Despite the fact that Tarek and Christina El Moussa’s divorce was anything but amicable, it seems the couple has managed to mostly patch up their differences in order to work out an amicable co-parenting relationship. Of course, Tarek may have just flushed all that goodwill down the toilet with one boneheaded blunder that might have been an intentional act of malice. As you may have heard, Christina has gotten re-married to a dude named Ant Anstead, who is amazingly not Antman’s alter-ego. Not only that, Christina and Ant are expecting a child together — and it sounds like everyone is pretty psyched about it. Obviously, Christina and Ant are excited, and it seems their joy is shared by Christina’s kids from her marriage with Tarek, and even Tarek himself is happy for the newlyweds. In fact, Ant couldn’t STFU about his ex’s big news during a recent interview with TMZ Live . “I’m excited for her new chapter in life,” he began, innocently enough. “And they’re a great couple and I really do hope the best for them.” So things started out on a positive note, but they quickly took a turn for the idiotic: “She’s remarried, she’s actually pregnant, everyone knows that,” Tarek added. “She’s having a son. My kids are super excited.” Yeah, that’s great that he’s so happy for his ex, but there’s one problem with Tarek’s statements: Christina and Ant had not yet revealed the baby’s gender, and they were likely planning to do so in the form of a lucrative exclusive with People magazine or some such outlet. The couple has thus far remained quiet on the subject of Christina’s ex ruining their surprise and screwing them out of a payday, but one of their reps issued a statement to People that can only be described as downright icy: “While Christina and Ant wished they could have shared the news themselves, they are very excited to welcome a baby boy in the fall,” said the insider. Yikes. Did anyone else get a chill down their spine reading that? Clearly, Christina is none too thrilled with her ex’s revelation, but fortunately, these two are no longer working together. Tarek recently announced that he’ll be breaking away from Christina for an as-yet-untitled HGTV show in which he “partners with real estate novices to help them learn the secrets of a successful flip.” “[Christina and I] have been working together so long, and we’re just so intertwined with all our businesses and all our shooting that it’s kind of refreshing to go off on my own now and try some new opportunities,” Tarek told TMZ. Tristan Thompson: DITCHING Baby True on Her First Birthday?!

Folks, we really didn’t think it was possible, but it looks as though Tristan Thompson may have just sunk to a new low. By now you’ve probably heard that Tristan was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian twice, and both instances took place under appalling circumstances. The first time, Khloe was pregnant with Tristan’s child. The second time — after she had naively taken him back — Tristan cheated with Jordyn Woods , the best friend of Khloe’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner. How, you may be asking yourself, is it possible for Tristan to mess with Khloe’s life any more than he already has? Why, by being a deadbeat dad, of course! To be clear, no one is accusing Tristan of stiffing Khloe on child support. Though his team often looked more like a bunch of D-league rejects this season, the Cavs are still an NBA franchise, and Tristan makes a good salary playing for them. But it seems that Tristan is dropping the ball in a different way by failing to be present for the major milestones in baby True’s life. True will celebrate her first birthday this week, and it seems Tristan is planning to be MIA for the occasion. His basketball season is over, so Tristan can’t blame his absence on work. Instead, he’s chalking it up — and we can’t believe we’re about to say this — to his intense fear of his baby mama’s family. “Tristan does not want to set foot near Khloe’s family because he knows how much they all despise him right now,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “Khloe doesn’t even want Tristan to see True, regardless of what she says.” So we guess the silver lining is that Khloe gets to enjoy the day with her daughter, and her douchey baby daddy won’t be there to spoil the memory. Still, it’s absurd that a grown-ass man is missing his daughter’s first birthday party because he’s worried about getting dirty looks from Kris Jenner. “Tristan does not want to be there for the party because he does not want to get reamed all over again,” says the source. “He’s going to do what he always does, which is try to make up for missing out by buying True expensive gifts.” And sadly, he’s probably establishing the pattern that he and True will follow for the remainder of their relationship as father and daughter. He’ll do something selfish or negligent; she’ll get angry; he’ll buy her off with expensive gifts, and the cycle will continue. NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey: BOTH Fired by Bravo?!?

