My name is Catherine, I am 15 and I am from England. I have…

My name is Catherine, I am 15 and I am from England. I have always been the most unluckiest person ever. I never used to win anything no matter how many competitions I entered, and that was quite a lot! It was always my dream to meet Justin Bieber one day and I never used to win any of the meet and greet competitions I entered. But Justin always taught me to  NEVER SAY NEVER  so I never gave up! On 11th of March 2011 my dream came true! My friend Lucy and I entered a BieberFever.com meet and greet  competition  to meet him at the Liverpool Echo Arena and we won! We couldn’t believe it, it was the most  amazing  feeling in the world! We found out that we were meeting him the day before the actual concert and had been waiting for a few weeks for the email if we won or not. The concert started at 7:30pm but me and Lucy arrived in Liverpool at about 11 o’clock in the morning, we couldn’t wait! We both waited outside Justin’s hotel for a while and everyone was just screaming and singing his songs. Later on we walked over to near the Echo Arena and we heard loads of people shouting for Justin.  Then out of no where,  Marvin Millora  appeared and walked out casually. No one really  recognized  him but me and Lucy ran after him so fast to catch up. We asked for a photo and he said no and we were like please and he said,  ”Just joking, of course!” T hen we got a picture with him! We headed back over to the arena and saw  Dan Kanter, Ryan Good and Allison Kaye  walking past so we got pictures with them! We spoke to them for a bit but they were going to the Beatles Museum. Then at about half 4pm we collected our meet & greet wristbands and lined up. We were both shaking like mad and very nervous, I thought I was going to faint! At about half 5pm they came and got us and took us through. They said no screaming when you get in there please, just be as normal as you can. I was just so scared inside but excited and happy at the same time! It didn’t feel real at all! Then they took us through this small room we had to go in fours so me and my friend Lucy went with these two other girls that we started talking to. We walked past  Kenny Hamilton  and I said hello! T hen we turned around and there he was just standing right in front of us. Justin smiled and I was just like freaking out in my head. He said ‘Hey’. I said, ‘Hello, Oh my god your amazing!!’ He thanked me and we got a photo and hugged him each! He told us to enjoy the show, have a good night! My heart was just racing! I didn’t want to leave but we had to and we walked out the room. Loads of girls started coming up to us and saying, “Oh my God have you just met Justin Bieber? Oh my God you are so lucky”. My friend was crying at this point in shock. Then it was time for the show! He put on an amazing concert. Now my life is actually complete!  NEVER SAY NEVER RIGHT!  -@cattymcclearyx More: My name is Catherine, I am 15 and I am from England. I have…

Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young: Totes in Love!

Forget Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson or David Cook. Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young are the true winners of American Idol . Because they found each other. The season three runner-up, DeGarmo, and the season five finalist, Ace Young, fell in love in 2010 when both starred in a production of Hair – and are finally speaking out now about their relationship. Unlike most couples, these two first saw each naked long before they reached the bedroom, as the aforementioned play requires actors and actresses to bare it all. But “I was already interested in her as a person before I got to see her with no clothes on,” Ace said . “But [that] sealed the deal.” After DeGarmo toured the country with a different show, she returned to California, crashed on Young’s couch – “more like, I crashed in his bed,” she says – and never left. The pair are now part of a group called All Access, and we’ll give Ace the final words: “”She’s my best friend. To be able to dive in with Diana and help create songs that [tell] her story is amazing.” [Photo: WENN.com]

