Maurice “Pops” Swiney), Spokesman Reec ( @reecswiney ), and volunteer coordinator ( @josh_millz_ ) came to support a local Youth baseball team with a “pop up” give back for a local baseball team. We know that youth sports can be a little taxing for the parents and volunteers. So Reec & PAYUSA are going around to different parks to donate equipment, sports drinks, snacks and words of encouragement.

Game of Thrones Preview: Now What?!?

Sometimes in sports, a team will come out on top in a very important game. They'll defeat their major rival in exciting fashion and be riding especially high afterwards, thinking nothing can ever bring them down. But this excitement causes them to overlook the following opponent and they end up playing what is typically referred to as a “letdown” game. And they end up losing such a game. We bring all of this up to say the following to Dany, Jon Snow and especially Arya Stark: Celebrate your victory over the Night Kind and his undead forces. But not too hard and not for too long. Because there's a certain evil queen and her army just waiting to strike their vulnerable foe in the next inevitable battle. Following the epic events in  Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 , it's hard to imagine where this series will go next. But one need not try to imagine because a brand new installment airs in just a few days — and we've got your very first look at it here. In the tease featured here, Daenerys promises that the “last war” is coming to Westeros, clearly preparing her decimated army to march against Cersei in the capital city. However, Sansa is not comfortable with her family’s alliance with Dany and isn't shy about expressing such grievances. Meanwhile, in King’s Landing, Cersei appears to be preparing to fight while fending off advances from the odious Euron Greyjoy, whose army she needs to win any future battle — but whose company she may be growing tired of. Will all of this feel rather anticlimactic after our heroes and heroines took down the Night King? Perhaps. But many viewers out there think the political power struggle is where the bulk of the intrigue lies on this drama. Are you among them? There's also the issue of Bronn having been enlisted to kill Tyrion and Jaime, as well as Jaime coming across the sister he has now betrayed. He has to be the one to eventually kill Cersei, right? He simply has to be. Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, however, let's just take a look ahead to this Sunday and Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4. Check out the preview now!

However, an old legal nemesis for the rapper denied him the chance to go see his hometown squad take on their neighbors to the north. TMZ Sports reports : The Philly rapper has been on probation ever since his 2008 drug and weapons case … and has to get permission every time he wants to leave the state of Pennsylvania. So, when the Sixers got matched up with the Raps in the Eastern Conference semi-finals this week, Meek — a HUGE Sixers fan — filed a request to make the trip to the 6 to cheer on his guys in person. We’re told Meek’s probation officer signed off on the request with no issue … but when it came to getting Brinkley’s signature, she refused to approve the request. Of course, Meek and Brinkley have history … and it’s no secret they don’t get along. Sixers co-owner Michael Rubin says Brinkley is deliberately ignoring their attempts to get approval … teeing off on the judge in an Instagram post. “Judge Genece Brinkley – I know you have a vendetta against Meek Mill and are obsessed with trying to control every aspect of his life, but did you really NOT approve him to go to rep the Sixers in Toronto for the game?” That stinks but hey, not all seven games will be hosted in Toronto and chances are this will be a long series. Fortunately, companies like Home Depot are not only aware of that issue, but they’re willing to do something about it. Monday afternoon in Atlanta, Shannon Sharpe, Rickey Smiley, and Laz Alonso linked up with the good folks at Home Depot for the $500,000 giveaway finale of the company’s Retool Your School campaign. Source: Nigel Degraff / Nigel Degraff Nine HBCU’s were awarded $50,000 a piece to rejuvenate parts of the campus that are in need. In order to receive the money, each college had to come up with a campaign to tally the most votes from consumers and one school secured the bag with the first ever “Campaign of the Year Award”. BOSSIP got a chance to speak to Super Bowl Champion and NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe at the event and got some insight on how he got involved and what his HBCU, Savannah State University, means to him: BOSSIP : How did you first get involved with Home Depot Retool Your School? Shannon Sharpe : Anytime it’s something to help historically Black college, I want to be involved. I went to an HBCU understand the economic hardships that a lot of these institutions face and Home Depot is doing a really good thing today. The Shannon Sharpe you see here was cultivated at Savannah from 1986-1989 I had some great professors and doctors who cared about me and help me find out about myself. This is my chance to pay Savannah State back and those professors who took time to instill wisdom and knowledge in me. I wish we could have a $20 million endowment like Harvard but this is a really good opportunity for myself, Rickey (Smiley) who went to Alabama State, to give back. I don’t think a lot of people realize that I went to an HBCU. Most times they assume if you went to the NFL or played professional sports that you went to Notre Dame or Michigan or Nebraska or something like that. BOSSIP : What advice would you give high school athletes who want to play professionally but are afraid that they won’t get the exposure at an HBCU that they would at a PWI? SS : When I went to Savannah State my college coach, Bill Davis, God rest his soul, told me “Son, if you’re good, they’ll find you.” Because I was gonna transfer to the University of Miami, but I believed I was that good. I believed the NFL would find me. I believed that once I got to the NFL I would show that my skill set was as good or better than all those guys. David and Shannon Beador: Messy Divorce Finalized at Last?!?

The bitter divorce between Shannon Beador and David has gone on and on and is finally winding to a close. Though David recently tried to squeeze Shannon for money in order to reduce what he has to pay, the two appeared in court together. This time, it was to officially end their marriage after 17 long years. RadarOnline reports that The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador and her estranged ex David Beador appeared in court together. On Monday, April 22, the acrimonious exes appeared in court. But even before their hearing began, the two appeared to be in conflict. Apparently they were both seen in heated negotiations alongside their attorneys as they ironed out details of the case. And then, of course, they entered the courtroom. The goal of appearing before the judge was to finalize their divorce after more than a year of contentious court battles. We do not yet know how Monday’s hearing went. Maybe they somehow managed to get it all out of their systems and reach an accord before they walked throught he courtroom doors. But … their history of relentless squabbling does make that seem less than likely. We’ll find out soon enough, we suppose. These two have been arguing about what most divorcing couples argue about: money and custody. He also tried to make the court force Shannon to never touch a drop of alcohol during visits with her kids, a ploy which got shot down by a judge. David has pleaded with the court to believe him when he says that he doesn’t have enough funds to keep paying Shannon. The $22,500 that he pays each month is both spousal support for Shannon and child support for their three teenage daughters. He was so angry when the payments were first ordered that he (reportedly) cut off the water to Shannon’s home, where his own daughters live. But now he may get his wish. See, David has insisted that he doesn’t make enough to keep paying Shannon like this. So far, that hasn’t flown. We last heard that the court’s forensic accountant says that his business is complicated, but that if support goes down, it will be by a small degree. On the other hand, Shannon is reportedly making bank. David claims that she’s raking in something to the tune of $900,000 for her role on The Real Housewives of Orange County . (For the record, from what we can tell from court documents, she makes under $600,000 per recent season, which is still a massive income ) If they dotted every I and crossed every T in finalizing their divorce on Monday, which we doubt … … Shannon spent nearly a year embroiled in a second lawsuit. She and Tamra Judge were being sued to the tune of $1 million by Jim Bellino. Yes, the ex-husband of Jesus Jugs had accused the pair of maliciously defaming him by, get this, saying unkind things about his business on a podcast. Well, Shannon won her part of that suit, and the judge ordered Jim to pay Shannon back for all of her attorney fees and court costs.
