The Twilight film franchise may have worked its way through Stephenie Meyer’s books, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s over. Just watch my red-carpet interview with Elizabeth Reaser at Thursday night’s New York premiere of Breaking Dawn — Part 2 . The actress, who plays Esme Cullen, suggests that there may be more life in store for this undead saga. Other stars of the blockbuster franchise get misty over the final film and how awesome their fans are. They also share their thoughts on the movie’s surprise ending, which is different from Meyer’s book. Watch my red carpet interviews below to find out! The premiere, which was hosted by The Cinema Society and Samsung Galaxy, drew cast members Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Dakota Fanning, Peter Facinelli, Maggie Grace and Mackenzie Foy as well as Howard Stern and his wife Beth, Jennifer Esposito and Tony Danza and Diane Neal. Skyfall to Exceed $800M Worldwide MGM expects the latest James Bond to be the highest grossing film in the franchise of all time. Additionally, the Blu-ray package, Bond 50: The Complete 22 Films Collection was a “tremendous success at retail,” Deadline reports . Ted Crosses $500 Million Mark The R-rated comedy is Universal’s highest rated film of 2012, crossing the $500 million mark worldwide, beating Todd Phillips’ The Hangover which took in $467.4 million, THR reports . Specialty Preview: Anna Karenina , Silver Linings Playbook , Price Check , Mea Culpa Maxima More Oscar contenders are lined up at the specialty gate this weekend, most notably The Weinstein Company’s Silver Linings Playbook ,, whose strategy has evolved in the run-up to Friday’s launch. The title will start with a handful of bookings before expanding gradually into wide release. Focus Features’ hopeful Anna Karenina will also hit the same number of cinemas in its initial outing, targeting women and the art-house crowd, Deadline reports .

Pippa Middleton may have a new boyfriend in James Matthews , but her life is being RUINED by her big sister Kate, according to a new tabloid report. The National Enquirer claims that Pippa had to cancel a high-profile book tour of the United States following the Kate Middleton nude photo scandal. “Because the Royals feared Pippa would be questioned about Kate’s nude photo scandal, putting the whole mess back in the spotlight,” a source said. “Worse, Pippa was told to keep quiet when The Queen’s cohorts leaked phony stories to the press, [such as] Pippa herself cancelling her tour to keep the scandal from re-emerging!” The alleged (probably bogus) ruining of Pippa’s life was made worse by the fact that her sister delivered the blow personally – choosing her royal reputation over her sibling. “Palace officials stood firm and demanded that Kate personally break the devastating news. Extremely upset, she tried to persuade Prince William to intervene before her meeting with Pippa.” “[William] refused, saying it was an official matter that needed to be handled by her. Lauren Conrad says The Hills was totally real. Mostly. Sort of. In the new issue of Allure, the 26-year-old former reality star says, “I think the story they told wasn’t a dishonest one. The way they did it sometimes was.” “They aren’t going to be there for everything. Sometimes two characters will get into a fight, and that’s important to the story line. The [producers] need that reenacted.” Most of the drama was based on reality, however. Including LC dating Brody Jenner. “[We] did date,” she says. “It was pretty brief. There was definitely editing to drag it out.” Conrad, who is currently dating musician William Tell, shares what she loves in a guy: “You don’t want a slob, but you don’t want a guy who is constantly borrowing your tweezers … The last year and a half, I was dating a lot, and it’s slim pickings.” Now that the celebrity fashion designer and Lauren Conrad Beauty author has gotten used to the spotlight, she’s learned not to take things so seriously. “I think anyone in the public eye is going to be hated, and a lesson that I needed to learn quickly is that it is impossible to please everybody,” she says. “One person will call you classy, another will call you boring.” “People felt that a lot of the things I had were undeserved, maybe because I didn’t have a specific talent. Lance Armstrong and his team ran a sophisticated and professional doping scheme for years, according to 11 of the cycling legend’s former teammates. A report by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency details the complete case against Armstrong, 41, who was stripped of his Tour de France titles this summer. It contains testimony from 11 of his former U.S. Postal Service teammates. Lance has always denied doping but has not contested these charges. USADA chief executive Travis Tygart said there was “conclusive and undeniable proof” of a team-run doping conspiracy headed by the all-time great. The group will send a “reasoned decision” in the case to the International Cycling Union (UCI), the World Anti-Doping Agency and the World Triathlon Corporation. The UCI now has 21 days to appeal or they must comply with the decision to strip Armstrong of all his cycling titles and hand him a lifetime ban. Armstrong overcame cancer to return to cycling and won the Tour from 1999-2005. He retired in 2005 but returned in 2009 before retiring for good in 2011. In his statement, Tygart said the evidence against Armstrong and his team – which is in excess of 1,000 pages – was nothing short of “overwhelming.” It “includes sworn testimony from 26 people, including 15 riders with knowledge of the US Postal Service Team and its participants’ doping activities.” [Photo: WENN.com]
