Lindsay Lohan to Ring in NYE at Dubai Rager?

Despite her claims to have passed on New Year’s gigs to focus on turning over a new leaf, Lindsay Lohan will ring in 2012 at a RAGING PARTY in Dubai. So says an overseas party planning company, at least. Lohan claims that’s complete BS though, and is threatening legal action, saying they’re just using her name to promote the event, according to TMZ . Lindsay is reportedly pissed, and rightfully so, that she’s been tied to a NYE bash on the Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise ship in Dubai, since she ain’t going. Her always-busy legal team is pounding out a cease and desist letter claiming that she can and is prepared to sue if they continue to lie about Lohan’s NYE plans. Lohan’s rep, Steve Honig, says in a statement: “Lindsay is not going to Dubai, nor had she ever considered doing so. She will be spending New Year’s Eve in L.A. with a few close friends and family.” Sorry, people of Dubai. Chris Brown. Rihanna. Fairly or not, these two music stars will be forever linked by a hot romance that ended in a highly publicized 2009 assault that Chris later pleaded guilty to. Are they rekindling a romance or are they just unrelated? If they were directed at someone else, why not Tweet at them? So odd. Then there’s this: Earlier, Brown’s mom tweeted, “HELLO LADY I MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU!!!!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!” Rihanna tweeted shortly after, “Miss+Love u 2” Weigh in with your comments and theories below.

Alex Rodriguez and Torrie Wilson: New Couple Alert?

Alex Rodriguez had been laying low since his split with Cameron Diaz and failure to come through in the 2011 playoffs, but he’s apparently hitting it out of the park again. He’s reportedly dating Torrie Wilson. A 36-year-old model and former pro wrestler, Wilson spent the holidays with her family in Boise, Idaho, where A-Rod was coincidentally spotted as well. HMM. Boise news anchor Mike Murad even tweeted a photo of A-Rod running on the treadmill at the local gym and said, “I was told he was visiting a friend.” Moreover, eyewitness Randy Simon told the Idaho Stateman that the New York Yankees third baseman, also 36, was at the gym with Torrie Wilson . A-Rod and Torrie’s Idaho trip isn’t the first time the two have been spotted together. On Dec. 4, the couple were photographed riding bikes in Miami. Earlier this year, A-Rod was vacationing in Mexico with friends George Clooney and Stacy Keibler . Torrie, a close friend of Stacy, was also on hand.
