Sofia Richie: Justin Bieber is Very "Special" to Me

Sofia Richie has broken her silence when it comes to Justin Bieber. It’s true: although Richie and Bieber have been dating for a number of weeks now, the 18-year old model has never really commented publicly about the singer before. She’s just posed alongside him for a number of cozy Instagram photos is all. To wit: And to wit again: Richie and Bieber went public with their romance about a month ago, as she traveled all the way to Tokyo with the singer for segments of his world tour. The two walked around the street, hung out in a hotel and shared many of these experiences on social media. This resulted in an unfortunate, albeit expected, backlash, with Bieber followers not just insulting Richie… but actually threatening her life. Bieber tried to calm down the madness by telling his fans to leave Richie alone or else he would make his Instagram account private. This announcement backfired, however, after Selena Gomez jumped in to Justin’s Comments section and told him to just keep his private life private. She later apologized for the inappropriate message, but the damage had already been done. Annoyed at the negative attention, Bieber took it one step further: he left Instagram for a number of weeks. Everything became a mess, basically, just because Justin Bieber found a new girlfriend. But this hasn’t seemed to put a damper on the romance with Richie. The teenager is featured on the cover of this month’s Billboard, bringing Bieber up with the publication and making it clear that something is happening between them. “We have a special relationship. Justin is very easy to talk to, and that’s hard to find with people in Los Angeles,” Richie tells the magazine. She doesn’t elaborate, but she doesn’t really have to, either. Sofia Richie, who is officially old enough for Bieber to bang , is admitting here that she’s dating Justin Bieber. And Bieber seems very happy about that. And what else really matters? In the issue, Richie also addresses some of the online bullying she’s faced as her romance with the superstar has grown more intense. “I remember the paparazzi and the sh-t people would say to [sister Nicole], and she wouldn’t respond,” Richie says. “I’m going to be real with you: It. Doesn’t. Bother. Me. As long as I’m happy.” We love that attitude. And we love how Richie has apparently chosen to respond to the paparazzi .

Sofia Richie and Justin Bieber Make It Official!

Sofia Richie and Justin Bieber are officially, completely, 100% for real a couple. If you put a lot of stock in the world of Instagram, that is. A few days after the singer was first spotted getting his flirt on with the 17-year old sister of Nicole Richie, Bieber and Sofia have posed together on Instagram. Many, many times. Oh, yes. Like we said: these two are now official. Instagram official ! We’re not joking. This is a big deal, going public with their status in such a way that Bieber’s millions and millions of followers must now bear witness to their PDA. The artist is off in Tokyo at the moment, but he’s been joined there by his apparent new girlfriend. Neither Bieber nor Richie has commented on their relationship, at least not in the traditional sense of releasing any kind of statement. But it’s pretty easy to read between the romantic lines when checking out their social media feeds. In the following picture, for instance, Bieber is only wearing underwear while seemingly standing in a hotel room. There’s Richie in the foreground, doing a certain dance that Justin references in the caption. “Dab on em,” he captioned the black and white snapshot. An hour after this image went viral on Friday, the artist and his new squeeze hopped into the backseat of a car, where they posed for another selfie together (way above). In the picture, Bieber slightly smirks and Richie pouts her lips in a seductive manner. Still not convinced this is a real relationship? What about the following photo, which Richie shared on her Instagram account and which features the pair in each other’s arms? It also features a pair of heart emojis as the caption… Bieber and Richie are in Japan for a couple of stops on the former’s Purpose World Tour. But it didn’t take long for Bieber to then move on to Richie. He was first spotted holding her hand in Laguna Beach, prior to the pair jetting off to Tokyo. It is another photo of the tandem, once again having silly fun in the backseat of a car. But this caption addresses the singer’s fans and actually issues a threat due to the trash they’ve been talking online to Richie. “I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand,” Bieber wrote, adding: “if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.” So there you have it. Bieber is admirably sticking up for his new girlfriend, who is sadly receiving the same sort of harassment that past Justin Bieber girlfriends have suffered through. The guy is right, of course. If he’s happy and if you’re a fan of his… isn’t that what you want? Unless you truly believed that YOU would end up dating Justin Bieber, why give grief to someone that puts a smile on his face?

