Beatrice Bouchard is evidence that Canadian girls can do vapid instagram content just as well as American girls. Especially when they are rich kids, who’s twin sister is a pro tennis player, Eugenie Bouchard who is a legit enough tennis player, who works the tennis circuit like an athlete, but who is inspired by her twin to do more of the IG life, since that is where the real money is…so together…and apart…even though twins are weird and always together…even when apart…especially when they fuck….you know cuz twincest isn’t incest cuz when twins fuck it’s just like masturbation….they were in the fucking womb together…. So when Eugenie is in Florida Training, Beatrice, the hotter one with the fake tits, is in her bikini in Ibiza and doing other socialite on instagram shit, all while having no marketable talent, but tits, half nakedness and followers that advertisers want to reach, which I guess makes it a marketable talent….good hustle. Dude… Meghan Trainor neeeds to get a fucking trainer, especially if this is her whole marketing campaign, unless the no trainer is thee key to making this a successful marketing campaign, celebrate being fat for fat girls everywhere cuz trust me, they are everywhere. She is someone I try to never do posts on….in fact I have never done posts on her…but she was a huge viral sensation, literally and figuratively, a bunch of years back….and she’s made a shit ton of money while inspiring other fat girls to finish their sandwich, or pizza, or burger, or cake, and follow their dreams, because if it works out, they will have all the sandwiches, pizzas, burgers and cake their fat asses desire with all that fat girl money… Like ALL girls who want to get on stage, Meghan Trainor, has followed the lead of all the fat empowered girls that have popped up and said it is OK to be a fat girl who gets naked, it doesn’t necessarily look good, but you’re allowed to do it. They make thongs in your size now, so instinctively, as a girl, you must show that thong off.. So her original fat girl song that was nothing sexual, has found sex, because everything is sex, no matter what the size…and that winning at life, can really fully come to fruition with arrogance, confidence to get on stagee to show the world one of the biggest thongs to ever be on stage, an that that’s ok…even though its not. My theory on it is the same as it has always been. If you are a girl of any size, get naked, we’ll look, maybe even fuck you when drunk, or even fuck you in private as long as no one knows…you can as a pervert find something to stare at during the process to get off to…. If you choose to do it on stage, just do it on stage, without it being some cultural event or brave, you’re a narcissist, fat folk can be narcissists and think they look awesome, so don’t make it out to be anyting more than it is, which is alot, at least if you were to weigh it. I guess what I am saying is that it is funny that EVERY girl is compelled to show their ass. I blame or should I thank social media and the black folk the like fat asses and makes these otherwise gross girls feel their hottest. Weird…. JOIN THE NEWSLETTER YOU ASSHOLES! This Amber Portwood situation keeps getting worse and worse. Which is really saying something, because it was terrible from the very start. You probably know thar Amber was arrested in July after allegedly assaultig her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon. You probably also know about the shocking audio recordings, in which Amber can be heard beating and verbally abusing Glennon . But did you know there was another victim in all this? Well, there is — and now, like so many others before her, she's taking Amber to court. Check it out: 1. Jailbird Amber’s mugshot collection might not be as big as Jenelle Evans’ but the woman is no stranger to police custody. 2. Inmate Mom Amber has been arrested several times before, and she’s even served hard time for her violent ways. 3. Not Her First Rodeo So if anyone understands how the bail bond system works, it’s Amber. But as we’ve seen in the past, knowing that she’s doing wrong is not enough to prevent Portwood from carrying through with her actions. 4. Amber Alert Rather than going the traditional route and using her sizable fortune or taking out a loan to get out of jail, Amber took advantage of an old woman. 5. The Worst According to Starcasm, a woman named Rhonda put up $2,000 to get Portwood out of the clink after her July arrest. And of course, Amber never paid her back. 6. Help Me, Rhonda So who is Rhonda? Well, she’s 60 years old, and she has no apparent ties to Amber, which has led many to the conclusion that she’s simply a fan of the show. View Slideshow
