Kim Kardashian celebrated the holiest of days on the Catholic calendar by sharing a picture that provoked a pretty similar reaction across the Internet. And that reaction was this: HOLY CRAP, THAT’S INAPPOPRIATE! Yes, the reality star really did share the above photo of her impressive cleavage on the day Jesus Christgot resurrected and came back to life many years ago. And, yes, she did include a bunny ears emoji as a caption along with it. But promoting her sensual figure on this special holiday is actually NOT the reason Kim is under intense online scrutiny right now. Instead, Kardashian is facing a great deal of backlash today for the following Twitter photo and message: “Happy Easter,” Kim wrote as a simple caption to this snapshot, which features a golden cross shimmering in the sky with the sun behind it. However, religious symbol is lined with a repeating design that looks to be diamonds, leading some pious followers to think Kardashian has missed the spirit of the Easter holiday. Jesus, after all, was not exactly into wealth and the flaunting of one’s riches. “Nothing says Easter better than a diamond studded cross,” wrote one annoyed Internet user in response to this picture, while another asked: “is this a joke?” The mother of three, who was just praised a few days ago for her March of Our Lives attendance , is now once again considered the self-centered enemy by a handful of critics. Here’s a selection of other Twitter comments in reply to her fancy diamond image: Another person said she thought this was a “meme” on Kim’s part. But we’re pretty sure she meant it as a serious way to send Easter wishes to her followers. “Ok but anyone else think this might be a yeezus album cover hint??” asked another user, which really would be pretty lame on Kim’s part. One really should not use this very holy day as a PR opportunity. Then again, some might say, one should not appropriate Asian culture in the way Kim has often been accused of doing. SZA’s New Video For “Broken Clocks” Has Arrived SZA has been killing the visuals for various tracks on her album Ctrl , and the latest one to be released is for one of the most beloved songs of the project, “Broken Clocks.” SZA and Dave Free–who is the President of Top Dawg Entertainment–directed the video together, and both teased it’s release on Thursday ahead of it’s release a few hours later. The visual for “Broken Clocks” features SZA and a group of others (including Schoolboy Q) at “Camp Ctrl” doing things like jumping into the lake and roasting marshmallows. Grau/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images) Michigan State Students Want Jillian Kirk Expelled Michigan State students are calling for the University to take serious disciplinary action against a sophomore with a history of bigotry. According to The Tab reports multiple students have complained repeatedly about sophomore Jillian Kirk’s penchant for racist tweets and snapchat posts. While many of her original posts have been deleted, multiple students have reposted the offensive posts, resulted in the posts going viral. See some examples below. According to the statement, they are addressing the situation on a variety of platforms, and intend to use this as “an opportunity to keep a conversation about race and inclusion ongoing.” So basically they’re not gonna do ish. Why doesn’t Michigan State have a policy against abusive language and behavior like this? Intolerance should not be tolerated. F or months, Ben Carson has proven to be a failure as secretary at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). He was accused in a lawsuit by Helen Foster of demoting her for not approving extravagant office renovations. There are accusations of his family being too involved at HUD, emails proving he has lied and even reports of Carson using taxpayer money for private planes . However, there is good news (finally) coming out of HUD—but Carson isn’t the one to thank. According to the New York Daily News , “For decades the city Housing Authority has experienced cuts in funding from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). This year the Trump administration proposed more of the same, with NYCHA bracing for a huge 66% cut to big-ticket capital projects and an 11% trim to day-to-day operations funds.” Sounds terrible, right? But, reports the newspaper, “Congress rejected that approach and appropriated millions more for housing programs nationwide. Trump complained but signed it March 23.” Consequently, for the first time in years, New York City Housing Authority and other city affordable housing programs will get a big boost in funds from the feds. The numbers still need to be approved but preliminary reports expect, “NYCHA will get $160 million more for capital projects, a 46% spike to $506 million. It also adds $30 million more for operations for a total of $919 million, a modest 3% bump.” The NYCHA released a statement, which read, “For the first time in decades, Congress has significantly increased the federal resources available for affordable and public housing, recognizing the critical role that housing play in our lives, our communities and our economy.” Finally, some good work done at HUD! And Ben Carson gets none of the credit! In addition, he continues to struggle: Carson has now asked his employees to write their own mission statement, after his completely missed the mark of why the Department of Housing and Urban Development was created. Tyga Denies Being The Father Of Kylie Jenner’s Baby Ever since Kylie Jenner started hiding her Stormi bump last year, rumors swirled that her ex-boyfriend Tyga was the child’s REAL father, while new bae Travis Scott was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Tyga never did much to dispell the Maury-drama of it all, and even fanned the gossip flames himself on more than one occasion. After all…Kylie started dating Travis about a week after breaking up with Tyga, and popped up pregnant just a month or so after that… Well, after months of chatter, Tyga is ready to shut all the speculation down. The rapper took to Twitter to once and for all deny parentage of Kylie’s daughter, and scold those who would dare say different: I’ve never said anything about someone else’s child or family insinuating my involvement; and will never do so. Please, Stop spreading false stories and attacking people’s families. I have nothing to do with any of that. Kylie Jenner is here with a new round of self-portraits. But these aren’t your typical Kylie Jenner self-portraits. They don’t feature the reality star in lingerie or some skimpy outfit or anything. In fact, our eyes are barely on Kylie at all in this three-image pictorial… and that’s because the selfies are dominated by a certain adorable face lying right next to her mother. Indeed, Jenner has snapped and shared her first-ever selfies with daughter Stormi Webster , who was born to the 20-year old and baby daddy Travis Scott back on February 1. The young first-time mother didn’t include much of a caption with the snapshots, simply writing ““Stormiiiiiiiii♥” alongside each one. These are some of the clearest glimpses we’ve gotten yet at the eight-week old, who insiders say has totally and completely stolen Kylie’s heart. In a recent Twitter Q&A with fans, Kylie said her favorite part of her daughter is, well, “all of her,” but if forced to choose, she’d go with Stormi’s little toes. Over the past few weeks, Jenner has posted multiple pictures of the tiny human’s various tiny body parts, but rarely photos as precious at these. Just check out the second selfie, for instance: Earlier this month, Jenner also took to Instagram to upload a heartfelt picture of her grandma Mary Jo Campbell holding Stormi, writing at the time as a caption: “I mean.. does it get any better than this?” Even Scott is smitten, much to the surprise of critics who didn’t think the rapper would be a very hands-on father. Heck, some people out there thought he’d even leave Kylie due to her pregnancy. But they were wrong. Scott is reportedly very involved in his kid’s life and even has Kylie now thinking she wants to marry him someday soon . But we’re not here to speculate on the future of Kylie and Travis as a couple. That’s for another time. We’re instead here to marvel over little Stormi and to applaud Jenner for taking so well to motherhood. We still doubt she actually planned to get pregnant and we still question why she’s so very consumed with losing all her baby weight . But we can’t deny that she seems focused on being the best parent she can possibly be. And she takes a few moments to also pose for some sizzling snapshots (below) while Stormi naps or something, who are we to judge? We might as well just sit back and enjoy, right?