Pete Wentz Talks Future Of Black Cards

Despite departure of singer Bebe Rexha, Wentz tells MTV News ‘Black Cards isn’t done.’ By James Montgomery Spencer Peterson, Bebe Rexha and Pete Wentz of Black Cards Photo: WireImage Pete Wentz is reshuffling Black Cards , his post-Fall Out Boy project that, to date, has yielded a string of poppy, peppy live shows and a handful of remixes, but not a proper album (despite promises it would be coming in the summer of 2011 ). The changes began earlier this week, when the group deleted the name of frontwoman Bebe Rexha from their Facebook page and announced a new mixtape that had her noticeably absent on the cover. That touched off a wave of speculation that Rexha had been booted from the band, and that perhaps the very future of Black Cards was in doubt. On Friday (January 13), the band officially confirmed Rexha’s departure in a statement on their website that also seemed to hint that perhaps the Black Cards were finished. (Wentz fueled closed the statement with “The Black Cards are dead. Long live the Black Cards.”) But, in a series of emails to MTV News, Wentz let it be known that the band will continue — in one form or another. “Right now, [the band] is just Spencer [Peterson] and me. Who knows what tomorrow brings. There are a bunch of people I’d like to collaborate with and make some noise,” he wrote. “We have a few brand new songs that I can’t wait for people to hear.” Of course, Wentz didn’t clarify whether the Black Cards would be making music as a proper band, or as a remix project, as they’ve been doing in recent months “Albums are so 20th Century,” he wrote when asked about the band’s upcoming plans. “Mixtape out in the next week or so.” But he did want to set the record straight about Rexha’s departure. Simply put, it was anything but acrimonious. “Don’t believe everything you read. Fact checking isn’t really a priority for internet message boards,” he wrote. “[It was] a mutual decision. Bebe will forever be a homie, and we look forward to hearing music from her solo career.” Wentz also said that he hoped the songs the band recorded with Rexha would see the light of day eventually (“I’d hate for them to just gather dust,” he wrote), and closed by basically contradicting everything he had written in that official statement. Namely, the Black Cards aren’t finished … no matter who’s in the band. “Black Cards isn’t done,” he wrote. “More than the mixtape will be released.” Can the Black Cards go one without Bebe Rexha? Let us know what you think!