Reality TV producers often find themselves in the position of being forced to pull off a tricky balancing act: They’re tasked with creating a safe and productive work environment — and yet, it’s often they’re most erratic, short-tempered, and even violent cast members who keep the whole operation afloat. Teen Mom OG execs experienced this phenomenon first hand when ratings took a nosedive after Farrah Abraham was fired back in 2017. The latest drama magnet to get the ax, of course, was Jenelle Evans, who was fired from Teen Mom 2 after spending a solid decade demonstrating why she never should have been hired in the first place. There was a time when all the arrests, addictions, and abusive behavior actually made Evans an asset to the show, because … well, as a society, we never really matured past our Jerry Springer phase. Eventually, however, Jenelle took things too far. You probably know the story: Earlier this year, Evans’ husband, David Eason, beat, shot and killed the family dog , an 11-pound puppy named Nugget. Jenelle helped David cover up the crime, and an ensuing CPS investigation determined that her home was not a safe place for children to live. MTV took action as well, finally determining that Jenelle was too much of a legal liability to remain on the cast. Of course, her criminal insanity has made her a major draw from the very first episode of TM2, and there were concerns that her absence would create a drama vacuum. So now that Season 9B is underway, has the lack of Jenelle been felt in the ratings department? Well, as The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reports today , the answer to that complex question is — kind of. Teen Mom 2 was number 3 in the highly coveted 18-49 age demographic for all original cable telecasts last Tuesday night. While the show secured a .40 in sales demo ratings, it came in with only 784,000 viewers. Obviously, that’s a major drop from the series’ heyday when it regularly pulled in more than 1 million viewers per episode. But demo numbers are what really matters, and as long as you’re pulling in a good-sized chunk of the young adult audience, as TM2 is, you’ll always be attractive to advertisers. However, that doesn’t mean producers are sitting pretty. Trajectory is important, and TM2 numbers have been slipping all season. The show started Season 9B with 810,000 viewers and a .45 demo ratings score, but the following week, it slipped to 787,000 viewers and .41 in the demo ratings. As for the Jenelle factor, there’s no denying that Season 9A (the last to feature Evans) enjoyed greater success, with 988,000 viewers and a .48 in demo ratings. But those numbers dipped as the season wore on, and there’s no saying how much this latest fall has to do with Jenelle, and how much of it is just the result of fatigue over a very long-running show. Of course, the drop is not unexpected. Even longtime Jenelle rival Kailyn Lowry admitted that Evans’ absence would likely affect the show’s ratings. “I think that people did watch the show for Jenelle,” Kail told TMZ in May. “I don’t think that can be denied.” “I definitely think the rest of us have enough to keep the franchise going, and I hope that’s what happens,” Fortunately, there’s no cause for Kail and the other moms to be concerned. Teen Mom OG was recently renewed for a tenth season, and The Ashley’s sources tell her MTV is likely to follow suit with TM2. The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter’s last relationship ended with a scary confrontation and her ex-husband’s arrest . But now, a year and a half after she first separated from Matt, Gina is finally prepared to move on. Gina has a new boyfriend named Travis Mullen. Good for her! On Monday, September 30, Gina Kirschenheiter decided to close out the first week of autumn with some news. She shared a pair of images of her and a handsome man laughing together. Gina captioned: “Always find a reason to laugh. It may not add years to your life but will surely add life to your years.” The man in the photos with her is named Travis Mullen. And he is Gina’s new boyfriend! While multiple outlets confirmed Travis’ name, Gina actually sat down with Us Weekly to discuss her new hottie. “His name is Travis,” Gina confirms. “He has nothing to do with this world,” she says, referring to reality televison. Gina emphasizes: “He knows nothing about it. He didn’t know what Us Weekly was.” That’s almost an insult to the tabloid, but it definitely paints a picture of a guy who isn’t already famous and isn’t seeking fame. “Basically, we got set up through a mutual friend,” Gina explains. “And … I don’t think that either of us were expecting to like each other,” she admits. Gina continues: “And then we just did , and he’s a great person.” “He’s a really good guy,” she characterizes. “Really sweet, really kind.” “And,” Gina adds. “It’s nothing like I’ve really experienced in my life before, so I’m just really enjoying being with him.” How long have they been dating, now? “Just a couple of months,” Gina shares somewhat vaguely. We