Back in September, Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown checked himself into rehab after a family intervention. Now there is some very promising news that is sure to please the entire Brown family. Matt is out of rehab! RadarOnline reports that Matt Brown is freshly out of rehab, which he had entered to get a handle on his drinking. “Matt voluntarily checked himself out of rehab in late October,” reveals an insider close to the Brown family. “And,” the source shares. “He is continuing outpatient treatment at a nearby facility.” That is very good to know — sometimes, a relapse right after leaving rehab is a risk. Outpatient treatments can help provide continued support. “He is doing really good right now,” the insider says. “And,” the source elaborates. “He is committed to his sobriety.” “His family is very proud of him,” the insider adds. That is no surprise. Sobriety can be difficult to achieve. The Brown family loves and supports Matt and they know how difficult it can be to overcome a substance abuse issue. There’s more to leaving rehab than the support of your family — though that, of course, is important. “Matt has been attending recovery meetings,” the source says. The insider says that Matt has used these peer groups “and has been working with a sober coach.” We previously reported that Matt would hire a sober coach , even when he was still in rehab. A sobriety coach can provide one-on-one assistance that a support group often cannot. The source says that Matt is doing all of this “as well as going to therapy and counseling to battle his addictions.” It’s great that Matt is recovering and is on a path to avoid a relapse. The reason that he (once again) struggled with alcohol abuse was, as is usually the case, self-medication. It was explained that he started drinking as a “way to deal with his mother Ami’s cancer diagnosis.” There were times last year when everyone — including the Brown family — believed that Ami would die from lung cancer. The odds were stacked against her, but she defied all expectations. But the stress of her cancer battle — and the health scares that followed — exacted a toll on her loved ones, including Matt. As we previously reported, Matt Brown was feeling “ready to leave” after only a few weeks of rehab. “Matt thinks that he is ready to leave after 30 days and everyone is urging him to stay in,” a worried source revealed at the time. “He says that he is almost ready and can handle this on his own now,” that insider added. According to reports, he wisely remained until he had completed his 30-day stint. He was also sure to line up all of these safeguards so that he could continue to maintain his health. This was Matt’s second time having to fight an uphill battle to regain his sobriety. The first time was in 2016. At that time, he became more withdrawn and realized that his behavior and drinking were caught in a downward spiral. Sinead O’Connor has been a controversial figure for a few decades, now. She has recently converted to Islam and goes by Shuhada’ Davitt, but that is not the source of his latest controversy The issue is a tweet in which she says that she never wants to “spend time with white people” ever again. “I’m terribly sorry,” Sinead’s tweet begins. She continues: “What I’m about to say is something so racist I never thought my soul could ever feel it.” “But truly I never wanna spend time with white people again,” she writes. That is such a head-scratcher, but she does offer a strange definition of “white people.” In parentheses, she writes: “(if that’s what non-muslims are called).” We don’t claim to be experts in theology, but that word would probably be kafir , not “white people.” “Not for one moment, for any reason,” Sinead makes clear. “They are disgusting.” Regardless of her religious adherence, Sinead O’Connor is very, very white. Converting does not change that, and she’s hardly the only white Muslim — which makes her statement so much stranger. Unfortunately, that was only one tweet of many. Sinead followed up her controversial tweet: “Interesting to see if Twitter bans this when it allows people like Trump and Milbank spew the satanic filth upon even my country,” she wrote. Twitter has not, as of Wednesday afternoon, done anything of the sort to her tweet. On top of that, the 51-year-old folk singer seemed eager to get into heated religious discourse. “How come so called christian and jewish theologians,” her question begins. She interrupts herself to claim: “(the christian theologians being atheists and satanists actually in practice, though they know it not).” Sinead continues: “never talk about the smashing of their enemies babies heads on rocks which in all over their psalms?” What she means to ask is why don’t members of other Abrahamic faiths who claim that Islam is violent because of the Qur’an when their own holy books have similar content. She then promptly answers her own question. “BTW if one IS an intelligent theologian and has taken the journey,” she tweets. “One would know there is no more talk of ancient violence in the Q’ran as the Tanukh, the Bible, or The sodding Mahabarata,” she writes. The Tanakh (which stands for Torah, Neviim, and Ketuvim) is the holy book of the Jewish people, known as the Old Testament in Christianity. The Mahabharata is one of the oldest Sanskrit texts of India, and describes the Bharata dynasty. “And,” she concludes. “Its ALL EQUALLY IRELLEVANT TO OUR TIMES.” Which makes one wonder why she brought up old-timey scriptural violence in the first place. So, there are a few obvious things to unpackage. Her tweet isn’t racist , exactly, it’s just hostile, prejudiced, argumentative, and deeply confused. She is a white woman, in terms of what that term actually means. If she’d said that she didn’t want to hang out with non-Muslims ever again, that would be prejudiced and obnoxious. But remember that she has been making impulsive and sometimes offensive statements for decades. Just one year ago, Sinead O’Connor recorded a disturbing video in which she shared that she was suicidal. She probably converted in the