CinemaNow headed to VuNow

VuNow has announced that they have added Roxio CinemaNow content to their VuNow Internet TV service. The service allows users to watch video content directly from their TVs without the need for a PC. The service connects to YouTube, many global TV stations, and now over 10,000 CinemaNow movies.

Online movie watching continues strong growth

According to a new survey on ‘American Internet habits’ reported by the Pew Internet and American Life Project , online movie watching has doubled over the last two years. 35 percent of those surveyed said they had watched a TV show or movie online in 2009, up from 16 percent in 2007. Upcoming Android updates to include ‘sweeter’ names

According to a WSJ report, Google has announced some “sweet” names for its upcoming Android updates, with the updates being called “donut,” “eclair,” and “flan.” Android users will remember that the recent Android 1.5 update was dubbed “cupcake.” Andy Rubin, a vice president of engineering at Google, also noted that the upcoming Chrome OS will not replace Android, and will be aimed at different markets. As an example of how Android is evolving, Rubin points to the example of the My Touch 3G , which even has a hardware “Google Search” button. Press the side button on the phone and the Google search box will pop up