Can you believe that Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is already winding down to a close? What changes will Season 12 bring? Given the way that  NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey have clashed , viewers know that things between them have become untenable. Is Bravo going to clear the air by firing both NeNe  and  Cynthia? Who could possibly replace them? RadarOnline   reports that everyone involved is very conscious of this fierce new feud. Ultimately, it will just be in the hands of Bravo execs — but producers already know what they’re not going to do. “NeNe is coming back,” an insider assures. “She’s had a rough season,” the source acknowledges. “But,” the insider affirms. “She is the one that Bravo wants.” NeNe has had a lot to deal with, including Gregg Leakes’ cancer and her own meltdown that was captured on film. “Unless NeNe decides on her own not to do the show,” the source begins. The insider continues: “they will have her back.” “And,” the source teases, Bravo will even “give her a raise.” She already raked in $2.75  million  actual dollars for Season 11. But while NeNe’s place remains secure, the report cannot say the same for her former friend. “Execs are still considering firing Cynthia,” the insider reveals. That would be a significant shake-up to the cast. If they do go that route, they already know who will fill the void created by Cynthia’s departure. The source announces that execs would follow by  “bringing Marlo [Hampton] on full time.” “She could get married and have a baby,” the insider suggests. Speaking of execs, the source notes: “and they would like that.” But storyline potential — and it really is just  potential  at this point — isn’t all that Marlo has going for her as a potential Full Housewife. “She stirs the pot,” the insider observes. “She’s fun,” the source characterizes. “And makes for great TV.” There’s one person who definitely won’t return to the show’s roster, no matter how many fans she has. “The executives hate Kenya still,” the insider reveals. Hate ?! Hate is a strong word. “And they know that she was trying to capitalize on her free appearance for publicity when she showed up at Cynthia’s party,” the source says. Well … yeah. The insider concludes: “Kenya is definitely never, ever, ever coming back.” This report contains what may be some extremely good news for NeNe Leakes. A continued role on the show and a raise? That’s the dream. But we must stress that the contents of this report have yet to be confirmed. This could be the opinion of someone who works on the show’s production. That’s a far cry from an official announcement. And even if this report is true, it’s no guarantee that Cynthia Bailey is losing her peach. Prince William Works to Bury Cheating Rumors as Affair Scandal Threatens to Erupt

If you’ve been tracking the royal gossip these past few days, you know that Kensington Palace has been working hard to bury a story that simply refuses to go away. It all started with reports of a feud between Kate Middleton and her former friend, Rose Hanbury , the Marchioness of Cholmondeley. This developed into reports that William was having an affair with Hanbury . And there’s no greater indication that a piece of royal gossip has at least some basis in fact than a royal campaign to make sure it never sees the light of day. In that sense, William shot himself in the foot when he appealed to his journalist friend Richard Kay to print a story denouncing the rumors. In the week since, he may have made the situation worse by taking legal action against British media outlets who have continued to cover the affair. The Daily Beast is reporting today that at least one UK publication has received a sternly-worded letter from William’s preferred law firm of Harbottle and Lewis. “In addition to being false and highly damaging, the publication of false speculation in respect of our clients’ private life also constitutes a breach of his privacy pursuant to Article 8 of the European Convention to Human Rights,” the letter reads, in part. “The use of a legal letter by William as a future king is very much a move of last resort,” says Duncan Larcombe, former royal editor of the Sun . “If the stories of Kate freezing Rose out are true then whatever caused the falling out must have been very serious.” In his comments to The Daily Beast , Larcombe adds: “While traditionally, the British royal family would not take specific legal action — he old saying was ‘never complain and never explain’ — William and Harry are willing to do it in their own way.” Further complicating the situation is the fact that the British tabloid press is apparently in the habit of using coded language so as to convey privileged information to those in the know, while at the same time protecting themselves from a legal standpoint. “If you’ve been following the latest Kate Middleton hoo-hah but have been at a loss to understand what a ‘rural rivalry’ is, it’s Fleet Street’s way of hinting at the long-standing society rumor that Prince William has been caught [having an affair],” says a writer for Popbitch, which the Beast describes as “a showbiz industry newsletter.” Meanwhile, a report from Grazia claims that Kate is deeply upset to find her personal life the subject of continued gossip.  “Kate doesn’t do arguments. If you upset her she freezes you out,” one insider claims. “There are very few leaks about what really goes on in the Cambridge household or their marriage, other than to say it’s a solid and happy one,” the source adds. “All of the speculation about this alleged falling out between Rose and Kate will have been upsetting for Kate. She won’t like being the subject of gossip, and neither will William, who is a very private person.” The insider adds that Kate and Will were initially able to laugh at the rumors, but are now finding it difficult to do so. “For the most part, Kate pays no attention to gossip and rumours and while I think they laughed it off at first, the fact this is still being talked about will, I imagine, unsettle them,” says the source. Another tipster adds that Will and Kate selected Norfolk — home to Rose Hanbury and her much older husband — as the center of their social circle specifically because it’s “a very ungossipy place.” We think it’s safe to say that’s no longer the case. Jussie Smollett is About to Be Sued By the City of Chicago

