Back in November of last year, John David Duggar married Abbie Burnett . But in this Counting On clip, they're still preparing for the big day. Jana Duggar is relegated to helping everyone, and that includes helping prepare for her little brother's wedding. In the process, while out and about with BFF Laura DeMasie, she finds something so embarrassing that she “tried to block” it out. TLC has posted a number of behind-the-scenes looks at the Duggar family on Counting On . In this one, Jana is busy acting as a wedding planner for John David Duggar and Abbie Burnett. That's right — Jana isn't just a full-time childcare worker, a housekeeper, and a gardener. She also helps to plan her siblings' weddings while fans wonder when she will have her own. Even though Jim Bob is a millionaire, John David's wedding had a tight budget. So Jana went to a thrift store to look for decorations. There's a lot of good stuff in this clip, but let's skip right to the humiliation. (Sorry, Jana!) Laura and Jana find a massive collection of books, but one set of books in particular catches their eyes. It's a bunch of Duggar books. Books put out by the family over the years are collected on a set of shelves. Jana's feeling of awkwardness is palpable. Meanwhile, Laura is laughing her head off. The books include Growing Up Duggar and The Duggars: 20 And Counting . As you can imagine, Jana is both visible and recognizable on the various books, which Laura cannot help but point out. (If your best friend doesn't know how to roast you over harmless stuff, are they really your best friend?) Jana then makes the mistake of looking to see how much the books cost. From their dialogue, and it's unclear if they're joking, it sounds like the books are about 90% off. Laura then suggests that Jana should autograph one of the books as a special surprise for someone who might buy one. Instead, Jana covers up the faces of some of the books, using other books. It's not clear if she hopes to avoid being recognized by others in the store — since, you know, she has a whole dang camera crew with her. Even afterwards, Laura is cackling over the experience, much to Jana's embarrassment. When it is brought up in front of the camera, Jana states that she “tried to block” that memory from her mind. Elsewhere in the clip, Jana explains that she tends to look at items, then look at the price. Her own siblings admit that she sometimes “stretches” the budget. Laura is there to keep her in check by reminding her that she can only buy so much for this wedding. Then the producers troll her by having different pairs of Duggars speak about which among them are more impulsive purchasers. Jessa and Kendra, like Jana, tend to want to take advantage of a good sale when they see it. Because Jana and Laure insist that they're just friends , not lovers, the producers also bring out a non-couple: twin brothers Jeremiah and Jedidiah. Of the two, Jeremiah usually counsels Jedidiah to not impulsively purchase things … but that may just be a trick, as Jeremiah may buy the item himself.

It affects your social life You start to see friends less, because you simply aren’t on their schedule. They’re having happy hour drinks at 5pm, but you just started work at noon, so you’ll be working until 8pm or 9pm. You also can’t join them for a morning workout class because you’ll still be asleep. But missing out on friendship can lead to depression—we are social creatures after all. 2. Your days feel shorter Though you may be awake for the same amount of time, you aren’t experiencing as many daylight hours. The day naturally feels shorter. You feel rushed. You feel like the day is ending when it barely just began, since the sun is dropping, and you’ve only been up for a few hours. This feeling that the day goes by too fast increases the feeling that life goes by too fast, which can also trigger depression. 3. Less sunlight can lead to other issues The mere fact that you aren’t up with most of the sun means you aren’t getting vitamin D, one nutrient many people are low on , and one that you need for many important functions. 4. You eat at odd times/alone You start to eat at odd times. Breakfast is at 11am. Lunch is at 5pm. So, when everyone else is having meals, you’re in the middle of work. You wind up having to eat a lot of meals alone, which can feel very sad. 5. You spend less time with your partner You spend less time with your romantic partner because he’s on a regular sleep schedule. So, when he wants to have dinner together, you’re in the middle of your workday. You never go to sleep or wake up together, either. You share a bed, but you barely spend time together in bed. 6. You make poor food decisions In addition to eating alone because of your new eating schedule, you also eat less healthfully. It’s funny how being awake late at night, when nobody else is, has a way of convincing us that half a pizza at 1am doesn’t count. But it does. 7. You may get headaches Adjusting your sleep schedule can lead to headaches. Source: Miami-Dade county police / Mugshot Florida Man Charged For Hitting Lawyer And His Family While High On Whip Cream A Florida man was jailed Wednesday afternoon for killing a lawyer while high on adult-themed nitrous oxide, the Miami Herald reports . Joseph Franco, 27, is accused of killing Amir Pelleg, 43 in July 2018 and injuring his wife and two young daughters. After hitting the family, witnesses told police, Franco, on his phone, dumped a duffel bag in a nearby garbage can. Inside of the duffle bag, Police found 12 used canisters of nitrous oxide, and nine more unused ones. Franco was initially charged with tampering with evidence and distribution of nitrous oxide. The cans were labeled “XXX Platinum Triple Refined Cream Chargers,” an adult-themed product ostensibly used to make whipped cream. “Ready for slathering,” according to the packaging of one box being sold online. Investigators say the “whippets” are used mostly for inhaling the gas, which gives users a euphoric jolt. After further investigation, police believe that Franco was actually high on the “whippets” when he crash. His car’s black box also showed he did not brake or even steer before he hit the family. Franco had been on house arrest awaiting trial on the tampering charge before surrendering Wednesday to face the enhanced charges.
