Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo Wedding Special to Air on TLC

You know what they say: if your first televised wedding doesn’t go well, try, try again. TLC has announced plans to air a special dedicated to the nuptials of Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo. It will include footage from their joint wedding shower, the latter’s search for a gown and, of course, end with the actual ceremony. Lachey allowed reality TV cameras into his life in a similar manner for his wedding to Jessica Simpson. That union ended in divorce after four years. A midget impersonated Nick Lachey at his fiancee’s bachelorette party . Why couldn’t that be televised?!? “We’re lucky to have such passionate and loving fans, and we though partnering with TLC on this special would be the best way to share the exciting journey we’re on with all the people that support us and our relationship,” the couple said, shockingly, in a joint statement. We had no clue the pair had any fans. Will you tune in for the nuptials?

The couple announced Tuesday that their wedding, originally scheduled for Saturday June 18, is off. On Wednesday, Lifetime canceled their special coverage, Marrying Hef. But Playboy, which went to print before the news, hits stands Friday featuring Harris, 25, on the cover as “America#39;s Princess: Introducing Mrs. Crystal Hefner.” Looks like Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris called off the wedding a bit too late. In the provocative shot, Harris sits (sans panties) in a leather chair with their

Colver, now 21, and Tylar, now 16, blamed each other for stabbing Witt 20 times as she was lying in bed in her upscale El Dorado Hills, Calif. home. It took a Northern California jury only a few hours Wednesday to convict Steven “Boston” Colver of murdering Joanne Witt for opposing his relationship with Witt#39;s then-14-year-old daughter, Tylar. Colver#39;s mother, Jan Colver, wept as the Placerville, Calif. jury convicted Colver of first-degree murder and found true the special circumstances

Lady Gaga HBO Special Gives Fans A Taste Of ‘Marry The Night’

Along with unreleased Born This Way track, Gaga gives Little Monsters an inside look at the Monster Ball. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: Marco Prosch/ Getty Images Lady Gaga’s first-ever HBO special is nearly 120 minutes of Gaga onstage and giving fans unprecedented behind-the-scenes access. A mixture of concert footage in color and backstage shots in black-and-white, HBO’s “Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden” is a love letter to her hometown, fans and her roots and also puts viewers in the front row at one of her shows. The special opens with Gaga greeting her friends on the Lower East Side in Manhattan and buying a coffee at a local deli decked out in a biker jacket, bodysuit and heels. She struts through the neighborhood and into an SUV. She pulls up to Madison Square Garden. From the car, she greets her fans. “You know how many times I came to this arena? And now they’re opening up these gates for us,” she marvels to her team. Now viewers are backstage as she puts on makeup and confesses , “I start to think about all the people that have tried to stop me, and I get this super-intense fury. … I just sometimes feel like a loser still.” The biggest reveal in the special is watching Gaga backstage singing a few lines of her still-unreleased Born This Way track “Marry the Night.” It happens fast, but Little Monsters are sure to eat up footage of her singing the track to herself. “I’m gonna marry the night/ I won’t give up on my life/ I’m a warrior queen/ Live passionately tonight,” she sings to herself, waiting for her show to begin. This moment marries her pre-show life with her stage life. And just like that, fans are now at the Monster Ball at Madison Square Garden . The concert footage was shot earlier this year during two nights at MSG. The Monster Ball itself has been edited with a constant stream of Gaga-isms about her fans, adversity and individuality, along with quick frenzied backstage shots, song changes (old and new) and, of course, costume changes (many of which are documented in those backstage moments). It gives anyone who hasn’t been there in person a good idea of what the show is all about. The set list includes: “Just Dance,” “You and I,” “Born This Way,” “Alejandro” and many other Gaga favorites that are highlighted by Gaga’s ferocious presence and over-the-top staging. After the concert wraps, fans are once again backstage as Gaga, her team and her family celebrate the show. In a particularly touching moment, she hugs her dad. Gaga is seen leaving MSG in a feathered jacket as the special ends. During the credits, fans are treated to one last treat: Gaga practices “BTW” with her backup singers a cappella. ‘Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale’ Trailer — Watch It Now!

