegedly “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team” in order to facilitate admission to the university, adds The Times. Mind you Loughlin’s daughters did NOT play crew and allegedly fake photos of the girls on row machines were used as part of the scheme. So far Loughlin has not been arrested but her reps say she’s on a flight to Los Angeles and expected to surrender. Macy, prosecutors allege that they made a charitable contribution of $15,000 to participate in a college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of their eldest daughter. Their daughter was reportedly given twice the amount of time to take the SAT as other students and the paid proctor agreed to secretly correct her answers afterward. A sealed indictment claims that the girl received a score of 1420 on her SAT, an improvement of 400 points from her PSAT. Huffman is currently in police custody. According to TMZ , the Nigerian brothers, Ola and Abel Osundairo, have now confirmed that the $3,500 check that Jussie wrote to them was indeed for “training and nutrition”. During their self-aggrandizing press conference, Superintendent Eddie Johnson made a big deal of the “fact” that Jussie wrote the check specifically for the staged hate crime. The bros appear to be siding with Jussie on this particular aspect and that leaves a lot of room to speculate about what else CPD has fudged in their 16 count indictment against the Empire actor. So, did the cops blatantly lie? Are the bros now covering for Jussie? Why did they take so long to address this? WHAT THE HELL IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING HERE?!?! Guess we’ll find out next time on Jussieball-Z.

The Ladies Discuss NeNe’s Closet On The RHOA Aftershow Another day, another bit of drama surrounding that closet calamity . After NeNe went OFF about Porsha and Kandi exploring her closet and (possibly) put her hands on Porsha seemingly snatching her belt , the ladies of RHOA reacted to the scandal. According to NeNe, she was flummoxed that women she invited into her home for her “Bye Wig” party had the audacity to invade her personal space. “I changed and didn’t even realize I changed,” said NeNe. I went ape on they a**, I was just so irritated that these girls would come to somebody would come to someone’s house and start opening up their drawers. Kandi, however, had no idea it was even that serious but she’s remorseful. “I got the fact that she thought it was off limits but I think she was moreso upset about the cameraman who followed us into the closet,” said Kandi. After we came out the closet I was like ‘Okay I’m getting the hell up outta here.’ NeNe comes rushing down the steps and I’m just trying to keep things calm, I felt bad that I was part of the trigger.” This is FOR SURE going to be a hot topic of discussion at the reunion. Kelly was released from jail this weekend after some heada$$ enabler paid the $160,000 child support that was in arrears. Today, we find out why Robert was so far behind despite the claiming to Gayle King that he wanted a relationship with his children. According to TMZ , sources close to Robert say that he stopped paying child support to spite his ex-wife Drea Kelly. The singer believes Drea “brainwashed” the kids and turned him against him. Which, ironically, is the exact same thing that the parents of his *alleged* victims have said about him. This withholding of money just goes to show how stupid Robert really is. Taking away the money your children need to live in order to punish your ex-wife makes no sense whatsoever. Kelly “scraped together” the cash to get out of jail thanks to an unknown “benefactor”. He had been paying $20,833 since January 2009 but fell off the wagon HARD last year. Drea and Robert have conflicting stories about why he doesn’t have a relationship with his children, both blaming each other for changing their phone numbers. Drea says she’s down to allow Robert to see the kids but she hasn’t heard from him since 2017 after she went public about his abuse of her. Robert’s life is an absolute f**king mess. Just put him in prison already.

Now, the rapper is explaining why her hands were tied in canceling two shows on her Nicki Wrld Tour . Minaj posted a video to her Instagram on Sunday morning (March 10) after canceling her Bordeaux, France show at Arkea Arena the night before. This comes just a few weeks after the star canceled her Bratislava, Slovakia show at Ondrej Nepela Arena on February 22. “You guys, it’s not in my best interest not to perform and lose money and aggravate my fans. I love performing for my fans,” she explained following the announcement. “I’m more excited than you are before the show. These two cities that had technical issues were cities I’d never been to before. We tried to add them, but they just didn’t have the power in the building to facilitate my show and they didn’t tell us that until three hours before the show as opposed to once we did sound check, they said that it was fine,” she continued. “But anyway. Every artist, every artist, has technical difficulties and has to cancel shows. Source: Jeff Hahne / Getty J. Cole And Bryson Tiller Sued By Producer G-Money J. Cole and Bryson Tiller are both have an infringement lawsuit on their hands. According to reports from The Blast , these two have been accused of stealing an instrumental created by a producer named G-Money. He claims that Cole and Tiller ripped off his 2013 record “Shawty So Cold” for their respective cuts of their songs “Déjà Vu” and “Exchange.” G-Money—whose legal name is Gary Frisby—made these same accusations several years ago when he uploaded a 2017 YouTube video in 2017, explaining the similarities between the records mentioned above. G-Money’s suit states Cole and Tiller’s songs feature “the same kick pattern, snare pattern, FX swell, and vocal strike.” and that “the substantial similarities between the three songs are of no coincidence.” Cole’s song “DejàVu” appeared on his 2016 album 4 Your Eyez Only, while Tiller’s “Exchange” was featured on his 2015 debut studio album Trapsoul . The producer is seeking now $150,000 per infringement, as well as an injunction that would prevent Cole and Tiller from continuing to profit off his material. Sony, RCA Records, and Roc Nation are all listed as co-defendants. The drama between the origins of these particular songs is nothing new. The producers of “Déjà Vu” and “Exchange” have also accused each other of stealing this particular beat in the past. Back in 2016, Vinylz and Boi-1da (the ones who produced “Déjà Vu”) accused Foreign Teck of ripping them off when he created “Exchange”–even though Tiller’s track was released months before Cole’s record.
