On Thursday (January 27), Jason Bateman, Jon Hamm, Nicole Kidman, Jeremy Renner, Sofia Vergara and Robin Wright were announced as presenters, joining the previously announced Scott Bakula, Alec Baldwin, Jeff Bridges, Tim Conway, Rosario Dawson, Josh Duhamel, Angie Harmon, Eva Longoria, Cory Monteith, Amy Poehler, Hilary Swank, Betty White and SAG President Ken Howard. For those still reeling from the Golden Globe ceremony and Oscar nominations , prepare yourselves for another star-studded awards show. The 17th annual SAG Awards will air live on TNT and TBS on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET from the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles. The SAG Awards are the only televised awards shows to exclusively honor performers, presenting 13 awards for acting in film and television. This year, the big nominees in film are also Oscar nominees, including “The King’s Speech” and “The Fighter.” In television, “Modern Family,” “Glee” and “30 Rock” lead the comedy categories, while “Mad Men” and “Boardwalk Empire” lead in drama. Ernest Borgnine will receive this year’s lifetime-achievement award, which was given to Betty White at last year’s ceremony following a comical speech by her “Proposal” co-star and eventual SAG Best Actress winner Sandra Bullock . “Seventy-one years ago when I signed on to an experimental thing called television,” White said of her career, “I never would have expected it to culminate in an evening like this.” Stick with MTV News for SAG Awards coverage throughout the weekend and from the red carpet on Sunday night! Earlier today I posted some pictures of Christina Aguilera in which she seemed to be putting on a few pounds right before our eyes, her legs looked like they could take down a small mule. So I thought I’d give her another chance by posting some shots of her in her nicest evening gown at the Golden Globes last night. Sadly, she’s still fat. Is she preggers? I must be out of the loop. Anyhow, the only upside to someone like Christina putting on a few dozen pounds is that, at least in the beginning, it all goes to the chest area and I’m all for it. After that, it’s a slippery slope. Enjoy it while you can.
I guarantee some of the lesser celebrity blogs out there are killing themselves with a boatload of Golden Globe comments when referring to all the breasts from last night’s show, but I’m not going to stoop to that level. Even if Sofia Vergara’s beautiful boobs are staring me in the face like a couple of plump, round, perfectly tanned orbs, damn it, I’m not going to do it. I love this lady and if I knew what the spanish word for motorboat was, I think I might have a chance with her. Enjoy.

And it seems that some of the region’s biggest celebs have mixed feelings about the snow. “Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara simply tweeted, “Finally snowing in the house!! Wuuu hooo!” She then posted a photo of herself bundled up in the snow. “Jersey Shore” star Snooki seemed content with the weather. “Still up and enjoying this snow storm !! #snowpartyallnight.” She later added: “Ahhh the reindeer are getting burried Wahhh! Poor things,” followed by a photo of herself hanging out among the snow drifts. VH1 reality star and former MTV VJ La La Vazquez went to Twitter for a weather update: “Is it still snowing in NYC?” If La La needed an answer, all she had to do was look to the Twitter feeds of some of reality TV’s biggest stars, who were out in full force reacting to the intense snow that fell over much of the Tri-State Area. “I have to say I freakin HATE snow,” tweeted “Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum Dina Manzo . “Does nothing but cause problems & put people I love in danger. It should only snow in the mountains.” Fellow New Jersey housewife Danielle Staub had a more positive reaction to the epic downfall, tweeting, “It’s snowing!!! Good morning. My kids are so excited about all the snow falling!! Yay!!!