may have to wait until their first anniversary before we learn a date. “So,” she reasons. “It’s still new.” “But we definitely spend a lot of time together,” Gina emphasizes. She then speculates that “feelings developed, you know, quicker than they would if we weren’t able to see each other” as frequently. “We think the same way,” Gina continues. “We have a lot of the same perspectives.” That’s good to hear. After all, Matt Kirschenheiter was also hot as f–k but clearly there were other issues with their marriage. It takes more than looks, sadly. Gina also reveals that Travis has met her three children and that he, too, is already a father. The Brady Bunch comparisons are obvious and, while it’s a little early for that, Gina isn’t exactly quashing that kind of talk. In fact, Gina had admitted that this relationship with Travis has “opened her eyes” to the possibility of one day getting remarried. After the way that things ended up with Matt — who was arrested in June after allegedly hitting, throwing, dragging, and choking her — she’d had her doubts. For now, let’s hope that Travis adjusts to being a secondhand public figure well. Some people, particularly those who don’t follow entertainment news, have no idea what they’re in for when they become famous. View Slideshow: Kelly Dodd: I’m Not Sorry! Source: Joe Amon/MediaNews Group/The Denver Post via Getty Images / Getty Colorado Police Have Shot 51 People In 2019, Highest In The U.S. If you’re planning on visiting Colorado any time soon, be sure you pack your bullet-proof vest… According to Westword , the state has already logged 51 police-related shootings to date in 2019, Colorado is on pace to register the most police shootings in one state this decade. BOSSIP covered one of those fatal shootings earlier this year when police in Colorado Springs shot De’Von Bailey dead while he was running AWAY from their trigger-happy a$$es. A vast majority of incidents where cops discharge their weapons are hardly covered despite the fact that, wait for it, 60% of these shootings results in death! SIXTY PERCENT! To date, no cops have been killed or charged with a crime in these shootings and the prosecutors consider each and every shooting to be 100% justified. Let’s just do the math, 60% of 51 is a little over 30 dead bodies. Now, we don’t know the details of each shooting, but it’s hard to fathom that there are THAT many people putting police in harms way to the extent that all 30+ people had to be killed. Of the 51 incidents 12 of them took place in January and 10 of those happened in 8 days from January 9 to 16. What in the name of Smith & Wesson is going on with Colorado cops and how is the news NOT covering this?!?!
Source: ALASTAIR PIKE / Getty Twitter Rolls Out Anti-Abuse Feature for Direct Messages Twitter has just announced that it is releasing a spam and abuse filter for direct messages , which, for some, is a much-needed feature for the sometimes-toxic social media platform. This new filter will be available on Twitter’s iOS, Android, and Web apps, according to reports from TechCrunch . The company also announced that it had started testing the feature about a month and a half ago. This anti-abuse filter works by adding a new view to the “additional messages” inbox, where DMs from people you don’t follow are sent. If you go and click it, messages that possibly include graphic content also have hidden previews, with the new choice to delete the message without having to read it first. If you’re wondering who would be the target audience for this addition, the new DM feature is beneficial for people who like to keep their direct messages open but don’t want to receive the offensive messages that may come with that. This feature from Twitter definitely feels overdue since abusive content is so common that third-party developers have already created their own filtering tools for similar situations. This is just the latest attempt for the platform to make Twitter a safer, less crazy place. In the beginning of September, Twitter rolled out its “hide replies” feature in the U.S. and Canada. This allows users to have the option of picking which replies to hide without completely deleting them. Are you feeling all of these new Twitter features? We tested, and turns out filters help you cut through the noise to find gems. Who knew. So we’re rolling out this filter to everyone on iOS, Android, and web! — Twitter Support (@TwitterSupport) September 30, 2019
