Muslim Family Beaten And Raped After Accused Of Eating Meat A 20-year-old Muslim woman claims that she and her 14-year-old cousin were gang raped and two relatives murdered, after being accused of consuming beef reports BBC : The woman, 20, told the BBC that four men carried out the attack in northern Haryana state two weeks ago. She denied consuming beef. She said the men beat her uncle and aunt to death in their home in Mewat. Many Hindus consider cows sacred and the slaughter of the animal is banned in several states, including Haryana. The suspects have been arrested and charged with rape and murder. However police have told reporters that there is no evidence to suggest that cow protection groups were involved in the attack. Although the alleged rape took place two weeks ago, news of the incident has only just come out. “They [the accused men] said that we ate cow meat and that is why we were being disgraced [raped]. They even threatened to kill me and my family if we ever told anybody what happened to us,” the woman told BBC Urdu. It’s true: for all the attention-getting antics of Cyrus, she deserves credit for not making a big issue out of her relationship with Hemsworth. And the same can certainly be said of that handsome Hunger Games star. When was the last time you ever heard Liam even utter his girlfriend’s name? He didn’t do so on Thursday, but he did make a rare reference to Cyrus, getting on board the Throwback Thursday train via the following picture on Instagram. “Throwing it WAY back… what a ‘blur.’ #TBT,” Hemsworth wrote as a caption to the following image. Look at Miley’s long hair! Look at Liam’s orange bathing suit! LOL! We love it! Yes, the image itself is a bit blurry. But we assume he also means that the memories are blurry; the memories, that is, of him and Miley meeting way back in 2010 while filming the movie The Last Song. It changed their lives forever. Soon afterward, Cyrus ad Hemsworth began dating, eventually getting engaged prior to breaking up in 2013. But now the couple appears to have since reconciled and Cyrus has been seen wearing her engagement ring again, sparking rumors that they are making plans to wed . Back in May, Hemsworth did speak to GQ Australia about his relationship with the famous pop singer. In very general terms. “I guess when I feel something, then I just feel it and I go for it,” he said at the time, adding: “I make my decisions about what’s going to make me happy, what I think is right and what I want to do — and I don’t worry too much outside of that.” So is he back together with Cyrus or what? “People will figure it out, they already have,” he said. “They’re not dumb.” That’s as close to a confirmation as we’re likely to get from Hemsworth. We want to quote Liam and Miley and have them embrace the spotlight and everything. But from a human standpoint? We have to admire their choice to keep their public lives private.