hopes that it will bring her peace, but lashed out online because she cannot help herself. Sinead O’Connor has been an outspoken critic of organized religion for a very long time. Unfortunately, her confrontational approach is sometimes off-putting, even to those who share her views. At the end of her Twitter rant, she did at least acknowledge how bizarre her social media messages have been. “Final word,” she wrote. “If its ‘Crazy’ to care. Then by all means, spank my ass and call me Fruity loops : )” We hope that she is getting whatever help and support she needs in this time. Perhaps her newly found religious community can help. Scott Disick had a threesome with Kourtney Kardashian and Sofia Richie on Sunday night. But not in the way he has likely fantasized about for the past year or so. According to multiple outlets, Disick, his current girlfriend and his very serious ex dined together at Nobu in Los Angeles, leaving celebrity gossip followers around the globe asking one simple question: WHY?!? Why would Disick, his lover since last Septermber and the mother of his three kids share a meal? This is how an insider described the quasi date and the basis for it to E! News: “Scott, Sofia and Kourtney had dinner together at Nobu on Sunday and it was very amicable. “Scott and Sofia are very serious and Scott felt it was important that Sofia and Kourtney interact and bond.” For starters, this puts to rest talk that Richie and Disick had split after a very public fight. It would also seem to put to rest talk of Disick and Kardashian getting back together , although let’s be honest: That talk will never actually die. “They have kept things separate for over a year now, and Kourtney is now more open and willing to have a surface level relationship with Sofia,” adds this same E! source. Disick and Kardashian were together for nine years and have three kids: sons Mason, 8, and Reign, 3, and daughter Penelope, 6. They broke up when Kourtney finally had enough of Scott lying and drinking and maybe even cheating on him. Because they share multiple kids, however, and because they star together on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the exes remain rather close. We really must give them credit for seemingly always putting their roles as parents ahead of their awkward roles as former significant others. And this unexpected dinner appears to be another example of just that. Per a People Magazine mole, Kourtney “doesn’t necessarily care to get to know Sofia better, but she feels she needs to because of the kids.” “Sofia spends time with Kourtney’s kids, so Kourtney wants to make sure they are all on the same page,” says this source, adding: “Scott and Sofia tend to get into arguments. Kourtney wants to make sure the kids are in a positive environment when they are at Scott’s house. “She is setting up rules for how things needs to be when the kids are with Scott.” Another insider, meanwhile, says the dinner was “tense” and akin to a “business” meeting, which certainly makes sense. Kourtney, for her part, recently ended a fling with actor Luke Sabbat. She previously spent several months in the very handsome clutches of model Younes Bendjima. In March, Disick flew to Cabo with Richie and all three of his kids. On Sunday night’s long-awaited episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians , viewers witnessed the shocking moment when Khloe discovered that Tristan Thompson had cheated on her while she was pregnant with his baby. All of that happened back in April, but just like their fans, the members of the Kard clan were forced to relive the drama during this week’s episode . And not surprisingly, it seems no one had a harder time watching it all unfold than Tristan Thompson. According to Hollywood Life, Tristan watched the episode at Khloe’s behest and was appalled by the reminder of how much pain he had caused the mother of his child. “Tristan is full of regret after seeing how much he hurt not only Khloe but the whole Kardashian family by his actions,” a source tells the site. “After watching the latest episode of KUWTK, Tristan feels pretty horrible about what he put Khloe and her whole family through because of his poor decisions.” We know that in the past, Tristan has felt victimized and unfairly maligned by the Kardashians and their fans. Apparently, Khloe was correct in her theory that witnessing the aftermath of his cheating scandal would cause Thompson to realize he’s not the victim in all of this. It’s great that he finally came around, but the fact that he’s that emotionally stunted is a sure sign that Khloe needs to head for the hills. “Tristan feels like a jerk and feels like he never meant to hurt the ones he loves,” the source goes on. “He feels bad that he betrayed Khloe’s love and trust, especially during a critical time in their relationship, just as she was about to give birth to his baby.” Again, it’s great that he’s realizing he behaved like a complete POS, but why did it take him this long? The insider adds that Tristan “finally got to see how angry Kim and all the sisters had been at him” and that he now realizes he has several relationships to fix. “So he has been working hard to repair the damage done to not just Khloe but to everyone in the family.” And it seems like he’s making a good deal of progress on that front. It’s unclear how he’s doing with the rest of the family, but Kris Jenner has proven time and again that she’s very forgiving when it comes to deplorable behavior from her daughters’ boyfriends. Southern Charm is getting a bit of a casting shakeup, since Thomas Ravenel will stand trial for sexual assault . But what will become of Ashley Jacobs, who was a big enough player last season to be invited to the reunion without Thomas? She says that she’s reached a decision. Ashley Jacobs took to Instagram to share some news with her fans and followers. “After a lot of prayerful consideration, I have decided not to return to Southern Charm next season,” Ashley announced. That’s a bit of a disappointment — but probably the smart decision. “Honestly,” she reveals. “I considered