Source: NurPhoto / Getty It seems that the popularity of online shopping has claimed another brick and mortar based business as victim. Forever 21 is in deep financial trouble. High Snobiety is reporting that the fashion retailer has officially filed for bankruptcy . According to The Financial Times the brand plans to restructure their organization in an effort to minimize loss. This includes shutting down up to 300 of their stores across the world. According to the documents filed the Los Angeles, California based company is listing assets and liabilities between $1 billion to $10 billion. In a formal statement listed on their site Forever 21 claims they are not shutting down their operations. “Essentially this allows Forever 21 to continue to operate its stores as usual, while the Company takes positive steps to reorganize the business so we can return to profitability and refocus on delivering incredible styles and fashion you love for many years to come. This does NOT mean that we are going out of business – on the contrary, filing for bankruptcy protection is a deliberate and decisive step to put us on a successful track for the future.” This new filing is just another name in the bucket of retailers who are hemorrhaging money. Eddie Murphy is ready to drop his latest film, Dolemite Is My Name based on the life of the legendary Rudy Ray Moore around the creation of the iconic Dolemite character. The cult classic is bad in fantastic ways. Missed karate kicks, boom mics in the shot, ropes, and wires from rigged sets all in the view of the eye of the camera. It’s fantastic. Dolemite Is My Name stars Eddie Murphy, Wesley Snipes, Mike Epps, Snoop Dogg and more. It’s directed by Craig Brewer who will also direct the Coming To America sequel which is being filmed now. Eddie discovered the Dolemite movie at a young age after his brother Charlie Murphy told him he needed to go to the theater to see the raunchy film, “You gotta go see Dolemite, this shit is crazy.” Eddie goes on to explain how this theater works, “There was a movie theater in Rosevelt, Long Island where they just let you in. That’s the first place I’ve seen a grown person’s titties. It was Pam Grier in Coffey. I might have been 13 or 14. They didn’t even say are your parents here. They just say ‘One for Coffey?’ That’s where I saw Coffey and Dolemite.” During this week’s episode of Extra Butter with Xilla Valentine you can see Eddie Murphy share his thoughts on Jay Z, Master P and Shaggy using his comedy to create songs. The full interview can be seen above, and be sure to check out Dolemite is my name streaming on Netflix this fall.
Source: Prince Williams / Getty Tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood is rife with the typical drama. A1 discovers that Lyrica left him again, but denies hooking up with a girl he met on a plane. He also claims he doesn’t know where his son is because she won’t respond to his phone calls…as if he doesn’t have Lyrica’s mother’s info. Anyway, that is how the episode begins and Lyrica and A1’s drama will be what it is until they decide to be adults and have a real productive conversation, but that doesn’t happen in this episode. However, K. Michelle was the impetus for an interesting conversation about country music. It’s a conversation that has been reignited by Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.” As we know, the Yee Haw Mafia were mad at the fact that “Old Town Road” was considered a country song and as a result, it was removed from Billboard’s country music charts. Then he got an assist from Billy Ray Cyrus, who is undeniably a country artist and who also happily joined Lil Nas X for the “Old Town Road Remix” so, bloop. You can read about that saga here. Before “Old Town Road,” Beyonce faced backlash because she was scheduled to perform “Daddy Lessons” at the Country Music Awards. She still performed the song despite the Yee Haw Mafia being big mad, and she had help from the Dixie Chicks. The haters still hated, but let’s be real, this hate and this push back is because country music is stereotypically known as a White genre. The Yee Haw Mafia thinks it belongs to them but they’re sadly mistaken. Enter K. Michelle. She was recently a guest on Jason Lee’s Hollywood Unlocked , and that incident where she was on stage somewhere in Nashville telling the audience that she can out-sing any White country singer came up again. She mentioned that she was triggered because that particular night was country music night at the venue, and when she tried to get up on stage and sing someone told her that it wasn’t her night. That was code for, “A Black girl couldn’t possibly be singing country music.” Now, K. Michelle is messy and loves attention, but hearing her explanation for why she said what she said actually makes sense. It was presumptuous for that person to say what they said. But guess what? K. Michelle is among the many Black people who are fans of country music, even with the Whitewashing that has taken place. And I bet a lot of you didn’t know that there’s a huge country music scene in the Caribbean . I have been to a few karaoke nights in Barbados where country songs, sung by Black locals, reign supreme. All of my Bajan homies (I’m not Bajan but have visited the country enough to