By Jocelyn Vena Heidi Montag Photo: Getty Images While “Hills” star Heidi Montag has said there is no sex tape featuring her and Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon, and her husband Spencer Pratt has said he will release the sex tape if Heidi doesn’t call off their divorce, the third party in the sex tape scandal, Shannon, is fessing up, saying that the sex tape does indeed exist and that Spencer stole it. Shannon confirmed the tape’s existence to RadarOnline.com , saying, “There is a sex tape of me and Heidi,” and noting that Spencer doesn’t appear on the tape. “It’s just me and Heidi, that’s it,” she said. Shannon claims Pratt stole the tape from her and that she doesn’t want to see it released. Why isn’t Spencer on the tape? “Heidi is single and having a lot of fun,” Shannon explained. “Me and Heidi were hanging out at her house in Malibu and he came over to pick up some stuff and he ‘accidentally’ took my camera,” Shannon claims. “I talk to Heidi every single day and I tried to be there for her when she was going through her divorce, but now it’s starting to affect my life. Spencer had no right to steal my camera. There are other things on there that I don’t want to come out, including the video of me and Heidi.” At this point, Shannon wishes the whole thing would go away. “I’m not trying to sell it … I’m good friends with Heidi and [my boyfriend] was good friends with Spencer. I tried being there for Heidi through her divorce and stuff, but now it’s affecting my life,” she said. “I don’t know, I just wish I’d done it [the sex tape] with Lindsay Lohan. Ex-husband Spencer Pratt explains why he is in Costa Rica, where she is vacationing. Heidi Montag moved forward with a divorce from “Hills” co-star Spencer Pratt and subsequently tweeted to Lauren Conrad that her friend was correct about Spencer’s ill intentions . And this week, the two were spotted away from their California homes. TMZ cameras caught the pair, who have been sparring on Twitter, together in Costa Rica. Heidi apparently had intentions to spend some time away from Malibu in the wake of the split; Spencer, who reportedly followed her down there, spoke to People.com about why they happened to be in the same country. “I had to bring the puppies down and help them move in,” Pratt said about why he was spotted down there with his estranged wife. “[Heidi] thought I was going to leave, but I’m not. I didn’t want to get divorced … I have nothing in Malibu, I’m homeless, I’m nothing without her.” While there is still talk of a sex tape starring Heidi, she says that it does not actually exist. “Everything was calm and going smoothly with the divorce,” she said. “We were really getting along and it was amazing he was being so thoughtful to help me move. Then things turned. There is no sex tape that exists and there never was. Spencer is trying to drum up press. This is exactly why I wanted to divorce him in the first place.” Spencer insists that the footage does exist, and that he plans to release it. For now, Heidi is just trying to look out for herself. “I’m going to leave the hotel and get a house because Spencer won’t leave me alone and won’t go back to Malibu right now,” the former reality star explained. “It’s just too hard.
