Tameka Foster spoke out on her son’s death and the current custody court hearings for the first time today. To begin, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the countless number of people who opened their hearts, extended their prayers, well-wishes and remained hopeful for my son Kile during the last weeks of his life. I truly believe that he has always been an Angel from birth and the World was just too small to contain a spirit so vast. I’m thankful and blessed to merely be the vessel that carried him and humbled that God gave him to us to love. I also feel humbled by everyone’s show of concern, and knowing that Kile Glover touched the lives of so many has given me strength during my worst & darkest hour … Again I THANK YOU ALL! Sadly, I remain in the unfortunate position of having to respond to and attend court proceedings that were not initiated or begun by me. I did not file this custody case (January 2011) and was content with the ‘joint custody’ arrangement that we share. Most importantly, nor do I wish to appear in court while I am mourning the loss of my son. But I do not want to delay thus prolong these proceedings either; I’d rather continue this arduous process hoping it will help move me through this most difficult period in my life. People seem to be privy to only my filed responses as ‘Defendant’ to the initiation of this case (Jan 4, 2011), when I have only been defending myself and protecting the best interests of my children through my counsel. I cannot control how the media reports are written/slanted/spun or even how court documents may be manipulated in their attribution of certain statements as if they are direct “quotes” from me- yet I can control what I actually say myself. This may sound really cliché but you must NOT believe everything you read or hear and never judge… especially without solid facts and always, but always consider the source. Discernment is key. My boys are my entire world and I will fight tooth and nail to keep all of my sons together as a family, I pray for a swift, peaceful resolution so that we all can move forward. Janet Jackson Denies Slapping Paris Jackson Or Calling Her Expletive Janet Jackson is so upset over reports that she slapped her niece Paris and called her a lil beyotch that she’s considering suing the media outlet that first published the story: Last week, internet rumors surfaced concerning an alleged altercation between Janet Jackson and her niece Paris. Today, Janet Jackson’s attorney, Blair G. Brown, tells The Insider that Janet vehemently denies the altercation. “Ms. Jackson did not slap Paris, and did not call her a ‘spoiled little b!tch’ or a ‘b!tch,’” says Brown. According to Brown, Janet is threatening legal action towards the source that originally reported the claims. Brown says that the “false statements are highly damaging to Ms. Jackson’s reputation and have caused her significant harm.” Yesterday, attorneys for the estate of Michael Jackson confirmed to The Insider that Janet, Randy, Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson (and all of Katherine’s GRANDCHILDREN belonging to them) were prohibited from entering the Calabasas home shared by Paris, Prince, Blanket and Katherine Jackson “following the events of July 23 in which certain members of the Jackson family showed up unannounced at the Calabasas residence of Michael Jackson’s mother and children, causing a very public disturbance.” The attorneys for Michael Jackson’s estate did not elaborate on the nature of the disturbance and what exactly took place. The Jackson family feud has simmered down somewhat, but relations are still icy as four of Michael’s siblings are now banned from their mom’s house. Michael Jackson’s kids Prince, Blanket and Paris Jackson – subjects of a bizarre custody feud – are currently staying at Katherine Jackson’s L.A. home. The kids’ cousin and temporary guardian, T.J. Jackson, has been advised by lawyers for the Michael Jackson estate on who should not be allowed in . As such, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie and Janet Jackson have been 86’d. T.J.’s lawyer Charles Shultz says he’s instructed the security team accordingly and his actions are “in compliance” with a judge’s orders, not arbitrary. Those on the not-allowed list were either present on July 23 “or in some way participated in the events surrounding that date,” Shultz stated. It was then that Jermaine, Randy and Janet Jackson arrived at Katherine’s home and allegedly tried to physically remove Prince, Paris and Blanket. Randy, Jermaine, Janet and sister Rebbie Jackson have been accused by some of being motivated by money to separate Katherine from the kids. Michael’s will, which left his estate to his children and provided an ample allowance to their guardian (Katherine), obviously stands in their way. Since Michael’s death in 2009, Katherine Jackson had been receiving a monthly allowance of $86,000 as guardian of Prince, Paris and Blanket. For the time being, that sum goes to T.J. Jackson. While the four siblings behind the failed family coup aren’t allowed at the house, Shultz said they aren’t forbidden from contact with their mother: “In addition, Mrs. Jackson is completely free to talk to whomever she chooses and is free to come and go with anyone whom she chooses.” Katherine Jackson was reported missing July 22, triggering the latest chapter of this bizarre saga. Her whereabouts at that time are still unclear. Just prior to that, five of Katherine’s kids sent a letter alleging their mother is being mistreated by the executors of Michael Jackson’s estate. This triggered rumors that they even staged her kidnapping, but separating truth from fiction in this particular story is a difficult task indeed. In any case, Friday, Katherine’s attorney, Perry Sanders, told the Los Angeles Times that the 82-year-old had reunited with her grandchildren. He said of her splitting custody with T.J.: “[Katherine] is eager to enjoy her great relationship with these children, while deeding over some of the stressors that go with being a guardian.” While Katherine was initially “devastated’ to lose guardianship, a family insider tells E! that T.J.’s temporary guardianship “is good news.” “It is not about taking [guardianship] from Katherine. They are trying to protect the kids from the other family. T.J. didn’t step in to remove her.” “He stepped in because she is not there,” the source adds of the 34-year-old son of Tito Jackson. “He is extremely tight with his grandmother.” While La Toya Jackson urged the family yesterday to come to a truce and put this behind them, don’t expect the bad blood to end soon.

Chik-fil-A Public Relations VP Dies Of Heart Attack Amid Controversy Over Founders Stance Against Gay Marriage In the midst of a firestorm of controversy over the company founder’s stance on gay marriage , a publicity exec at Chik-Fil-A has died of a heart attack! The death of a prominent Chick-fil-A executive has sparked an onslaught of Twitter responses, with many linking the official’s passing to the fast food company’s recent controversies. Columbus Georgia’s WRBL News 3 reported that Donald A. Perry, the vice president of corporate public relations for Chick-fil-A, died of a heart attack July 27. “Don was a member of our Chick-fil-A family for nearly 29 years,” a company statement published in the Atlanta Journal Constitution read. “He was a well-respected and well-liked media executive in the Atlanta and University of Georgia communities, and we will all miss him.” News of Perry’s death, which was picked up by a number of high-profile media outlets, immediately generated heated debate on Twitter, perhaps not surprisingly given Chick-fil-A’s proclaimed anti-gay marriage stance, which has been the subject of countless headlines in recent weeks. “Okay, Chick-fil-A protesters, you win,” wrote one user. “You killed their head of PR. They’re for gay marriage now.” No doubt Perry was aware of what has become a public relations debacle for the Atlanta-based fast food chain, with both marriage equality supporters and opponents responding to the news in equal measure.
