Cage is the latest character revealed joining the growing the list of fighters that will be in NetherRealm Studios’ highly anticipated game Mortal Kombat 11 . We might have found our favorite character. Cage is the focus of this weeks Kombat Kast that last announced that Princess Kitana’s BFF and deadly assassin Jade would be returning to MK11 as well. Armed with his signature moves like his Shadow Kick, Shadow Uppercut, Shadow Somersaults and his brass knuckles that we were introduced in Mortal Kombat X . But what gamers will be genuinely excited to see are the new tricks that Johnny Cage has up his sleeve in MK11 . The folks at NetherRealm are taking the character to another level by allowing him to beat his opponents into a bloody pulp in the most Hollywood way ever. The trailer reveals that Cage can now call on a stunt double to help issue fades, throw his sunglasses as a dangerous projectile, and blind his opponents with a camera flash. What really will have the masses talking is Cage’s X-Ray attack where we see the former actor brutalize his opponents with an award trophy smashing it across their faces before stabbing them in the back with it. For his fatality, Cage brings back his vintage uppercut finish but needs numerous takes to get it right before taking his frustration out on his defeated opponent and asking, “who hired this guy, wtf?” Johnny Cage joins his wife Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, Geras, Skarlet, Baraka, Jade, Kano, Kabal , D’Vorah and Shao Khan. Turning Point It now looks as though those days are definitively behind them, however, as Kylie has reportedly discovered “evidence” of Travis’ infidelity. 4. Though Jordyn Woods insists that it wasn’t her fault that she boned Tristan Thompson , Khloe Kardashian reportedly remains unconvinced. Now she’s speaking out and roasting “cheaters.” She says that they’re not sorry for what they did — only that they were caught and exposed. Khloe is once again indulging in one of her favorite pastimes: expressing her feelings through vagueposts on her Instagram Stories. “Remember: they cheated because they wanted to,” her not-so-vague post begins. The text continues: “They lied because they could, and now they’re sorry because they got caught.” “It’s always about them,” Khloe says about cheaters. The text affirms: “You did nothing to cause or deserve it.” It sounds like she is reminding herself that she’s not to blame for the misdeeds of her cheating baby daddy. “You ever notice people would rather stop speaking to you,” Khloe’s next text post begins. The Instagram Story continues: “rather than apologizing when they’re wrong?” It sounds like she’s complaining that someone has ghosted her instead of just apologizing. Is her gripe that Jordyn Woods is hiding in shame? Has someone else in her life just vanished on her rather than admit that they were wrong? Or … is Khloe trying to encourage someone (Jordyn) to come in out of the cold and grovel at her feet? Jordyn Woods is currently scheduled to appear on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk on Friday. Notably, the Smith family is very close to Jordyn but also to the Kardashians — specifically, to Kylie. Also, unlike so many of the people and families in the Kardashian clan’s orbit, the Smiths are titans in their own right. If Jordyn was looking for a trusted place to go that wouldn’t feel beholden to bow down to Khloe’s feelings, she found it. The Smiths are their own dynasty. Is Khloe trying to silence Jordyn? Because that second message from her Instagram Stories sounds like she could be urging Jordyn to reach out to her and apologize. Is there something that she doesn’t want Jordyn to reveal on Red Table Talk ? If so … it might be too late. Jordyn has said her piece, and now it’s just waiting to air. But if Khloe is open to talking to Jordyn or even to reconciliation, that could still be a good and important thing. We just hope that Jordyn doesn’t say anything in her interview to screw that up. See, Jordyn and Kylie have been BFFs for years. Some people use terms like “best friend” casually, but this is a real bond. The two were like sisters. Jordyn was with Kylie for every step of the way in her pregnancy, from the initial test to the delivery. She’s been like a third parent to baby Stormi. She lived with Kylie and now she’s lost that huge part of her life — including her home. It would be amazing if Khloe cooled off enough to let Kylie and Jordyn reconcile. It has been reported that Jordyn had been drinking — perhaps even heavily — the night of her hookup with Tristan. Despite rumors to the contrary, it is said that this was a one-time thing. After the two made out, Jordyn reportedly immediately knew that she had screwed up and insisted that she had to leave. Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo have not received the same kind of national attention that as has been afforded to Jussie Smollett over the past month or so. However, if police allegations are accurate, these brothers from Nigeria also played a major role in duping the public just a few weeks ago. And they’re now here to say how very sorry they are for their actions. These siblings have confessed to helping Smollett stage an attack against himself on the streets of Chicago early on the morning of January 29. As you know doubt are aware of by now, the Empire actor told authorities after this incident that two white men assaulted him… tied a rope around his neck… doused him in bleach… and taunted him with racial and homophobic slurs. Smollett went on Good Morning America to share his story, insisting on numerous occasions that this hate crime really did take place. Alas, the Chicago Police Department does not agree. Partly based on interview with the Osundairos, who worked as extras on Empire and who also trained Smollett, they have determined that Smollett ha been lying. And they’ve charged him with falsifying a police report. This is a felony that could land Smollett behind bars for three years. It’s unknown at this time just what legal penalty Abimbola and Olabinjo could pay for pretending to be Smollett’s assailant, but their attorney spoke out on Friday morning and tried to garner some sympathy for her clients. This was her statement: “My clients have tremendous regret over their involvement in this situation, and they understand how it has impacted people across the nation, particularly minority communities and especially those who have been victims of hate crimes themselves.” According to the Chicago Police Department, Smollett paid the Osundairo brothers via check for a “phony attack” in order to take “advantage of the pain and anger of racism to promote his career.” However, new questions have been raised about this payment and also about Smollett’s motives. On the latter front, some believe Smollett was seeking to become a LGBTQ martyr/hero by placing himself in the middle of an assault. On the former front, the check Smollett cut to the siblings has actually been made public. As you can see below, it’s made out to Abimbola and it’s in the amount of $3,500 — but it was written six days before the attack and it listed “personal training” as the basis for the payment. Smollett, of course, could have simply been covering his tracks via this personal training note. But the check in and of itself doesn’t appear to be evidence. Moreover, the texts Smollett sent to one of these brothers also backs up his claim that they were simply helping him get in shape for a music video. This is all a confusing, disturbing mess, that’s about all we can say for certain right now. Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said at a press conference last month that the assault “was staged, the brothers had on gloves… where they punched him a little, but as far as we can tell, the scratching and bruising that you saw on [Smollett’s] face was most likely self-inflicted.” Johnson went on to say Smollett owes everyone an apology for this farce. But the actor’s lawyers say that the police department is the one acting inappropriately here. “The presumption of innocence, a bedrock in the search for justice, was trampled upon at the expense of Mr. Smollett and notably, on the eve of a Mayoral election,” his team said after Johnson’s address to the media, adding a few days ago: “Mr. Smollett is a young man of impeccable character and integrity who fiercely and solemnly maintains his innocence betrayed by a system that apparently wants to skip due process and proceed directly to sentencing.” View Slideshow: Jussie Smollett: This is How He Staged His Assault
