Kyrie Irving’s Blasted For Abundance Of White Women At Yacht Party Kyrie Irving is still livin’ high on the hog after hitting what would become the game-winning shot over Steph Curry to win the NBA Championship. In celebratory fashion, the young baller decided to throw himself a lil’ yacht shindig. Nothin’ wrong with that. Thing is, a video clip from the party hit social media and there wasn’t a single black women seen on the boat. In fairness, the clip was 30 seconds from the rear of the boat. Could have been God knows how many women of color inside the boat. But that has absolutely NOTHING to do with these jokes gettin’ off. Kyrie got nothing but Non-Pasteurized, Pure Lowfat Dairy on that boat.. pic.twitter.com/rAAsrniQEd — El Trigueño (@AceHudsonJr) June 24, 2016 And of course, the conversation devolved into this… Definitely lost all respect for Kyrie Irving. Don't respect a man that downs his fellow black sister. — Brandi Ayanna (@Brandi_ayanna) June 24, 2016 Once this type of talk started, an avalanche of slander cascaded from the ashy, bitter, intersectional heavens. ”Guy Code’s” Damien Lemon Hosting New TV Show BOSSIP is excited to share the news that comedian Damien Lemon (“Guy Code”) will be hosting a new TruTV show “Comedy Knockout” that debuts tonight 4/21 at 10:30 pm. We caught up with the New York native about his new venture. Check out our interview below, along with more details about the show: “Comedy K.O. is a game show, a competition show where three comedians battle to see who is the funniest,” Damien told BOSSIP.”I’m hosting, it’s judged by a live studio audience. They play games and we set them up with various premises to riff off and the funniest joke wins. So it starts off with three contestants, second round one of the three gets eliminated, and gets voted off by the studio audience and gets relegated to sit with the same people that just voted them off, so that gets awkward. That’s funny, but they’re still off to the side so they can heckle. The winner gets a Comedy K.O. and is able to give a speech, but the loser has to read an apology that has been pre-written by writers that they’ve never read before that is basically destroying their career. So it’s a fun show. It’s a good time. I’m excited about it.” Damien revealed the show’s executive producer Mo Mandel actually approached him about hosting. “It’s different being the host,” Lemon admitted. “It’s a learning experience, a different muscle to flex. One thing is, being the host is a totally different responsibility, you can’t really indulge in everything you have to referee. As a comedian I am sensitive to comedians, especially because we have a live studio audience so when a comedian is on a run they are trying to get that audience on their side and go all out, but if we get what we need I have producers in my ear like, ‘Okay, move on…’ so I gotta kinda shut people down in a way that is not killing them on television.” Asked to name his favorite competitor from the show, Lemon was quick to respond. “I know Jim Norton killed it, he is such a dope joke writer, it was so consistent, there were no flaws, but the whole vibe has been pretty fun.” Comedy Knockout pits comedians against each other in a series of fast-paced challenges, with the audience having sole discretion to decide who is the funniest person in the room. In each of the 10 half-hour episodes, host Damien Lemon (Guy Code) sends three comics into a battle of high stakes comedic gameplay. With points doled out based on the audience’s applause, it’s all about one-upmanship as competitors attempt to land massive comedy blows and whip the rowdy crowd into a frenzy of raucous laughter. The whole time, the comedians throw roast-like, rapid-fire jabs at each other to knock their opponents off balance. Every show ends with one comedian crowned champion, one eliminated and one ultimately forced to face the crowd and apologize for going down in shameful defeat. Guest comedians this season will include Jim Norton, Sherrod Small, Kevin Barnett, Jamie Lee, Arden Myrin, Chris Distefano and many more.
Bangers… Margot Bingham Pictures Margot Bingham is the kinky, curly stunner playing a natural haired stylist in “Barbershop: The Next Cut.” This Jamaican and Jewish actress shines in the film as Bree, an opinionated and woke naturalista who speaks out against the sexist conversations swirling around her at the shop. If Margot looks familiar, it’s because prior to her time on the big screen, she starred on HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” as Daughter Maitland. She now stars on ABC’s ‘The Family” as Nina Meyer, the dedicated detective working tirelessly to help a family learn what really happened to their missing son. Are YOU going to see Barbershop this weekend???? Hit the flip for more photos of the curly and cute Margot Bingham.

Atlanta Teenager Candace Hill Is The Fastest Track Star In Nation Georgia teen, Candace Hill, is breaking records and excelling in her academics as one of the premiere young athletes of our generation according to New York Times : When Candace Hill became the fastest teenage girl the United States has ever clocked, sprinting 100 meters in 10.98 seconds in June, she was suddenly good enough not only to qualify for next summer’s Rio Olympics, but also to potentially win a medal there. Now, at age 16, she has become the youngest track athlete in the United States to turn professional. “It’s the era of the girl in general,” said Lauren Fleshman, a professional runner and five-time N.C.A.A. champion at Stanford. “Women have never been more marketable in sports than they are now, from U.S. soccer to Serena. Forty-plus years since Title IX means we have our first generation of supportive parents and coaches who grew up with the idea of female athletes not being horrifying. People are training girls harder than ever.” Allyson Felix turned professional instead of running for the University of Southern California in 2003, going on to become one of the most successful American sprinters in history. Felix remained the only track athlete to bypass college for professional running until a decade later, when the middle-distance runner Mary Cain signed with Nike in 2013 at age 17 before enrolling at the University of Portland. Cain was followed by the distance runner Alexa Efraimson, who signed with Nike at age 17 in 2014. Earlier this year, Kaylin Whitney, who set the high school 100-meter record before Hill shattered it, signed with Nike on her 17th birthday. The middle-distance runner Ajee’ Wilson turned pro right after high school instead of competing in college in 2012. But none of them stood out the way Hill does. Her potential is considered so outsize that she brokered an unusual arrangement with Asics, a running footwear and apparel company. It will cover full tuition for Hill, who has a 4.6 grade-point average and top-10 class ranking in her magnet school near Atlanta, at any college that admits her. The contract, which at 10 years is also uncommonly long, effectively serves as an athletic scholarship, even though Hill, who plans to attend college while competing, will not be eligible to race collegiately. (Asics and Hill declined to discuss the financial terms of the arrangement.) “Candace is as good a student as she is an athlete, and we found that intriguing,” said Gene McCarthy, the chief executive of Asics America Group. “For us, she’s a Halley’s comet of sport, a teenager who’s tremendously gifted in both mind and body. With that talent and drive, we’re betting that she can be the fastest woman in the world someday.” See you at the Olympics Candace!!! Steve Strother Photo
