Chanel Iman Describes Shooting In Swimsuits With Snakes Chanel Iman showed a stroke of fearlessness when shooting this year’s edition of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue. She told People all about her adventure shooting with pythons: “I started off with one python snake and then they brought out the second one,” the 25-year-old told People. “It was really easy because their mouths were taped, but there’s always that fear that the tape might come off and they might just squeeze the crap out of you … especially when they’re around your neck, and they’re on your arms, you don’t know what they’re gonna do, so there’s always a little bit of fear that something could go wrong on the shoot.” Iman also discussed dealing with the Maasai men in Zanzibar during her shoot there: “It was funny because the Maasai warriors were basically trying to get me to move to Africa and bidding on cows,” she said. “Like the more cows that you hunt, the man wins the woman or something like that.” “I think my bid was 50 cows,” she said. “Something crazy.” Hit the flip for BTS from Chanel’s shoot and more ‘mini clad shots. Fans were thrilled to see Lamar Odom back on his feet last week, but two of his biggest fans weren’t pleased after he snubbed them. Hard. His trip to Kanye West’s New York Fashion Week show last Thursday was his first official appearance since being hospitalized last year. Odom’s recovery has been somewhat miraculous, and there are even rumors of Lamar and Khloe Kardashian back together for real. Pretty amazing stuff, right? Not for Destiny Odom and Lamar Odom, Jr. “He didn’t see his kids when he was in NYC and the kids were upset,” an insider says. “They were supposed to come out and see him.” However, “Lamar has been embarrassed to call, and they are angry.” Destiny and Lamar Jr., the two surviving children from his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Liza Morales , “were very upset” about this. The 36-year-old’s NYC trip was very brief – he flew back to L.A. on Friday, February 12 – but it reflects an ongoing issue with Morales. There’s no love lost between Khloe, Lamar’s wife and the woman who was making medical decisions for him, and his children’s mother. Morales and the kids rushed to the former NBA star’s side when he was hospitalized following an overdose at a Las Vegas-area brothel. They also spent Christmas with him, celebrating the holiday in his hospital room at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai before he was discharged. So to be snubbed as soon as Odom’s feeling better – even if that wasn’t his intention, which we can’t speak to – has got to really sting. Manny Pacquiao Says Gay People Are Worse Than Animals Boxing star Manny Pacquiao apologized today for stating that gay relationships were as “worse than animals” but stands by his opposition to same-sex marriage according to ESPN reports: Fellow Filipino celebrities were among those criticizing his remarks, made when a TV network asked candidates about their views on same-sex marriage. “It’s just common sense,” Pacquiao said in the remarks posted online by the TV5 network. “Have you seen any animal having male-to-male or female-to-female relations?” Animals, he said, were better because they recognize gender differences, and “if you have male-to-male or female-to-female [relationships], then people are worse than animals.” Among those who reacted strongly was popular gay comedian and TV host Jose Marie Viceral, known as Vice Ganda. Vice Ganda tweeted that lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders are humans, not animals. He said that they’re not saints but that they’ll pray for the boxer, who is widely acclaimed for bringing his country honors. Vice Ganda posted a picture of Pope Francis, suggesting that even the beloved leader of the Roman Catholic church does not condemn gays.
