Kris Jenner Claims Kim Kardashian Didn’t Profit From Wedding, Fails to Understand Basic Finance

Kris Jenner is spinning faster than a dreidel this week. The manager of the Kardashian family is making every media round possible in order to maintain the good name of her brand daughter in light of Kim Kardashian’s speedy divorce from Kris Humphries. Jenner – who just happened to release a memoir yesterday – wants the public to stop judging , and to also understand her strange idea of finances. Kim Kardashian is all about making money with her mouth: first with Ray J, now at a milkshake store in Dubai. Appearing on The Today Show , Kris did some shady math and claimed Kim and Kris “made some money for the pictures that were sold and things like that, but at the end of the day, that money went towards the wedding.” Ummm… so what? That’s still making money. They just chose to spend it on a wedding. On The View , meanwhile, Jenner said her daughter “definitely made money,” but, again, tried to justify the profit by explaining what it went toward. Unless it went toward a muzzle, why does that point matter. In the end? “It’s a tough time for the family and for Kim and for everyone involved,” Jenner said. “It’s really hard to go through this on such a public stage.” Hmmm… here’s an idea then: GET OFF THE PUBLIC STAGE.

Dr. Conrad Murray Shopping Documentary Film

Just hours before closing arguments in Dr. Conrad Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial, a documentary about the embattled physician is being shopped to networks . Murray, who faces up to four years in prison in the death of Michael Jackson, has been a part of filming the documentary since being charged earlier this year. Dr. Murray, as we know, has decided not to take the stand at his trial, but has given long in depth interviews to the film crew … for whatever that’s worth. “This project has been in the works since Murray’s arrest,” says a source. “It was originally conceived to help him get his reputation back following the case.” “However, another primary driving force of it is to generate money so that Murray can pay his lawyers and experts,” the source close to Murray confided. The N.Y. Post broke the story and says Dr. Conrad Murray is hoping the documentary will earn at least a million dollars. That may be wishful thinking. Our source says, “Dr. Murray and his lawyers were hoping it would sell for a million, but it looks like the max a network would pay is around $250K.” If Dr. Murray is convicted, that price could go up … or down. Closing arguments are set to begin tomorrow morning at 9.

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama are totally back on again. Or at least they were for one night. Onlookers tell Life & Style that this seemingly random couple – who were an alleged item earlier this year – showed up together on October 22 at a party hosted by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane… and were all over each other! “They showed up together and made no effort to hide that they’re back together,” an witness tells the tabloid . “They were stealing kisses throughout the night, holding hands and just seemed to enjoy being together.” Valderrama, 31, has dated pretty much every young woman in Hollywood, from Lindsay Lohan to Mandy Moore to Jennifer Love Hewitt. But that appears to make no difference to Lovato, 19, who this source says “couldn’t seem happier” about the fling. The mole details: “They were dirty-dancing to the music, and when they were seated, Wilmer had his hands on Demi’s knee the entire time. Rumor has it that there was a geek fight in Beverly Hills last night… Tech titans Mark Zuckerberg and Sean Parker had a huge public bust-up outside a Hollywood nightclub over Facebook’s role in new music venture Spotify. Billionaire Facebook creator Zuckerberg and Napster co-founder Parker, who has launched music streaming service Spotify, got into a boozy fight over the new venture at West Hollywood club The Beverly earlier this month. Sources tell us the pair, whose complicated relationship was highlighted in “The Social Network,” got into an alcohol-fueled argument over Facebook’s partnership deal with Spotify. One source told us, “Sean and Mark had done the big Spotify launch and headed to The Beverly to party. They spent a lot of money on alcohol, and as the night went on they got into an intense discussion, which turned into a loud argument as they left.” According to the witness, “Sean argued that all Spotify users should not be forced to sign up for a Facebook account, but Mark wouldn’t budge. It was a full on screaming match outside the club, but stopped short at coming to blows. They then stormed off in different directions.” The partnership has boosted Spotify subscribers but irked some who don’t want their music choices broadcast on Facebook. Another source said, “Sean gets very intense and can be loud. These guys have been through a lot together. They have passionate discussions and strong opinions. The insider says Kopelman, 34, has been thinking about marrying Drew , 36, and could pop the question “around the one-year mark of their dating” this winter. “He’s madly in love and knows she’s The One, but he just needs a bit more time,” another source dishes. Mmm hmm. You best move it before you lose it, W-Kop. The art consultant understands that he can’t wait that long. While Ali Fedotowsky has blamed the postponements on scheduling conflicts and a bad kickboxing injury, “pals” say their issues run way deeper than that. “Their relationship has been tumultuous since day one,” a mutual friend says of the pair, whose nuptials were supposed to be an ABC Bachelorette special. Due to both of them working long hours and other stresses taking their toll on the couple, “They’re either extremely happy or can’t stand each other.” “They bring out the worst in each other,” the source adds, noting that after one spat, “Ali was in tears … she’s miserable in the relationship and he is too.” For what it’s worth, Ali seemed very happy in her interview with THG this summer, and this is the first we’ve heard of any strife between them. The two raised many an eyebrow at Jason Scoppa’s weekly live show at the Sayers Club in Hollywood: “They were pretty cozy. Definitely playful and flirty.” “They were close to each other,” the source explained of LC and DH. “He had his arm around her waist. They were dancing and also holding hands.” When they left, celebrity news photographers snapped away, but the two didn’t stand too close together. A security guy also tried to block the shots. Lauren Conrad most recently ended a long relationship with actor Kyle Howard in June, while Hough was linked to former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.
