The news follows the surprise announcement of the ‘Superstar KO’ mode, a new co-op experience that promises “shorter games and bigger action.” As described by EA, the new game mode is a fresh, simpler, faster, and modern way to play Madden. It not only features the NFL’s best in 3v3 action but will feature Lil Yachty and DJ Khaled as coaches of their own squads in the game. Madden players can partake in casual matchups against each other and steal their opponent’s players as well. The legendary comic had zero shows planned when the news broke, but would later reveal that things wouldn’t remain that way much longer. Murphy discussed hosting Saturday Night Live on Netflix’s Present Company with Krista Smith this coming December when he tried to casually drop that he was going on tour. “And then next year in 2020 I’m going to go on the road and do some stand-up,” he explained. It remains to be seen if the tour will be taped specifically for a Netflix special, but we can expect the special to come sometime after his tour. Eddie Murphy was a frequent cast member on SNL , but it was his epic stand-up specials that gained him a lot of his notoriety, and ultimately legend status. With a stand-up tour appearing to be on the horizon, along with a return to SNL , Murphy looks to be primed and ready for a comeback to revitalize his legendary comedy career. Possibly even more exciting is the long-awaited Coming to America sequel, which will see Murphy and Arsenio Hall both reprising their roles from the 1988 comedy classic. Coming 2 America is set to hit theaters on Dec. 18, 2020.

In the midst of everything she’s gone through, music has been a solace. And when your father’s R. Kelly, things can get rough. Abi explained when her father’s “sins” started seeping into her own life. “At home it’s normal, you’re living a life with your parents; your dad and mom aren’t going to go into all the bad things that might be going on outside of home,” she said, “but kids in school don’t necessarily care. Fifth and sixth grade is when I started learning the sore part of it, the not so good part. I think that was the hardest part for me because for so long I went with this image of who my dad (was) and what my family (was).” When her classmates started telling her stories about her own father, Abi said there were times when she considered suicide. The two collaborated on a song called “Wanna Be There.” It appeared on Kelly’s 2015 album The Buffet. “At that time I was in a place where I was genuinely trying to have a relationship with my father. But it was so complicated at that time, as it always is. It was a great experience, I’m glad that I did it, but it just wasn’t like what everybody assumed, and that’s the part that sucks. It wasn’t this big kumbaya moment.” If it didn’t happen then, the likelihood of it happening now with R. Kelly being in jail as he awaits his trial in April is unlikely.