Jussie Smollett may not be prosecuted for almost definitely staging his own attack on the streets of Chicago a few months ago. But this doesn’t mean the polarizing Empire star is finished with the legal system. According to TMZ, Smollett will soon be sued by the Windy City itself and may effectively even go on trial for his role in the January 27 “assault.” As you must know by now, this word has been placed in quotation marks because Smollett is accused of staging an assault against… himself. He claimed several weeks ago that two white men screamed racial and homophobic epithets at him, while also saying he was living in “MAGA country,” prior to beating him up and tying a rope around his neck. The star even alleges that doused him with bleach. After being the subject of sympathy from basically everyone in America, Smollett quickly turned into the subject of scorn and derision. Because it started to become clear that he actually concoted this entire story. Smollett was even arrested and charged with multiple felonies related to falsifying a police report. The Chicago Police Department subsequently held a press conference in which it trashed the actor for wasting its time and resources. However, on March 26, Smollett was cleared of all charges . The city’s Mayor still thinks he’s very guilty, however, and even the lawyer who chose to set him free has said there’s mounting evidence that points to Smollett’s guilt… it just didn’t seem worthwhile to prosecute him. While observers remain stunned and confused over the development, Chicago is now trying to hold Smollett at least somewhat liable. As previously reported, the City of Chicago recently fired off a letter to Jussie’s people, demanding $130,000 for the cost of investigating the case.  Smollett scoffed at such a request, but Chicago isn’t giving up. Per TMZ, the city had to wait seven days before filing a civil lawsuit against the actor — and now that the week is up, it has every intention of moving forward with this action. Says a spokesperson for the City of Chicago: “Mr. Smollett has refused to reimburse the City of Chicago for the cost of police overtime spent investigating his false police report on January 29, 2019. “The Law Department is now drafting a civil complaint that will be filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Once it is filed, the Law Department will send a courtesy copy of the complaint to Mr. Smollett’s L.A. based legal team.” Apparently Chicago can ask for up to $390,000 from Smollett, three times what the investigation cost. In order to win and receive this payout, the City must prove that it’s more likely than not that Jussie faked the “attack.” This, in effect, will place Jussie on trial before an administrative law judge. And the burden of proof will NOT be to find him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Are things about to get ugly in very public fashion again? It sounds that way. Smollett has “no plans on paying investigative costs being outrageously demanded,” an insider tells Us Weekly. Instead, the source suggests that “the Chicago Police Department should be investigating the way this matter was mishandled from the beginning.” Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, though, is pissed. We doubt he’s going to let this issue go. In an earlier statement, he referred to Smollett getting cleared as a ” whitewash of justice ,” wondering what kind of terrible human being exploits actual hate crimes in the manner Smollett allegedly did here. “When Smollett does pay the city back on just what the taxpayers have fronted, in that memo section [of the check], he can write, ‘I’m sorry and I’m accountable for what I’ve done,'” Emanuel said in a press conference late last month, concluding as follows: It’s just wrong. … Does he have no decency? Olivia Jade Giannulli Enters Hiding, Cuts Ties With Parents Amid College Bribery Scandal

Weeks after the world learned that several well-heeled parents were ensnared by Operation Varsity Blues, the college admissions bribery scandal continues to make headlines. And of course, the public’s continued interest in the story is much to the chagrin of its principal players, including 19-year-old social media influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli. Olivia is the daughter of Full House actress Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli. Loughlin was among those arrested in connection with the scandal, and she stands accused of paying out $500,000 in bribes and participating in a scheme to convince the USC admissions board that her daughters are elite athletes. From the start, Olivia was one of the most high-profile participants in the scandal, not only because of her massive social media following, but also because she was upfront about the fact that she had no interest in attending college and was doing so only to appease her parents. As such, she became a sort of poster child for privilege and entitlement, but in the weeks since news of the scandal broke, some observers have reevaluated Olivia’s role and begun to consider her a victim rather than a perpetrator. These days, Olivia has dropped out of USC and is reportedly in hiding at her boyfriend’s house. Giannulli lost her deal with Sephora , as well as several other high-profile sponsorships, and insiders say she fully blames her overbearing parents. “Olivia has been staying with her boyfriend in Malibu. She’s not talking to her parents right now,” one source tells Us Weekly. “Olivia hasn’t been out with friends. She is completely in hiding right now,” the source continues. “Olivia is posting private stories on her Instagram, using the only-close friends option, to share her days on social media with her close circle.” In keeping with what we’ve been hearing so far, the source confirms that Giannulli is royally pissed at her parents and blames them for destroying her career as an influencer. “A lot of Olivia’s friends have been telling her not to be mad at her parents since they were just trying to do the best they could for her, but she doesn’t listen,” the source reveals. “Olivia feels she is the victim.” Cheer up, Olivia. It’s been over a month since Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian with Jordyn Woods — which means it’s time for reports of Tristan begging for forgiveness. As someone who plays for the Cleveland Cavs, Tristan knows a thing or two about longshot odds. Of course, even though a playoff berth for the Cavs is statistically impossible at this point, the team still has a better chance of besting the Warriors in the NBA Finals than Tristan does of winning Khloe back. But apparently, that won’t stop him from giving it his all! According to a new report from Radar Online, Khloe recently informed her family that Tristan is “trying desperately to win her back.” We’re sure they were thrilled to hear it. What could go wrong?! “Khloe is telling her family that Tristan wants her back and he won’t stop sending her gifts,” an insider tells Radar. “Tristan is telling her that he is still madly in love with her and that he is really sorry for what he did.” We suppose there’s nothing surprising about that. Understandably upset, Khloe’s family has been using the adjective that most aptly describes Tristan’s behavior — gross. “She is so hung up on Tristan that he is literally all she talks about. It is just gross,” says the insider. Despite that troubling report, we just can’t imagine that Khloe would actually take Tristan back. Sure, he’s the father of her child, and she’s proven to have quite a weak spot for him. But the consequences of a reconciliation would be severe. For one thing, Khloe’s family would practically disown her. On top of that, the public would be just as repulsed by her decision as her mother and sisters seem to be.