Thomas Gibson: A History of Violence on Criminal Minds

Thomas Gibson solves crimes as agent Aaron Hotchner on Criminal Minds. But new reports have surfaced that make the veteran actor appear as if he’s been on the wrong side of the fictional law all these years. We’re not saying Gibson should be in jail, we’re just writing a very poor segue to explain what has recently gone down with the star. Earlier this morning, news broke that Gibson has been suspended from Criminal Minds . The actor allegedly got into a heated dispute with one of the show’s writers. When things grew especially tense, Gibson actually kicked the dude in the leg! And Gibson has pretty much admitted to his inappropriate actions. “There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement,” he said in a statement, adding: “I regret that it occurred. We all want to work together as a team to make the best show possible. We always have and always will.” Now, new information has surfaced about the incident; about the writer; and about Gibson himself. First, the writer: his name is Virgil Williams. He serves as co-executive producer on the long-running drama and he’s a trained boxer. He’s also a practitioner of martial arts. An insider tells TMZ that Williams possesses a “super-big macho ego” and that Williams may have egged Gibson on during their argument. The website writes that  Williams “escalated the verbal argument by making a move” toward Gibson in a highly aggressive manner.” As a result, Gibson’s kick was sort of done in self-defense. After it happened, Willams went to his agent… who went to CBS management… who had no choice but to punish Gibson. So, yes, this makes it sound as if Gibson was kind of the victim. But hold on: TMZ also reports that he has a history of violent encounters on the set of Criminal Minds. In 2010 Gibson, shoved an assistant director – in front of cast and crew – while shooting a scene. At the time, he blamed it on the director, claiming the guy was moving too slowly. (So this was cause for a push?) Gibson wasn’t suspended at the time, but CBS executives did send him to anger management classes as a result. Overall, Gibson has been aggressive and verbally abusive for YEARS on set, yet folks have remained quiet because he’s the show’s star. It now looks like his behavior has finally come back to haunt him. Gibson has been suspended for two weeks, but the punishment could last longer. Criminal Minds Season 12 will kick off (pun, intended) on Wednesday, September 28 at 9/8c. View Slideshow: CANCELED! Which TV Shows Got the Axe in 2016? We can’t say for certain, but it’s safe to assume Gibson will be a part of the premiere. That episode has probably already been shot. But will we been Hotchner-free for a few installments afterward due to this suspension? How will the show write the character out if so? Time, folks, will tell. Let’s hope Gibson chills out and gets the attitude adjustment he seems to need until then.

Oksana Grigorieva Loses $14.75M of Settlement For Leaking Mel Gibson Tapes

Oksana Grigorieva was originally supposed to receive $15 million in her settlement with Mel Gibson, but will only be getting 1/60 of that. Yes, one-sixtieth. She has only herself to blame, too. The Russian model and mother to the one-time couple’s six-year-old daughter, Lucia, will only receive $250,000 from the Oscar winner. Domestic abuse claims she made in an interview on The Howard Stern Show in 2013 cost her $14,750,000, according to court documents. Gibson pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of battery (saving him jail time), originally agreeing to a custody settlement of $15 million. The only stipulation was a big one, and clear: If Grigorieva vowed not to release damning information about the actor and director to the public, then she would receive that amount. Didn’t happen. Oksana told police just months later that Gibson had punched her as well as threatened her life and brandished a gun around Lucia. Subsequently, the Mel Gibson tapes surfaced. In a series of disturbing audio recordings, the actor sounded deranged as he told her she “deserved” the assault he allegedly committed. He added that he would “bury” her and burn down her residence, as well as the fact that she sucks at music and various other insults. It was bad. Very bad. But it cost her too. After a year of legal wrangling, they settled on a much more modest $750,000, which Gibson agreed to dole out to her in three installments. He was set to pay $250,000 after the releases were signed, $250,000 by September 2013 and a final installment by September 2016. The judge warned her not to speak publicly about the case or any of the allegations against Mel, or that settlement would be void as well. Again, she didn’t listen. Gibson had paid the first of the $250,000 installments, but the California Court of Appeals ruled that he won’t have to pay the other $500,000. Thus, Grigorieva will only receive 1/60 of the original $15 million she left on the table, thanks to leaking the tapes and talking to Stern. Totally worth it.
