There is no official release date for the It’s the World album, but judging from Jeezy’s excitement, it shouldn’t be too far off. “I’m ready to put the singles out now,” Young told MTV News after his mtvU Spring Break performance at the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. It’s the World will showcase not only Jeezy, but Freddie Gibbs and the rest of the CTE roster as well. Jizzle revealed that the first single to drop will be a song called “Ridin’,” but ensured that the team has more than one bullet in the chamber. “We got the singles locked and loaded, we gonna shoot a couple of videos,” he said. “I’m on tour, so I’m in the middle of the tour, right before I get off I’m ready to go. Freddie Gibbs, the whole camp, we ready, we turned up.” As excited as he is for the future, in no way was the Snowman overlooking the matter at hand: his 2012 Spring Break set. After rocking mtvU’s Spring Break at the Palms in Las Vegas, Sean reveals his G.O.O.D. Music mentor’s bold prediction. After all, Sean told MTV News his mentor, Kanye West , revealed he thinks the Finally Famous MC will eventually rank as the best rapper of all time. After rocking the Palms’ poolside stage with “Do It,” “Marvin & Chardonnay” and “Dance (A$$),” the Detroit MC told MTV News, “It’s just cool as hell, period, because I used to look at all the Spring Break performances when I was coming up. To be doing it myself, I can’t even be more thankful.” While his Palms party automatically ranked as Sean’s favorite, he also recalled an unforgettable run in Miami. “Besides this one, I went down to Miami one year,” Sean said. “Drinks, mixed with girls, mixed with Detroit players — that’s a crazy combo.” As far as how one might deal with those next-day hangovers, Big Sean advised, “Don’t worry about the morning after. It’ll make the night that much better.” For the hardworking G.O.O.D. Music rapper, we’re sure the break came in handy. Not only does he have the G.O.O.D. Music compilation dropping sometime this year, Sean is also planning to release his sophomore LP. “My album’s coming this summer. I can probably say at the latest at the end of August. I got Tyga on there. I got, of course, ‘Ye on there,” he revealed. It’s not often that the ATLien raps or even grants an interview, and when he does, die-hards hang onto every syllable, even if they sometimes misconstrue his sentiment. In a new interview with Fader magazine, 3 Stacks sets the record straight and denies the persistent rumors of an Outkast breakup. “So I think when I hear things on the Internet that Outkast is over, I think, that’s a shame. Because I don’t have the power to stop Outkast, you know? I didn’t start Outkast by myself. I don’t have the power to stop Outkast,” Andre said in the interview, which can be found on Fader ‘s website. Andre and bandmate Big Boi dropped their debut LP, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, back in 1994, and they have since become an iconic act in hip-hop and music as a whole. In 2000 they dropped their fourth album, Stankonia, which they followed three years later with the double disc Speakerboxxx/ The Love Below. Though packaged as an Outkast album, each disc served as solo expression for the two MCs: Big Boi commandeered the Speakerboxxx portion and 3000 helmed The Love Below disc. In 2006, they released the “Idlewild” soundtrack together, but despite the constant rumors, there has been no group project since. There may never be another ‘Kast album, 3 Stacks says. “We’re not on the roster or on a schedule with a label to put out an Outkast album. I can’t say if or when we will, but I’m going to be in Outkast forever in some kind of way,” he said. There is an Andre solo LP on the horizon, but of course there is no date. “I’m at a place now where my deadline is my own self. I’m looking at it like, OK, I don’t want to be like 40 years old and to haven’t done this album,” Dre said. “And I don’t have a sense of time. When people say, Man, we haven’t heard from you in like five years, or seen you, to me, it feels like a year.
