Katy Perry broke up with singer-songwriter John Mayer in February but she’s reportedly still “devastated” over the separation, a new report suggests. She was visibly upset when he moved out, and has even been seeing a hypnotherapist since the break-up to allegedly try and “retrain her brain.” An insider told Grazia : “Katy was devastated … they had talked about marriage and she seemed to think he was a changed man, so she is beyond gutted.” Alas, he supposedly cheated with Lauren McHale . What’s a girl to do now? “Katy is a firm believer in alternative therapies and she wants to wipe him away from her life for good, so she decided to see a hypnotherapist.” “She doesn’t want to find him attractive anymore,” the source added. Wait … so John Mayer is such addictive sexual napalm that you need a shrink to tell you not to bang him anymore? Come on Katy … you’re better than that. At the same time, at least she’s committed to going a different route. Even if that route includes dating Riff Raff once, we can respect it. According to Hollywood Life: Though no one expects prison time to be a breeze, Chris Brown is hitting some unexpected issues during his jail stay. A source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Chris has quickly become the center of ridicule — some inmates have yelled at Chris and called him derogatory names like ”b***h,” specifically for putting his hands on Rihanna. The 24-year-old rapper is currently serving time in Mens Central jail in Los Angeles for violating his probation and he’s now understanding just how hard life is behind bars. And while the singer has publicly apologized for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, some inmates think he has yet to pay the price for his unmanly actions. “One inmate said in passing ‘you a b***h for hitting Rihanna,’” Chris is doing his best not to listen to the banter, however, it does make him “extremely upset” when he hears such sentiments. On top of all that, Breezy isn’t getting any respect in jail. He gets no street cred in his orange jump suit and some fellow inmates think he’s a wannabe rapper, the source also says. “They be saying other stuff too, like ‘you ain’t no rapper, you’re a whack R&B singer,’” the source continues. “They’re in there trying to break him down.” Iyanla nor Dr. Phil can help him. Rich Couple Received Welfare Benefits How long did they think they could trick the government before the jig was up? According to Raw Story: A Minnesota couple who owned a yacht, rented a luxurious home on Lake Minnetonka, and had about $3 million in the bank has been charged with welfare fraud. Authorities said Andrea and Colin Chisholm misled benefit workers for years as they cashed more than $167,000 in welfare checks for food, medical bills, and job training between 2005 and 2012. They had received benefits from Minnesota agencies while living for two years in Florida, reported the Minnesota Star Tribune, where they also obtained welfare benefits. Medica fraud investigators suspected wrongdoing when they learned the couple lived in a lakeside home and had spent part of their $60,000 in medical claims for massages and spa visits. Freeman said “Lord and Lady Chisholm” had been cut off at one point but managed to get back into the welfare system. If they’re convicted, the couple faces a maximum 20-year prison term and $100,000 fine, but the charge also carries the possibility of probation – although Freeman doubted a judge would allow them to avoid prison. But first authorities must find the couple, who vacated their home and pulled their son from school. Investigators believe they’ve gone somewhere warm, if not out of the country entirely. Writing songs and working out, the source says, while telling folks on the phone that he’s been scared straight and will never “f-ck up again.” We’ll believe that when we see it. But there may be hope yet for Brown: he’s negotiating to pay off his alleged assault victim in D.C. in order to make that case goes away.
