Gearing up for her big Shakespeare in the Park performance, Anne Hathaway was spotted rehearsing in New York City’s Central Park yesterday (July 1). The “Bride Wars” babe looked prim and proper as she sauntered around the stage in a period-authentic ivory dress with a pulled-back hairdo. In related news, Miss Hathaway was recently invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, an exclusive group of actors, directors, and producers that is allowed only 6000 members at any time

Karl Malden, the Academy Award-winning actor whose intelligent characterizations on stage and screen made him a star despite his plain looks, died Wednesday, his family said. He was 97.

Aubrey O‚ÄôDay Eyes Topless Vegas Gig

She’s no stranger to baring all, and it seems Aubrey O’Day thrown her hat into the ring for a Las Vegas stage show in which she’ll be performing topless. According to FOX Pop Tarts, the former Danity Kane singer is trying to follow in fellow Playboy Playmate Holly Madison’s footsteps by scoring a racy gig in Sin City. O’Day will most likely be taking over Mel B’s “Peep Diva” character in the Peep Show production beginning sometime this fall
