Getty Images Black Ink Crew’s Phor Arrested In Indiana Phor , one of the stars of VH1’s Black Ink Crew: Chicago , got cuffed right along with his whole crew last week. The incident happened after a police officer pulled them over because clouds of smoke were visibly billowing out of the group’s limo van. According to reports from TMZ , the tattoo artist was arrested in Gary, Indiana along with 6 friends, and is now facing criminal weed charges. According to the police report, an officer pulled over Phor’s Mercedes limo after he both heard loud music and smelled pot. Apparently, the driver told the cop they were heading to a club in Gary–which is only about 25 miles from Chicago–and tried to get the officer’s sympathy by saying, “Look bro, I have a celebrity in the back.” Um, tread lightly there, Mr. driver… Unfortunately for Phor and his crew, the cop didn’t care about his reality celebrity-dom. On top of that, the driver allegedly didn’t have ID or registration for the vehicle, and because it stunk like weed, they were all taken into custody for weed-related offenses.
Paras Griffin/WireImage Jill Scott Sued By A Writer Over Allegedly Stealing His Idea Jill Scott has gotten herself into some more trouble this weekend. Mann Frisby, a former writer for the Daily News and Inquisitor , is suing the singer for allegedly stealing an idea he had to make greeting cards. Frisby is claiming that he and Scott were good friends, and that he pitched her the idea of using her song lyrics in greeting cards for Hallmark ten years ago. According to a lawsuit that he filed on Thursday in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court, the man says that they mutually agreed to a 50-50 profit split if he was able to secure a deal with the greeting card company. And now, fast forward a decade, Scott announced at the beginning of last year that she was coming out with her own Hallmark greeting card line, which would feature lyrics from twenty of her songs. According to the Associated Press , Scott said that she got the idea from Maya Angelou, and she was following her footsteps by “create[ing] cards I felt represented things a sista would say.” In August, eight months after the launch of the cards, Frisby discovered Scott “had concealed her actions” and had thus proceeded without him, according to his lawsuit. Frisby is claiming that Scott breached her oral agreement with him by “falsely stating” she was putting the deal on hold, and securing the Hallmark deal without telling him. The writer is demanding 50 percent of Scott’s greeting-card profits along with more than $50,000 in damages. A Philly School Is Paying Students To Not Fight A school in Philadelphia, is trying an unorthodox method to stop its students from fighting. Mitchell Elementary principal Stephanie Andrewlevich has decided that she will give her students a crisp $100 bill at graduation if they go the whole year without getting into any physical fights. The principal says the incentive is working and has overseen “significant gains” at the school during her tenure. So far this year, only 8 percent of the eighth-graders have been suspended. That’s down from 17 percent at the same point last year, and down 21 percent from 2016.

As previously reported Tommie Lee allegedly slapped and punched an Atlanta jewelry store employee who questioned her piss poor attitude. The jewelry store associate also claimed that Tommie and her associate, an unnamed man, had previously tried to steal items from the business before. Now TMZ reports that Tommie turned herself in for a misdemeanor battery charge related to the case and was later released. Tommie turned herself in late Tuesday night and spent a single night behind bars. She later posted a $3k bond and told TMZ she was innocent. There’s a new mugshot out of Tommie, this would reportedly make number 33. James Pray for TV One Sheesh, Tommie. We’re sure this will be shown on the upcoming new season of #LHHATL.

A D.C. area radio show almost went up in flames this morning after Danni Starr , the sole woman on their morning show trio, felt ambushed by her male co-workers Quicksilver & DJ 5 9 by a thirsty babysitter she said she didn’t want to hire. They actually invited an IG model that slid into Danni’s DM after she posted she was looking for an emergency sitter. Danni never responded to the model/singer/nobody when she applied for the job, but instead the thirsty bird contacted her co-workers to complain that Danni was denying her opportunities because she was “jealous”. When the unknown trollop got to the studio, she tried to go HARD on Danni and she was so pissed! She quit. Hi. My name is Danni, I have two beautiful little girls. I need a job. Here is a statement from her male co-host who set up the segment where he says she knew what was going on, but he does regret not protecting her after ole “wannabe famous” girl came for her neck. Seems like Danni is already forgiving her immature co-workers…she asked folks to take it easy on them. Harvard University campus in Boston Massachusetts USA Harvard Professor Leaves Amid 18 Sexual Harassment Allegations A Harvard University Political Science professor by the name of Jorge I. Domínguez has left his job following 18 different women coming forward to claim they had been sexually harassed by him. In a report published by the Chronicle of Higher Education , several colleagues of Domínguez came forward in order to tell stories of unwanted advances and other inappropriate behavior. The alleged incidents date decades back all the way to the ’80s. Terry Karl, a junior professor during her time at Harvard, explained that he would often touch her inappropriately. After filing a complaint against Domínguez, who was slated to be the next department chair, Harvard determined he was responsible for misconduct and as a result, he “was removed from administrative responsibilities for three years and told that any future misconduct could trigger his dismissal.” After Karl left the university, several other women–including both faculty and students–filed sexual harassment complaints against Dominguez to the university, many of which were dismissed or held up indefinitely. Other women who spoke to the Chronicle said they stayed silent on their experiences out of fear of retaliation, which included some leaving the university entirely. Karl insists that she did everything she could to sound the alarm while she was at Harvard and emphasizes, “the silence was not mine. It was Harvard’s.” Very soon after the Chronicle report was published approximately a week ago, Harvard put Domínguez on administrative leave pending review. But then, in an email to colleagues, the disgraced professor announced that he would be leaving Harvard once and for all. He wrote, “I am retiring from my job at Harvard at the end of this semester. It has been a privilege to serve the university.” Jorge I. Domínguez refused to comment directly on Karl’s claims, according to the Chronicle .
