Behind The Scenes: Offset Preps New Car Series Called ‘Skrrt with Offset’

According to Deadline , Kiari “Offset” Cephus will be leading a new series for the mobile video platform Quibi called Skrrt with Offset. He will talk with high-profile guests in pop culture about their rides and the personal stories behind them. Offset is a car aficionado as well, so it should make for some entertaining T.V. The show is the product of STXtelevision and Scott Weintrob , the creator of the Netflix hit show Fastest Car and the director of the Emmy award-winning Top Gear. “We are excited to be partnering with Quibi on our second new series for the platform,” explained Jason Goldberg, Chief Creative Officer of STX Entertainment’s New Media Group & Alternative Content. “The team is forward-thinking and genuinely looking for new programming that you won’t find anywhere else. As producers, we look forward to working with Offset and creating shows that will be fun, memorable and will feature rides that take insanity to the next level of superfandom in the world of the coolest cars.” Offset is also excited about the project, saying: “Quibi will give me a chance to connect with my fans in yet another way. They don’t know how much I know about cars for real. This platform will let them see there is more to me than just buying cars.” Skrrt, skrrt indeed.

‘Game Of Thones’ Spin-Off ‘House of the Dragon’ Coming To HBO

Source: HBO Game of Thrones fans who are still lamenting over the final season of the hit HBO show might find this news welcoming. During its big HBO Max presentation, the company announced the new spin-off House of the Dragon . HBO saved the best for last during the presentation revealing the prequel to Thrones will be produced by George R.R. Martin and Ryan Condal and will be based on Fire & Blood. The show will take place 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones. Fans will also be elated to learn that Miguel Sapochnik, who directed the “Battle of the Bastards” episode, which is considered by most GOT fans as the best one, will serve as co-showrunner. He will also be directing the pilot and additional episodes, so that should curb any fears still lingering from the final season. Plus, David Benioff and D. B. Weiss will not be attached to this show in any capacity. When it premieres, we will be getting 10 episodes and will serve as a part of Sapochnik’s overall deal to develop shows for HBO and HBO Max — the company’s new streaming service that will cost $14.99 — when it launches in May 2020. In a statement about HBO programming president, Casey Bloys spoke on the new show stating: “The  Game of Thrones universe is so rich with stories. We look forward to exploring the origins of House Targaryen and the earlier days of Westeros along with Miguel, Ryan, and George.” The announcement of House of the Dragon came on the heels of HBO reportedly shelving another GOT prequel starring Oscar-nominee Naomi Watts, Naomi Ackie, and Denise Gough. #GameOfThrones ' George R.R. Earl Sweatshirt Announces Seven-Track ‘Feet Of Clay’ Project

Now aiming to release his fourth studio project titled Feet Of Clay , the California wordsmith aims to solidify his rightful place as one of the elite writers in Hip-Hop. Coming just about a year after the excellent Some Rap Songs album, Feet Of Clay is a seven-song project consisting of production from Alchemist and East Oakland producer Overkast along with the talented Los Angeles beatmaker, Swarvy also placed his touch on the release according to this tweet . Giunta / Getty Tamron Hall Denies Selling Cocaine After Producers Scrub Her Confession From The Show According to Daily Mail , ABC producers had to axe a portion of Tamron Hall ‘s talk show after she confessed to viewers she used to ‘facilitate’ selling cocaine when she was a teenager. Audience members were blown away during Tuesday’s taping when she reportedly admitted to ‘facilitating’ the sale of the drug with her college boyfriend. Production then had to scramble to cut it from the pre-recorded program. Hall released a statement: “I never dealt drugs” and said that a segment of her show was edited out due to “legal reasons. During an interview with Prison Rights Advocate Topeka Sam, I shared a story about a bad situation I got myself into when I was 19. I never dealt drugs,” said Hall. I am now nearly 50 years old and was reflecting on a bad judgement call that could have turned worse,” the talk show host explained. “I say but for the grace of God, there go I. “It was part of an open and honest conversation about women, incarceration and mistakes made,” she continued. “For legal reasons a portion of that segment was edited from the show. I hope my show can be a forum for sharing stories without shame or judgement — including a conversation we’re having Friday on opioid addiction.” Hall’s new ABC talk show, Tamron Hall , premiered last month, marking the first time that she returned to daytime television after leaving Today  two years ago.

