Earlier today, we reported on Meek Mill’s lame response to Drake’s recent diss tracks. The song – titled “Wanna Know” – is the latest salvo in the rapidly escalating feud between the two artists, and it contains a number of references that might leave fans scratching their heads. The most baffling line comes at the end of the track, when Meek says, “You let Tip homie piss on you in a movie theater, n–ga, we ain’t forget.” It’s the kind of lyric that left us dying to know more, and thankfully, TMZ located some sources who were in the theater when Drake allegedly got his popcorn buttered. Apparently, the incident happened in 2010. Insiders say Drake, Meek and T.I. were all at a screening of the movie Takers, in which T.I. had a supporting role. A dispute erupted over who was sitting where, and one of T.I.’s friends decided to settle it by treating Drizzy to a surprise golden shower. Drake reportedly cussed the guy out and ran from the theater, but Meek’s crew says he forever lost the respect of everyone present that day by not knocking the guy out. Speaking of popcorn, this beef is quickly going from a lame pissing contest (tee-hee) to some seriously top-notch entertainment. Josh and Anna Duggar dined out with their newborn daughter Meredith this week, looking to put the scandal of this spring behind them. “Picture of our sweetest new granddaughter Meredith Grace with her mommy and daddy,” the Duggar family’s official Facebook shared. In the pic, Josh holds his yawning daughter, nearly 1-month-old, on his lap, as the couple chowed down on pasta and chicken fingers. Meredith looked adorable in a floral top, pink pants, and a flower headband, while beautiful Anna basks in a post-pregnancy glow. The four-time parents, both 27, and married since 2008, were all smiles, 2-3 months after Josh’s recent molestation scandal leaked. Meredith was born July 19, weighing in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and joining older siblings Mackynzie, 5, Michael, 4, and Marcus, 2. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s son moved back to Arkansas after losing his lobbyist job in D.C. once the molestation scandal hit. Reports of Josh Duggar watching porn at work, or receiving in-house “treatment” did not help any family damage control measures. Jill and Jessa Duggar, Josh’s sisters and two of his molestation victims, went on Fox News to discuss what he did and forgiving him. That wasn’t enough to save 19 Kids and Counting, which TLC canceled this month after a stunning 15 seasons on the network. The family’s future is now up in the air, and for Josh, that is especially true, as he’s been exposed and turned into a pariah of sorts. He’s been staying out of the spotlight as much as possible, though he has gradually returned to social media in recent weeks.
Earlier this week, we learned that Miley Cyrus will host the 2015 VMAs , and the Internet immediately began buzzing with predictions about what we should expect. After all, Miley’s VMA performance with Robin Thicke remains one of the most memorable moments in the show’s history, and for better or worse, her hosting gig is sure to have plenty of people talking the next day. The Parent’s Television Counsel has already blasted Cyrus as “profane” and unfit to host a show that might be viewed by children (Won’t someone please think of the children?!), and we think that’s more than a bit unfair. So far, we have no idea what to expect from Miley’s turn as emcee. In fact, she’s given us no information other than the fact that it will definitely involve hairless armpits: Miley posted the above photos to Instagram this week. We imagine if her life were a movie this would be part of her “getting ready to host the VMAs montage.” In case you weren’t aware, Miley had been rocking some serious armpit hair in recent weeks, and she even dyed it pink at one point. She captioned the photo on the right, “Ew,” so at least she’s aware that close up views of torn-out short-and-curlies are kinda gross. Last week, Cara Delevingne responded to Vogue’s article claiming her sexuality was “a phase,” telling the mag that it is not a phase at all. This week, the 22-year-old supermodel and actress is opening up about her sexuality, letting people know that she is changing, but she understands her sexuality as it is right now. Delevingne told People that she is constantly changing . “I like to be spontaneous and live in the moment,” the star of Paper Towns said. Her stance on being bisexual follows the same “live in the moment” attitude. “I haven’t made a concrete decision about anything,” she said. “Every day, I change. Every day, I’m discovering new things about myself.” But that doesn’t mean her sexuality is a phase or act. Rather she recognizes that she is still learning about her self, including her sexuality. If she is discovering new things about herself, then maybe one day she will think of her sexuality differently. But as of now, she identifies herself as bisexual. She doesn’t plan on keeping her sexual orientation a secret. “I want to be as open with people as possible,” she stated. “There are a lot of things people don’t know about me, but I just want to be honest.” Her honesty about her sexuality serves as a positive example for young people still trying to understand their own sexuality – that it is a complicated part of our identity that takes time to understand. The oft-discussed Jill and Jessa Duggar spinoff of 19 Kids and Counting was shot down, as we know, but for a most surprising reason. Last week’s news that TLC canceled 19 Kids and Counting was not surprising, given the scandal that had left it in limbo for two months. Josh Duggar molested five underage girls a decade ago. Four of the victims were his own sisters. This story only came to light in May. From then on, the Duggars’ fall was as abrupt as it was ugly. Given the religious family’s strong views on sexuality, Josh’s actions and his family’s efforts to hide them left a bad taste with many fans. Moreover, patriarch Jim Bob – always seen as an upstanding figure, if a polarizing one – came under fire for mishandling the situation. Nevertheless, there was talk that the TV show would shift from Jim Bob’s family to his married adult daughters Jill and Jessa Duggar. Given that this was sort of happening anyway, with the Duggar daughters getting more and more screen time, spinoff chatter began. At TLC, a Jill and Jessa spinoff was indeed discussed during the “near-constant” and “intense” conversations about the show’s future. A source who has worked closely with the family says many people loved the idea, but one key figure in particular was not on board. None other than Jim Bob Duggar was not a fan of the Jill and Jessa spin-off idea, and his implicit objection effectively left it DOA. “He absolutely wanted to be back on TV and was never thrilled about the show suddenly shifting focus,” the source says of Jim Bob. The shocking revelation comes amid talk that Jim Bob Duggar is planning the show’s return already via a multi-pronged PR offensive. Guess he wasn’t ready to cede the spotlight to his offspring? Perhaps sensing the unlikelihood of an imminent spinoff, Jill and husband Derick took their newborn baby son to Central America. “And with that, one half of any potential new show was gone,” the source adds, noting that it officially died with their mission trip. As for the pregnant Jessa, she “is clearly [one of the stars] in the family: beautiful, smart, strong-willed,” says the insider. However: “She may be slightly more free-spirited than your average Duggar, but she is firmly, centrally a part of the family , as is her husband.” Even though their series has been canceled and there are no confirmed spin-offs on the horizon, the Duggars aren’t going away. We know they will return to the network that made them stars at least once in the near future as part of a documentary feature. “They’re happy to show that this did not scar them permanently,” the source says of the TLC special about child abuse survivors. The rumor was almost certainly bogus to begin with, but in case you were planning on tuning in tonight to witness an upstaging for the ages, we have some bad news: TMZ is reporting that Caitlyn made it clear to the show’s producers that she doesn’t want any of her ex-wives in attendance, including Kris. Rob Kardashian was reportedly invited, but the 28-year-old sock mogul has been avoiding the public eye for months, and sources say he has no intention of coming out of hiding tonight. Of course, the biggest Kard clan story of recent weeks has been the breakup of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick . But don’t think for a second that the dumping of the Douche Lord will overshadow Caitlyn’s historic acceptance speech. According to Radar Online, Disick was uninvited the moment that Caitlyn learned the couple had called it quits. (Scott and Caitlyn were never exactly besties to begin with.)