have friends there) mentioned that country music is big in the Caribbean, periodt. I have also seen this in St. Lucia, where my mother-in-law is from. So, yes, Black people like country music. We created it. Yes. We created it. I don’t have much time to go into all of the details because it really is a long complex story, so I’m going to keep this as short as I can. Growing up, I grew up mostly listening to hip-hop, funk, jazz, and rock. When I got to college I began working as a broadcaster for my school’s radio station. They started all the newbies off with the blues because it was the least demanding shift. Part of my job was to announce songs and drop knowledge about the blues. That’s where I learned about how country music came to be. It stems from the blues, which stems from work songs sung by slaves. Black people are some of the most creative people on the planet. For Black Americans, a lot of that creativity was born out of necessity. They had many coded ways to communicate with each other through the use of song and dance. They sang what were known as work songs as a way to pass the time and ease the pain of their awful predicament. They also used work songs to sneak diss the master. Seriously. They would be on the field singing about getting revenge on a lover but really, that “lover” was code for master. Blues is often about pain and what goes around comes around. Get it? What you do to me will come back around to you. It’s brilliant. You can learn more about this concept via the Netflix documentary, Devil at the Crossroads . Anyway, work songs birthed the blues and the blues also spawned hip-hop, folk, jazz, and wait for it…country music. The banjo is a commonly used instrument in country music. It has been a commonly used instrument amongst slaves because it’s straight out of West Africa. The problem is, appropriation is wicked. In the early days, talented Black country music artists were shut out from getting major opportunities while White artists with more access began to discover the genre, copy Black pioneers, and blow up based on stolen work and privilege. Black artists also often didn’t really own their music because many of them signed with corrupt financiers and record labels who would sometimes give their music to White artists or wouldn’t even put them on their own covers. There are a lot of layers to what caused the shift in country music fandom, but it happened, and Black people moved on to other genres. Again, this isn’t to say that Black people stopped liking country music, but Black artists have been abused, blatantly copied, and shamelessly erased. So, if we’re going to talk about the Yeehaw Mafia trying to tell Black artists what country music is and who country music belongs to then we need to tell it all because clearly, people don’t know their history…or pretend to not know it as a way to disassociate from the messed up things their ancestors may have done. Frankly, America can thank the slaves, who built this joint for free, for country music, if not most of its pop culture, including cowboy culture (because one in four cowboys were Black according to the Smithsonian ), especially when it comes to music and dance, and that’s that on that! There were other moments throughout tonight’s Love and Hip-Hop where Apple Watts, K. Michelle and even Misterray touched out the fact that Black people invented country music. They weren’t that eloquent about it but we got the point. However, there’s only so much they could say in such a short amount of time. Missterray even stated that, “If we accept Micky Munday doing hip-hop then they should accept K. Michelle doing country.” Eh…kind of, but again, it’s a lot more complicated than that. Plus, country music does belong to K. Michelle and any Black person who wants to claim it. It’s literally in our DNA. There’s one thing K. Michelle said in the episode that isn’t exactly true. She said that no Black woman has charted in country music. Valerie June is a contemporary country music artist who has charted and has a massive following. I tweeted about Valerie June and then got put on to Mickey Guyton , who I hadn’t previously heard of before. And then of course, there are men, like Darius Rucker of Hootie and the Blowfish, and Ben Harper, who have been putting it down for several years. So, we are present and accounted for. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for enjoying country music and definitely don’t let anyone tell you that “Country music is for White people.” Cuz it ain’t. Tuh! If you are interested in learning more about the history of country music and the shift that took it from Black to super White then check out this interesting NPR article . You can also learn more about work songs via this article by the library of congress. And if you have beef with anything I wrote then take it up with history and yo’ mama.
