Not only was La Flame presented with a city to the city while performing in his hometown, but it was also announced mid-concert that Houston will be getting a new amusement park, all thanks to Travis Scott and his love of ASTROWORLD. Source: John Warburton-Lee / Getty 25-year old Parker Lynch was killed on Monday after asking a friend to test a bulletproof vest he was wearing by shooting at him. According to Graham County Sheriff Office , Lynch put on the bulletproof vest and plate and asked his friend Steven Watson to shoot at it. Watson fired one round from a .223 single-shot rifle and hit Lynch in the abdomen. When police arrived, they found shot in the stomach and transported him to Mount Graham Regional Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery. Unfortunately, the 25-year old victim died during the operation. Watson has been arrested and booked into the Graham County Adult Detention Facility on a manslaughter charge. Damn.

Another young Black man has been shot dead by police. Aspiring rapper, 20-year-old Willie Bo was asleep in his car—allegedly with a handgun in his lap—when he was awakened by officers, who eventually opened fire. From Buzzfeed News : “Police were called to the fast-food restaurant in Vallejo around 10:30 p.m. Saturday after employees reported seeing a man ‘slumped over’ inside a silver Mercedes-Benz. When officers arrived, they found Willie James McCoy unresponsive in the driver’s seat with a handgun on his lap, police said. The car was locked and the transmission was shifted into the drive position, police said. ‘The two officers decided to hold their position and did not attempt to wake the driver,’ Vallejo police said in a statement. ‘Instead they decided to wait for additional officers to arrive on scene and ensure that people in the parking lot were safe and did not approach the vehicle.’ After additional officers arrived, police tried to open the driver’s side door, but were unsuccessful. Officers then positioned a patrol car in front of the Mercedes to prevent it from suddenly moving forward, and tried to move another patrol vehicle behind McCoy’s. It was at that time, police said, that the driver began to wake up and move.” According to the statement, which you can read in full here , “The driver began to suddenly move and looked at the uniformed patrol officers. Officers gave the driver several commands to put his hands up. The driver did not comply and instead moved his hands downward toward the firearm.” Six police officers opened fire on Willie Bo for approximately four seconds. The involved officers have reportedly been placed on administrate leave and the Solano County district attorney’s office is investigating the shooting. Willie Bo’s cousin David Harrsion took to Facebook to open up about his family’s horrific loss . “My little cousin was asleep in the car. This Is Us viewers are forced to break out multiple boxes of tissues on a weekly basis. The NBC drama is darn good, but darn sad and sentimental as well. Now, however, due to a bit of shocking news from showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Dan Fogelman, fans of the series are likely to lose their emotional $hit for reasons that have nothing to do with ongoing storylines. This is a long-winded way of saying the following: This Is Us is coming to an end!!!!!! In, like, three years. But still. In a revealing interview with Deadline, Aptaker and Fogelman say pretty clearly that the show will likely wrap up after Season 6. “We’ve got multiple seasons mapped out,” Fogelman tells the outlet of his beloved drama, which is currently in Season 3. “I think this season has been a lot about redemption, but also a lot of rebirth. Next season is a season of new beginnings and restarts.” Fans can expect interweaving timelines to play an even more prominent role in 2019-2020, the producers promise, but they also reveal that the plan all along has been to conclude This Is Us after six seasons. Explains Aptaker: “From day one, Dan came in with his master plan for the big picture stuff of the show and said, ‘I think this is where we end up. I think this is what I know. Let’s figure out the rest together.’ “So all of the writers and the actors really know everything. “We’re all pretty good at keeping secrets by now, it’s been three years, but it’s a total open book for everyone who works on the show, so there are no secrets from each other.” Naturally, of course, NBC may have something to say about this plan. The network renewed This Is Us for two additional seasons during its initial run, making it clear that it saw long-term potential in the stories of Jack, Randall, Kate and company. If the series maintains its popularity, and executies offer Aptaker and Fogelman enough money to stick around, who the heck knows? This Is Us could air 17 seasons in the end. For now, however, arcs and stories are being written with the sixth season end date in mind. And it sounds like the two men in charge know exactly how they want to say goodbye. “I would hope that it’s elegant,” Aptaker told Deadline of the series finale, which he’s already thought about it.” He continued: “That’s what we’re going for. I would hope that when we reach our ending, people think it’s a really satisfying end place, that makes sense, and it feels like they’ve watched something that is a complete piece of work because that’s really how we’re trying to plan it. “Almost like you would a book, or a super-long movie. “We’ve had this end in mind for a long time, so we’re able to plan for it, and try to make it feel like it’s a whole, as opposed to a series that’s going to go endlessly.” This Is Us – which stars, among others, Sterling K. Brown, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia – airs Tuesdays at 9/8 c on NBC. It will definitely make you cry. But it’s pretty fantastic.

Though Pao’s life is going very well these days, she has found herself caught up in a whirlwind of drama through no fault of her own. Ashley Martson and Jay Smith’s fake “leaks” scandal has turned the 90 Day Fiance fandom upside down. The Season 6 couple, who also filmed for 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? , had appeared to be the victims of a series of leaked photos. As it turned out, however, Ashley and Jay had orchestrated some of those leaks themselves. Paola herself was shocked and appalled, feeling lied to and betrayed. She very publicly took to Instagram to express her absolute dismay. Paola explained that she had felt sorry for Ashley, and had promoted her Instagram in her own Stories out of sympathy. Fortunately, Pao’s life is mostly just about one thing these days: Axel. It’s very correct that she and Russ are spending their time on their primary responsibility instead of creating drama. Anfisa Arkhipchenko did try to shade the Mayfields, referring to them as TLC’s “b–ches” for doing the job without demanding higher pay. According to Buzzfeed News , on Saturday night six Vallejo, California, police officers were called to Taco Bell to check out Willie James McCoy (aka Willie Bo), who was slumped over” inside a silver Mercedes-Benz. When police arrived, McCoy, 20, was unresponsive. However, they saw a handgun in his lap, a gun that authorities later discovered was loaded and stolen from Oregon. “The two officers decided to hold their position and did not attempt to wake the driver,” police said in a statement. “Instead they decided to wait for additional officers to arrive on scene and ensure that people in the parking lot were safe and did not approach the vehicle.” After noticing that the car’s “transmission was in drive,” they couldn’t open the driver’s side door once additional officers arrived. That’s when the situation turned south. “The driver began to suddenly move and looked at the uniformed patrol officers,” officials said, BuzzFeed reported. “Officers gave the driver several commands to put his hands up. The driver did not comply and instead moved his hands downward toward the firearm.” Then, six police officers opened fire at McCoy for about four seconds, Buzzfeed noted. After the shooting, one of the officers reached through the broken glass and grabbed the handgun. While police claim they tried to perform CPR on McCoy, the young man was declared dead at the scene. McCoy’s cousin David Harrison told the Los Angeles Times that the Bay Area aspiring rapper was an “ambitious goodhearted kid.” “Willie was a goodhearted kid,” Harrison said. “He loved children. He was ambitious. There was no such things as friends for him. His friends were family.” Harrison also took to Facebook to warn Black parents to protect their children from the police. “You can’t just keep killing us in the streets like this,” adding, “My little cousin was asleep in the car. They shot him 20 mother f*cking times, in a mother f*cking car asleep.” The Solano County district attorney’s office is investigating the shooting.