Hate Or Hearsay? Ex-Employee’s Lawsuit Claims Rosario Dawson’s Mother Attacked Him With Transphobic Violence

Ortega / Getty Rosario Dawson’s Ex-Employee Sues Her Family For Transphobic Attack A transgender man who used to work for Rosario Dawson has filed a lawsuit claiming that he was abused and attacked violently by her mother a fit of transphobic rage. According to TMZ , Dedrek Finley, formerly known as Deidre, says he moved from NYC to LA in 2017 at the request of Rosario’s mother Isabel. Dedrek had been a family friend for years but had not told the Dawsons that he was trans until he arrived in California. Dedrek says that Rosario’s family, namely Isabel, her husband Gregory, and brother Gustavo, weren’t really feeling the trans lifestyle and allegedly made jokes about him and used the incorrect pronouns. He claims that he repeatedly told Rosario but she didn’t do much to put an end to the abuse. He claims Rosario also engaged in transphobic abuse because when Dedrek complained, Rosario allegedly said, “You’re a grown woman.” He claims he corrected her, but she replied, “Whatever.” Dedrek was living rent-free in a guest house on Rosario’s property and was charged with doing renovations. After the relationship with the family went left, he was told he had to move out. Dedrek alleges that Isabel knocked on his door on April 28, 2018 to talk but when he refused she threaten to kill his cat. Isabel also allegedly ripped a screen off a window, pulled him out through it, and began to beat him screaming, “You’re not so much of a man now.” He says Rosario then yelled, “Mom, stop being petty.” He says he thought she was coming to his defense, but instead he claims Rosario helped pin him so her mother could continue the beatdown. Dedrek also claims that one of the women took his cell phone possibly to delete a video that he had of Isabel threatening him and to stop him from calling the cops. At some point the police were contacted and a restraining order was placed against Isabel. His lawsuit checks assault, battery, trespass, discrimination, civil rights and labor violations as grievances for which he is seeking damages. No word from Rosario’s people about these incidents. Cory Booker’s people have got to be SHOOK.

The Ironman arc-ending movie has blown well past what every previous film made EVER in terms of revenue and continues to grow slowly every single day. Now that Endgame’s moment is coming to an end it’s time to move on and keep the MCU storyline pushing. To the surprise of many, it was announced that Chris Hemsworth would return to his role as Thor for an unprecedented fourth feature film. While many are excited and anticipating the 2021 release of Thor: Love & Thunder , the team at Marvel Studios is stuck making the biggest decision post Endgame: Do you keep Thor in the fat aesthetic he debuted in Endgame or return Chris Hemsworth to his lady-pleasing ripped body, which happens to be his natural state. Recently the director of the upcoming film Taika Waititi sat down with Yahoo to discuss the big question on everyone’s mind. While he’s working on the finishing touches for the script, he and Marvel still have no idea which direction to take Thor’s body. “This is an ongoing debate that we’re still having at Marvel,” Waititi told us during an interview promoting his new festival-winning comedic WWII drama Jojo Rabbit. “‘Cause we’re trying to figure out how long — how many months or years — this is after Endgame, at what point does this take place? I think we always want to keep changing it up with Thor. He’s so interesting when he’s changing all the time.” The entire purpose of Thor gaining weight was to convey the emotion he went through from losing everyone around him to Thanos. For now, it seems likely that Thor will return to the screen ripped with the six-pack he’s known for because if not, there will be tons of ladies hatefully @-ing Marvel and Taika on Twitter. Since her foray into the legal system, Kim has advocated on behalf of former inmates Alice Marie Johnson , Momolu Stewart, and Matthew Charles, all of whom were released after serving lengthy prison sentences. Now, she’s setting her sights on Rodney Reed. Late Friday night, Kardashian tweeted about watching the forthcoming film Just Mercy , starring Jamie Foxx and Michael B. Jordan. After watching the movie, she was inspired to further look into a case she’s been reading about for the last week. I just saw the movie Just Mercy, the film about Bryan Stevenson's book starring Jamie Foxx & Michael B Jordan. wow I cried!!! I know it doesn't come out until January but you all have to see this!!! Rodney has maintained his innocence the entire time, and now, him and his family are seeking justice before his scheduled execution on November 20. On October 10 and 11, Reed’s story was featured on Dr. Phil’s two-part series about the controversial case. A Change.org  petition has also been launched, which has since garnered nearly 70,000 signatures. Hopefully, the extra attention gained from Kim K’s call out will be enough to get this man free, or at the very least, a free trial.