‘Bourne Legacy’ Star Oscar Isaac Is One To Watch In 2012

After a star turn in ‘Drive’ and a plum part in the globe-trotting franchise, Isaac is poised to top himself this year. By Josh Horowitz Oscar Isaac Photo: Getty Images Oscar Isaac had a pretty damn fine 2011, working with Madonna, Ryan Gosling and Zack Snyder. That’s a year nearly anyone in Hollywood — and certainly those trying to leap into its shark-infested waters — would kill to have. The crazy thing is that Isaac is poised to top himself in 2012. He’s starring opposite Jeremy Renner in “The Bourne Legacy,” a franchise that has grossed almost a billion dollars since its debut in 2002. And the Coen brothers cast him in the lead role in “Inside Llewyn Davis,” a film focusing on the 1960s-era folk music scene in Greenwich Village. No doubt, Isaac is One to Watch this year, which is why we hopped on the phone with the actor recently to discuss everything he has coming up over the next 12 months. MTV News : We’ve been following your career for a while here. First of all, you should know there’s a lot of huge “Drive” fans in our office. Oscar Isaac : Nice! I remember going in to see a very early cut of the film and thinking, “I cannot believe I am in this movie!” I was so stoked when I saw it. MTV : Does it feel like you’ve recently hit a groove with respect to what’s going on with your career? Isaac : Yeah, I think once I got the Coen brothers film, I could definitely feel a bit of a shift. The dream is definitely in full effect. I just got back from a meeting with the CoBros and it was amazing, man. It was just the three of us sitting around going through the script and showing each other different movies. Plus, I’m a musician — I’ve been doing that for years — and I get to play lots and lots of music in the film. I’m going to record an album of it in January in New York with T-Bone [Burnett]. MTV : Wow, that’s amazing. Isaac : Yeah, man. If I were to describe the exact perfect scenario for me it would be what’s happening for me in January and February in New York. I’m beside myself and can’t believe my luck. MTV : How did you get the part? Isaac : I found out about it way early on that they were putting together a movie based on the folk scene in the ’60s in New York. As soon as I heard that I was like, I’ve got to get in there. I sent in a tape of me playing one of the songs. It’s based on Dave Van Ronk who was known as the “Mayor of MacDougal Street.” They really liked what I sent in and they brought me in to audition. Then they made me wait for about a month. I was thinking about it nonstop and then they called and offered it to me. It was unreal to get that call from Joel [Coen]. MTV : Is the stuff you’re singing in the movie original music or will it be familiar? Isaac : It’s not overly familiar. They’re older folk songs. I don’t think anything is being written for it. T-Bone and I have gotten together to do some new arrangements of some of these old songs. There is lots of music in the movie. MTV : Would you call it a comedy? Isaac : Oh yeah, most definitely. There’s a nihilistic quality to it. It’s filled with a wry absurdist sense of humor. MTV : Who is this guy you play? Isaac: He’s a working-class guy from Queens. He’s just trying to make it in this scene. A lot of bad sh– happens to him. [ Laughs. ] He’s just resilient as f—. He keeps going forward in a slightly Buster Keaton-esque way. MTV : The put-upon man is definitely a Coen brothers specialty. Isaac: Yeah, exactly! Going through all their films there is something about that guy who has real heart but is always a couple steps behind. If a pigeon flies over and sh–s on someone, it’s going to be that guy. [ Laughs. ] MTV : I know you just wrapped on “The Bourne Legacy.” I’ve heard you were in the mix to get the lead role, right? Isaac : Yeah, I had never done a screen test before. They brought me in and I gave it a go at trying to look cool with a gun. [ Laughs. ] It was great. I really like Tony [Gilroy]. He’s so smart, and he runs a really inclusive set for such a big movie. It felt like an indie movie because all of the conversations were out in the open. It was one of the best shooting experiences I’ve had. MTV : How did you end up getting the part you did? Isaac : After the screen test I got the call saying the studio was not quite ready to pull the trigger on me. But a few weeks later, I got a call from Tony saying we’ve got this part and we’d love you to do it. I jumped at it, of course. I have to say they definitely got the right guy for the job. I would have acted the sh– out of it but Jeremy [Renner] is the real deal. The dude has incredible skills. Not only is he a great actor but he’s tough as nails. MTV : Did you have to do some physical training? Isaac : Believe it or not, my part actually required a great deal of actual acting, not just action. It’s a really cool sequence in the film. It’s a Western standoff kind of thing going on. MTV : Do you actually have a name in it? On IMDb you are listed as #3. Isaac : [ Dramatically ] I am #3. What are you waiting for? Your must-see movie needs your support. It’s time to show character, poise and heart. Vote for your picks now at MTV Movie Brawl 2012 ! Solange & Cassie Are V Magazine’s “Fearless Females” Of Music [PHOTOS]

See the article here:

