Source: RADOSLAW KOLESNIK / Getty Five Teenagers Were Killed In An Escape Room After A Fire Erupted Five teenage girls were killed–and one man was injured–in a fire that broke out in an “escape room” venue in northern Poland, according to authorities on Saturday. The 15-year-old girls were said to be celebrating one of their birthdays in the town of Koszalin when the fire encircled the venue at around 5 PM. Local firefighters revealed that the incident was likely the result of faulty electrical wiring in addition to a lack of proper security. Poland’s firefighting chief, Leszek Suski, explained that the wiring was in dangerously close proximity to flammable materials saying, “Security was not ensured and that led to the tragedy.” Interior Minister Joachim Brudzinski has reportedly issued fire safety tests at other similar venues following this tragic incident. The president also shared his condolences on Saturday, calling the incident a “crushing tragedy.” The girls’ bodies were reportedly found once local firefighters had extinguished the blaze. In addition to the death of these girls, an injured 25-year-old man was taken to the hospital for severe burns following the incident. If you aren’t already familiar with escape rooms, this probably isn’t the best time to tell you to go. Escape rooms have become increasingly popular around the world after first originating in Japan. The experience is an in-person simulated adventure where players are made to feel endangered, as if they’re trapped. Participants are typically locked inside a room and asked to complete puzzles and different intricate tasks under pressures to exit. There are said to be over 1,000 similar venues across Poland.

The embattled “Extra” host was previously accused of sexual assault by activist Sil Lai Abrams who The Hollywood Reporter that she struggled with Calloway in a car for six minutes as he exposed himself and begged her to “touch it.” She finally gave in and Abrams said Calloway ejaculated in her hand. Calloway previously released a statement to The Hollywood Reporter saying; “I was disappointed to read the false allegations about me in The Hollywood Reporter. As I have maintained from the beginning, these allegations are not true.” Now two more women have come forward, both of which who wish to remain anonymous. One detailed a story to The Daily Beast claiming that after a party at Calloway’s house they began kissing on a couch but she told him “no” when he tried to lift her skirt. The woman says Calloway “thought it was a game” and continued to try to have sex with her for 40 minutes straight. She tells The Daily Beast: “He really was going for my skirt, and I was literally pulling my skirt down because I was not going to allow him to go any further. And he thought it was a game or something because he kept laughing and giggling and I’m like, no, stop, stop. And the more I said stop the more he got aggressive, and that’s when I started to realize, oh my god, this is serious. Like, he’s really going to try and force me to have sex with him.” “And I just remember him pulling his penis out and he began stroking himself and he kept trying to put my hand on his penis and eventually he ejaculated on my hands.” She never opened up about the incident until now because she said she didn’t think people would believe her. “I thought it’s just one of those situations that happen and you just have to move forward with your life.” Calloway is denying “any claims that he assaulted someone” via a lawyer. Source: Rita Maas / Getty The Government Shutdown Could Keep You From Getting A Tax Refund If you thought the government shutdown wouldn’t affect your daily life, it might be time to think again. As the partial shutdown approaches its two-week point, concerns are growing that a heavily impacted IRS will delay taxpayers’ getting their refunds . The agency has categorized issuing tax refunds as a “non-excepted” activity — meaning that those tasked with processing refunds would be furloughed during their shutdown. Meanwhile, several types of tax return processing were deemed “Necessary for the Safety of Human Life or Protection of Government Property.” That’s according to a December shutdown plan, which lays out the first five business days of the agency’s response during a shutdown occurring outside of tax season. While the document notes the plan can be reassessed and furloughed employees can be recalled, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that the IRS generally does not issue refunds during a shutdown. The IRS plan says that only 12.5 percent of the IRS workforce is authorized to work during a shutdown, while the rest of the agency faces furloughs. That plan could be revised as soon as Friday, as the agency shifts into tax season, which typically starts in mid-January. Budget negotiations to reopen the government have stalled over President Donald Trump’s demand for funding a border wall, which means the risk is growing that tax refunds could be delayed if these aforementioned IRS workers don’t return to work soon.

But what they didn’t know is that Savoie had many more tricks up his sleeve — well, his buttocks. According to reports , Savoie was undergoing a strip search during his processing into the Lafourche Parish sub-station when deputies found a small gun concealed in his buttocks. “Golden Meadow Chief of Police Reggie Pitre said officers arrested Justin Savoie of Galliano on Dec. 28 after noticing suspicious activity at a N. Bayou Drive residence. Officers made contact with Savoie and a second suspect, Lori Dupuy. During the encounter, Dupuy gave a false name to officers and later fled the scene. According to a KWCH report, a former rising fashion model named Riff Trace was arrested for possession of meth just days after he was arrested and charged with “battery that was bias and racially motivated” after kicking a Black 1-year-old boy in the back violently during a racist rant at a local grocery store. How Riff is still drawing breath and walking the earth after putting his dirty alabaster feet onto a Black infant while calling him n-words is inexplicable, but we digress. The boy’s mother, Lashantai Whitaker, explains what happened: “We were barely in the store and (Trace) kicked him in his back,” Whitaker says. “All I heard was a loud thud and my daughter screaming.” She says Trace tried to get away but another customer tackled him. She says when Trace kicked her son, he came up behind them. Journalist Briana Whitney shared the exclusive story via Twitter . After being in a vegetative state for over 14 years, a patient shockingly gave birth on Saturday. An employee says the woman was moaning and that alarmed nurses. She then gave birth to a baby girl. The staff was reportedly not aware that she was pregnant until that moment she gave birth. The baby is alive and healthy. After hearing the allegations, Arizona Adult Protective Service performed health and safety checks on all residents in the facility. Protocols have changed to female residents being paired with female nurses early. The investigation into the unnamed woman’s rape is still being investigated. Press play to hear the full report. Previously, Lily — who is of Mexican descent — was called out by upset fans for her excessive use of the word “ni**a.” Folks watching felt uncomfortable after Lily exploded and used the word to demean people from the cast. The majority of the cast members are Black and apparently, they feel uncomfortable around her too. Lily only seems to use the word in a degrading way when she’s fighting or arguing. Welp, an unaired clip of Lily arguing with cast member Jenn has surfaced where she called them all “weak a$$ ni**as”. Under the photo, Kim Osorio — a show producer who is Puerto Rican, Asian and Black — is seen joking with a friend in the comments and Charmaine lost it: “Worried about the wrong things Kim! How about the fact that this girl stays calling us ni**gas n thinks it’s ok because her little Hispanic friends do it too?” In response, Kim snapped back at Charmaine saying that the clip was not from the show, rather from “behind the scenes”, excusing Lily. She then invited Charmaine and the crew to talk to Lily about it on camera, where they could “finally film a conversation for once.” Charmaine didn’t respond. She just tagged VH1 in her own post, asking folks online to help defend the Black cast against Lily’s language, since no producer is in their corner. “My cast has already expressed multiple times our concerns about this.
