C hicago-bred music artist Chance the Rapper has continually lent his voice and resources in an effort to overcome some of the most pressing issues that the Black community is faced with today. The latest cause that the “No Problem” rapper is supporting is the fight for adequate mental health care in his hometown, WSBT22 reported. He shared the news during a summit that his organization SocialWorks hosted on Thursday. There is often a stigma surrounding mental health amongst African Americans, and Bennet is aiming to change that narrative. As part of his six-figure donation, six mental health care facilities in the Cook County area will receive grants that are worth $100,000. His non-profit—which focuses on educating and empowering the youth through civic engagement and the arts—will also launch a new program dubbed “My State of Mind” that will make mental health treatment more accessible for those battling mental illness. Additionally, Bennett has pledged to donate more money to 20 Chicago Public Schools. Mental health is something that the rapper has personally battled with. In 2017, he publicly spoke about his struggles with anxiety. “Anxiety is now something that I’m just getting exposed to, it’s a big conversation and idea that I’m getting introduced to now,” he said in an interview, according to NME . “For a long time that wasn’t a thing that we talked about, I don’t remember people talking about it… when I was growing up… I’m starting to get a better understanding of that part of my life.” Several celebrities are launching initiatives that are centered on mental health and overall wellness. In August, actress Taraji P. Henson announced that she was launching a non-profit organization that is designed to provide resources for individuals battling with mental illness. SEE ALSO: Taraji P. You know singing other people’s song, the lesson taught in Social Media 101… Produce content people are googling or searching on youtube, then rip it off with your tits out, and the follower count will grow and grow and grow…. It’s funny to me that it’s just that easy for some people, yet other people just try so hard to make it on social media. It’s not like the big brands are that sophisticated, they’ll do anything or buy anything or throw money at anything that has a following…to get a piece of the action witout having to invest in building a audience like they used to do in the past. David Eason Says "All Trans are Perverts" in This Bigoted Rant

This NOT just in: David Eason hates gay people. The husband of Jenelle Evans was fired by MTV several months ago for so often sharing this viewpoint, not that his dismissal caused Eason to reconsider his opinion or keep his social media mouth shut or anything of that nature. Quite the opposite, in fact. The polarizing personality has said recently that he's proud to be a straight white redneck and that, of course, gay people suck . What about transgender individuals?  Eason expresses his close-minded and very ignorant take on them below… 1. Eason Has Been Ranting About Gay People for Awhile Dude is obsessed with the topic, bringing it up out of nowhere at times. Back in February, in response to a discussion online about parenting methods, he said to an Internet user: “Why don’t you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals? Oh I forgot that’s supposed to be normal.” 2. You’re Fired! This was merely the latest example of Eason being a horrible bigot, which led to MTV firing him a few days later and releasing this statement: “David Eason’s personal comments do not reflect the views of MTV. With six weeks left of production on Teen Mom 2, effective immediately, we are ending our relationship with him.” 3. So… Why are We Still Talking About Him? Because he’s still married to Jenelle and because he keeps saying such terrible stuff. Just consider his latest ranting, raving and insulting on Facebook… 4. It Started with This Meme We assume the first photo here, as shared by Eason, is a reference to the ongoing controversy over whether or not Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted women back in the early 1980s… while the second is a reference to many people out there being in favor of transgender individuals using whichever restroom with which they identify. 5. … And He’s Off As you might expect, this meme generated many comments from users and many, many ridiculous comments from Eason. 6. Nick Cannon Responds To Kanye West Like pretty much the rest of the world, Nick Cannon caught wind of Kanye’s “leave my wife alone” rant targeted at him, Drake, and even Tyson Beckford. But he didn’t waste much time leveling a response right back and Kanye. In his social media scolding, Kanye told Nick: First of all, I want to address Nick Cannon. I understand that you used to date my wife but you get an interview, don’t mention my wife. If someone brings my wife up, you say ‘I respect that man, I’m not speaking on that.’ Now, if you need a refresher on why Kanye felt compelled to call out Nick Cannon , it all stemmed from some roundabout statements he made on Everyday Struggle a few weeks back. At the 32:30 mark , the topic of Kanye squashing the Drake and Pusha T beef comes up and Akademiks suggests that Drake smashed Kim Kardashian, to which Nick responded: That’s not that far off of a concept! This is just as a fan, stepping back — there’s something real personal going on in that world…there’s something that Drake holds over that whole family, that he’s like “y’all don’t want me to let this out.” I won’t say that, but I was thinking the same sh*t. There’s something over there. After catching wind of Kanye’s instruction on how to speak (or not speak) on his wife and their relationship, Nick took to his own Instagram to address him back. He says that he doesn’t believe that he said anything disrespectful at all, but ultimately, Kanye nor anyone else is going to tell him what to say or how to answer questions when they’re asked: Furthermore, he shadily hints that Kanye could have called him directly, but since he didn’t he’ll address him publicly as well — and presents a standing offer to come settle his score on the Wild n’ Out stage for their 200th episode. Julie Chen: Will She Leave Big Brother, Too?

At this point, Julie Chen is as synonymous with Big Brother as racism, homophobia and stunning evictions. And yet fans of this long-running reality show are now refreshing their browsers every other minute in order to learn the answer to the following question: Is Chen about to say goodbye as host? Questions about Chen’s future on CBS in general are understandably prominent at the moment, considering she just left The Talk . The veteran panelist did so amidst a sexual misconduct scandal surrounding husband Les Moonves, who just lost his job as CBS President due to allegations that he forced himself upon multiple women a couple decades ago. In a video message that aired on Tuesday’s edition of The Talk ( is that not the dumbest name ever for a program?!? ), Chen told viewers that she simply needs to be around her family as much as possible these days. “Right now, I need to spend more time at home with my husband and young son,” she said rather simply. We wonder if the intense criticism that came Chen’s way last week also played a role in this decision. Upon signing off from Big Brother a few days ago, Chen showed obvious support for Moonves by attaching his last name to hers for the first time ever on air. Social media blew up over this move. Is it shocking that Chen is standing by her man? Not really. But many viewers were still aghast over such a public display because Moonves is accused of some pretty heinous stuff . Chen is expected to stay on as host through the Season 20 finale on September 26. They figure the less association CBS has overall with Moonves or anyone in his family, the better. If Chen does leave – and this remains a big IF – season 2 winner Dr. Will Kirby would reportedly be under consideration as her replacement. The same can be said, according to this tabloid’s sources, of Celebrity Big Brother runner-up Ross Mathews and Big Brother Canada host Arisa Cox. TMZ, meanwhile, claims that Chen wants to return to Big Brother and that the current plan is for her to do so… … IF Big Brother is renewed, that is. Forget Chen’s future on the show, this website writes . The future of the actual show is in question. So that’s where things stand at the moment. Many unanswered questions are out there.