Solange, Cassie, VV Brown and more ladies are featured in V magazine’s annual “Music Issue.” Named “Fearless Females” by the publication, the women discuss the recording process, sounds you’ll hear, and messages they want to deliver on their new albums. SOLANGE On her new album: There are a lot of songs about sex. It’s the kind of record you put on when your man is coming over, when you’re with your girls. There are songs that make you wanna dance because we were kind of partying our way through the record, but it’s very chill. My references for the record were all Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, not just their typical Janet and Prince stuff, but SOS Band and their b-sides with Chaka Khan. At first the songs were really dark because I had a premonition before the record that I was going to die. I was having panic attacks and wiling out. [But] I don’t need anyone telling me ‘this isn’t cool enough’ or anyone from the opposite end saying ‘this seems kind of weird.’ I’m lucky enough to have been in this business for so long that I know how it works. It’s not that hard. It’s not rocket science. On her new domestic role: Now being in a stable situation, sometimes that feels f**ked up within itself. I’ve been on the road my entire life since I was 13, even when I had my son he came on the road with me. Now that he’s in school where there is a real structure, we have to be home during those times. Being that grounded feels really foreign to me. Solange Goes Off On Twitter, Defends Beyonce & Baby! CASSIE On her new album: I have hundreds of songs recorded for this album. I’ve been working on it for a long time. Finally, I had to decide my direction. I felt kind of exposed when I stopped working in the studio. My friends would call me to hang out and I would say, ‘nope, going in the studio,’ and they’d say, ‘you’ve been in the studio for four years!’ At the time I made the record I went out to Ibiza and I really started to feel these jungle beats. But at the same time I wanted to keep the ‘Me and U’ tone, really simple and clean. I have a lot of friends who are DJs and they like to mix, so I like to leave a really clean skeleton with the vocal. In my video we called it ‘giving ’90s supermodel.’ It’s the perfect definition of who I am right now and what I’m going through. People aren’t going to expect me to come out with what I have.” Cassie Wears Next To Nothing In “King Of Hearts” Video [PREVIEW] VV BROWN On her new album: My second album has a message: it’s about my generation and things going on in the world, but I didn’t want it to come across preachy. I love writing upbeat songs with darker undertones. Sometimes you want to shy away from political things because people will tell you to leave that to the politicians, but I want my fans to hear a message that is about questioning the world and getting them to question what fame is. I find it difficult to even say the word ‘fan.’ We’re all the same. As a generation, let’s evolve and shift away from celebrity culture, I think it’s really unhealthy. Kanye West’s Ex Amber Rose: ‘I’m Sick Of Being Bullied’

Model, who just released ‘Fame’ single, says on ‘RapFix Live,’ ‘To be bullied through music … it’s not fair to me.’ By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Amber Rose on “RapFix Live” Photo: Natasha Chandel/ MTV News Amber Rose is done with the drama! On Tuesday On Tuesday the stately model crossed over into artist mode when she released her new pop single “Fame” online, then she showed off some acting chops when she dropped the trailer for her upcoming film “Gang of Roses 2” just a few hours later. Unfortunately for Amber, her new endeavors aren’t the only things that have people talking. Her relationship with Kanye West still comes under much scrutiny even though the pair has been broken up for a number of years. On Wednesday’s (January 11) episode of “RapFix Live,” Rose took to the red couch to address all of the rumors regarding her and Kanye for the last time. Things got so emotional that she eventually broke into tears. “Today on your show, I just want to let it be known that I am so done with the Kanye questions,” she told Sway. “That’s my past, I’m done with it. “I’m done, I’m moving on with a new career. I’m in love with Wiz. I’m happy. I just want to move on with my life, and we can get everything out right now and then I’m done.” Amber is currently in a relationship with Wiz Khalifa , but her past romance with West still comes up in headlines. Whether it was on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy , where many of the songs seemed to be directed at Rose, or the Throne’s November Philadelphia concert where Yeezy thanked Amber’s native city for making her, the two former lovers are still constantly linked. Rose made it clear that she is happily in love with Wiz. “I’m so happy now that I actually have a gentleman, a great guy that I love so much,” she said of Khalifa . “Wiz knows that I never loved a man the way that I love him. He knows that, he’s very secure with that.” Still, after her very public breakup with West, there is lingering pain when Rose is mistreated by people in public. “I have people throwing things at me in the street because they’re fans of Kanye,” Amber said before she started to cry on set. “I’m just crying because I don’t deserve to be bullied like that. I’m a nice girl, I don’t bother anybody. I keep my mouth shut because I don’t want any trouble.” Putting all of the drama behind her was step one. Now, Amber looks to focus on her music career and acting career. She is currently working on her debut album and the film “Gang of Roses 2,” which will be released on February 14. “To be bullied through music and stuff like that, it’s not fair to me,” Rose continued while sobbing. “I don’t deserve that, and I’m sick of being bullied.” What do you think of Amber Rose’s tearful revelation?