filming again.” Ashley then shares that she thought about it “because I desperately want to tell my side of the story.” That could mean everything from her behavior last season to why she allegedly kept hanging out with Thomas long after he was accused of sexual assault. Ashley points the finger at one factor in particular that prevents her from returning to the show. “But after experiencing how unfair the editing process can be,” Ashley said. “I don’t think I’ll ever have a fair shot.” It is not uncommon for reality stars to say that bad editing shows them in an unfavorable light. That is even the excuse that Thomas himself used to explain his departure from the show. (Bravo has confirmed that they won’t have him back; they were investigating the same allegations that led to Thomas’ arrest) Ashley thanked her fans: “I appreciate you all following me throughout this journey.” But RadarOnline ‘s source says that Ashley returning to the series was never even an option. “Ashley was not a cast member,” the insider points out. She was always there as Thomas’ girlfriend. Reports said that she wasn’t paid for appearing on the show — except for her role on the reunion special. “So,” the source explains. “There would be no conversation of her returning or not.” Another insider accused: “She is not telling the truth.” As we previously reported, Us Weekly ‘s source said something very different. According to that tabloid, there was absolutely talk of bringing back Ashley. “They weren’t specific about what her role would be,” the insider said. “Since she doesn’t have a lot of people to film with.” “They wanted Ashley to work her way back into the friend circle,” the source explained. The insider admitted: “but there was just no guarantee that that would happen.” “Of course everyone wants to see Ashley talk to Kathryn,” the source acknowledged. The source said: “Ashley was in talks with Bravo and the producers.” That flies in the face of RadarOnline ‘s report. Curiously, both tabloids belong to the same parent company. “But,” the insider said, Ashley “didn’t feel like she could represent herself well enough with the way it was being presented to her.” That seems to match up with her statement about being concerned about editing. So, it’s difficult to say whose production source is right or wrong. However, it may be for the best that Ashley is saying goodbye to the series. When the world learned that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson were engaged , fans were immediately skeptical of the pairing. But even those who predicted that Pete and Ariana would break up had little idea that the relationship would end so quickly — or flameout so dramatically. But thankfully, it seems Pete and Ariana have both reached the decision to call a cease-fire. “They have no contact now and she keeps moving forward,” a source close to the situation tells People magazine. “She seems very happy and positive. She isn’t talking about dating and is instead focused on work and herself.” As for Davidson, the insider says the young comic is taking it all in stride. “Pete’s unfazed,” the source tells People. “It’s true they’re not in agreement about things after the breakup. “A lot of people thought he was the wild card in the relationship, but that’s not true. A Break-In YIKES: someone had broken into Meyer’s home in Kentucky, with everyone assuming the culprit was a stalker who had been targeting Sarah Palin and her loved ones ever since she ran for vice president. 3. Who is He? Bristol explained on air that the man, Shawn Christy, had been “in and out of jail,” but was now “on the run from the law.” This concerned Palin, of course, who figured the only reason the man broke into Dakota’s place was due to her. 4. A Decade-Long Threat “I’m by myself with the kids in a house in Texas, 4,000 miles away from pretty much everyone I know,” Palin told the camera. “I get maybe 4 hours of sleep as it is, I’ve had this constant threat for 10 years. Super scary.” We can only imagine. 5. Tension Mounts Bristol took a few self-defense classes and learned that the the U.S. Marshals, FBI and Secret Service were on the lookout for the stalker. According to Billboard the G.O.O.D. Music artist is slated to be the face of Wu-Tang Clan’s upcoming makeup line. Yes, you read that right. From the rugged lands of Shaolin will come a new limited edition lipstick collection courtesy of Milk Makeup and the Staten Island killer bees. Of course the first question on everyone’s mind is “How?” Well, the RZA has a simple explanation. “I have a great relationship with Milk’s founder, Rassi, and as New Yorkers, we’ve frequented some of the same circles. We spoke about fashion and the cosmetic world and I revealed that [Talani], my wife, has a cool perspective about makeup [because] in her youth, she was in the modeling circles,” said Wu-Tang’s RZA to Billboard. “She is a fan of Milk Makeup’s products and when [Rassi and I] talked about forming a collaboration that reflected our NYC sensibility and philosophy, makeup became the unique and unpredictable choice. The Milk Makeup collaboration was spearheaded by my wife.” Sounds about right. Naturally, the eight upcoming longwear lipsticks will bear the kind of labels that you’d expect from a Wu-Tang inspired collection. Each will be named after the I Ching Trigrams: Sacred, Fire, Chi, Flow, Frequency, Source, Cypher, and Ruckus. All lipsticks will come in different shades of pink and red and will be featured in high shine, nourishing matte and dimensional glitter. Known for having completely vegan products, Milk is taking their collaboration with the Wu to the next level and including some Chinese-inspired ingredients such as sacred lotus water, cherry blossom, ginseng, bamboo shoots, and Chinese red dates that will help protect, hydrate, and soothe the lips upon application. Adding to the lipstick’s mystique will be the cases it will come in as they’ll be encased in solid black bullets, which is a stark contrast to Milk’s typical white, gray, and clear packaging. When you open up the bullet, a gold dragon wraps around the stick.