Pop star gives fans an intimate look at her life in the special, airing Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on MTV. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears on the set of “Till the World Ends” Photo: MTV News & Docs This Sunday at 9 p.m., ” Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale ” makes its world premiere on MTV. In the special, the singer offers an intimate peek inside her world, taking fans behind the scenes of her big nightclub show in Las Vegas and chatting with MTV News correspondent Sway about her life and career. The MTV special follows Britney as she makes her way into the studio to listen to “Big Fat Bass,” produced by Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am, who tells Spears, “I did some tweaking to the ‘Big Fat Bass’; the bass is even bigger.” Spears later explains the difference between recording tracks versus performing them live. “When you’re in the studio, you’re just really focused, you’re really in your head and in your ears and on the notes,” she explains. “And when you’re performing, it’s more a connection on the outside and more of — like a tiger and more in your body.” The pop star says it’s fans who fill the audience at those live shows who get her excited to perform. “When they’re screaming like that, they just hype you up,” she says, “and make you feel larger than life.” Spears has been a public figure since she was on the “Mickey Mouse Club” as a kid, and in 2011, she turns 30 years old. In the special, Spears admits that she wanted to be a famous performer since she sported a schoolgirl uniform in her ” … Baby One More Time” video nearly a decade and a half ago. “I think I hoped I would be [doing this],” she says. “I genuinely love what I do. This is what I love to do.” Don’t miss ” Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale ” on Sunday, April 3, at 9 p.m. ET on MTV. Lil Wayne Recalls First Taste Of Freedom: Our Exclusive Interview Here!

‘To walk out of there that day with no handcuffs on,’ Wayne tells MTV News. ‘I was like wow, yeah, I’m gone.’ By Rebecca Thomas, with reporting by Sway Calloway Photo: MTV News On a frigid November morning, Lil Wayne walked out of New York’s Rikers Island last year a free man. And though there would be lavish homecoming parties to attend, a tour-finale concert in Las Vegas, reunions with family and even a marathon recording session in the offing, the New Orleans MC can still remember what struck him most in those first few moments. “Honestly, the first thing that I appreciated when I got out was not having to wear handcuffs,” Wayne told MTV News when we visited the Miami set of his “6 Foot 7 Foot” video . On the expansive jail facility where Wayne served out an eight-month sentence on an attempted gun possession charge, the Young Money boss discovered that while getting “special” treatment may seem to imply privileges, in fact, his celebrity status created some downsides. Having his wrists shackled as he moved through the prison’s various buildings became a weight, both physical and mental. “That was my first time walking out of there [without handcuffs], ’cause you know I always had to be transferred to one building from another to another just to do certain things, and they had so many special procedures with me,” explained Weezy, who was clad in a gray YMCMB sweatshirt and Chicago Bulls cap when MTV News’ Sway sat with him. “Things they had to do for protocol, so I always had to move here and move there, but everywhere I went I had to be handcuffed because it was this special protocol. “Other inmates didn’t have to be handcuffed when they [were guilty of] the same things,” he added, a look of melancholy flashing across his tattooed eyelids. “But it was this special protocol for me that they had to handcuff me.” Months into his sentence, Wayne called Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex and said apart from busying himself with the daily routine of incarceration — pawing through piles of mail, listening to sports radio — he was doing serious soul-searching. “Everybody says that you’re here for a reason, and I promise you, Flex, I try to find out that reason every day. I search for it. But I think when I get out, that’ll be the only time I’ll really know the answer.” On the dizzying “6 Foot,” the lead single from his eagerly awaited Tha Carter IV, Wayne cleverly boasts, “I got through that sentence like a subject and a predicate.” But he took a measured tone as he relived the pre-dawn hours of November 4. “To walk out of there that day with no handcuffs on, that was the first thing that caught my attention,” he said. “I was like wow, yeah, I’m gone.” Related Videos MTV First: Lil Wayne’s ‘6 Foot 7 Foot’ Related Artists Lil Wayne
