Usher Herpes Accuser Blasts Singer’s Gag Order Bid – Wants Truth Out In The Open (Exclusive)

Usher and Laura helm. Getty Images and Instagram Laura Helm Said She Contracted Herpes From Usher Following Two Intimate Encounters The woman who is suing  Usher for knowingly gave her the herpes virus has pleaded with a judge not to OK the singer’s motion to seal evidence in the case. Laura Helm said Usher’s belief that he needs an all-encompassing gag order because he’s such a big star that revelations about his sex life, partners and health coming to light could ruin his rep, are full of hot air. Helm said she has already had to endure embarrassment and humiliation from her herpes diagnosis and from having to publicly accuse Usher over it. “Unfortunately, trials are public and often the contents of a trial are embarrassing, but just because the Defendant is a celebrity does not entitle to him to private confidential trials while the rest of society must display their most embarrassing damages publicly, like the Plaintiff had to do to bring this action for the embarrassing damages caused by the Defendant,” Helm wrote in court docs obtained by BOSSIP. Helm said Usher’s legal bid to put a gag order on her herpes transmission case against him not only violates her and the media’s first amendment rights but the courts legal right to a public record. “It is ironic the Defendant, whose lawyer in this matter makes public statements, now asks this Court to gag the Plaintiff. The Defendant, with his power, money and popularity, requests this Court to silence his victims in the time of #metoo.” The alleged victim is adamant that evidence including both of their “content of medical reports or billing records regarding STDs and herpes or third-party claims for the same” be made public once the case heads to trial. A judge has not yet ruled on Usher’s gag order motion.

Eugenie Bouchard Gets Slutty of the Day

Here’s some Eugene Bouchard, Montreal’s biggest name since Celine Dion, in some half nakedness for social media that I assume is from her Sports Illustrated shoot because all these girls like being specialized sexualized… This is when Tennis turns into fetish porn…even though tennis is my fetish…and my porn but not at the professional level. They are all tanks with far too much muscle….massive women…but the concept of tennis, skirts and grunts and panty flashes. Intense enough to get me banned from most local tennis clubs… The post Eugenie Bouchard Gets Slutty of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .

Amelia Gray Hamlin Hard Nipples of the Day

Young girls don’t wear bras. It is the style that allows them to get attention without seeming Shameless even though they are rich kids with Shameless parents grown up and raised in the slums of Beverly Hills where the family idolizes the Kardashians and their money and want their young sluts on the same hustle…because LA is the hub of the worst humans ever…with the worst approach to life…and the worst morals and values and their kids are the pawns they raised that are even worse…. Point of the story is – we like looking at the nips in wifebeaters… I remember a time when it was so rare to see a braless wifebeater…that when you did you’d get pretty excited and even in this desensitized world…I still find it pretty great. Claire Foy Reveals That Lakeith Stanfield Didn’t Want To Be Her Friend | Extra Butter

Read the rest here:

On this episode of Extra Butter with Xilla Valentine , I head out to Rome, Italy to sit down with my girl Claire Foy to check out her new movie The Girl In The Spider’s Web . In this film, she plays the role of Lisbeth Salander who has to steal a computer program that can access codes for nuclear weapons worldwide from Lakeith Stanfield who plays Alona Casales. When the stakes are this high the NSA is bound to be on the case, so they track the activity all the way to Stockholm. Things go off the wall when Russian thugs take Lisbeth’s laptop and kidnap a math whiz who can actually make the program work. This is when Lisbeth gets the help of and an unlikely ally to try to save the boy and recover the codes to avert disaster. One of the highlights of the film is the great acting by Lakeith and Claire, that director Fede Alveres explains their chemistry was beautiful to watch develop saying, “They are apart for a long time, but a big part of the story is Lakeith going after her and you can’t wait for him to get to her to see what’s going to happen because both of them are very capable at what they do. I think the audience never expects to see where it goes.” It was great to see these two develop magic. I asked Claire about Lakeith and she was very intrigued by the Atlanta star revealing he left her mesmerized, “I love Lakeith, I can listen to him talk for hours and the man is incredible young which I find terrifying. I love him, I think he so fascinating, he is an amazing actor. I think he is brilliant. We had a couple of nights where I just sat and went what do you think about this and what do you think about this? and Why? and What’s this? Yeah… I love him.” While her love for Lakeith was on one hunnid, his love for her might not have been on the same level. “I tried really hard to become his friend,” Claire explains that things didn’t go her way, adding. “Maybe I made him feel a little uncomfortable and he was like step back a little bit.” Maybe they’ll never be best friends forever, but they do a great job acting in scenes together. The Girl In The Spider’s Web is in theaters November 9th. Check out my interview with Claire Foy and you get to see me riding through the streets of Rome on a Vespa and roaming through the Colosseum then closing this episode out with one of the most beautiful backdrops ever.

See the original post here:

Source: Jessica McGowan / Getty With so much uncertainty the day after the Elections in Georgia, many people are wondering, what’s next for the Governor’s race?  Brian Kemp and  Stacey Abrams after running at about 50% v 49% respectively. In Georgia a candidate has to receive more than 50% of the votes, if not the other candidate can request a run off be held. Georgia is the only state that uses the majority voting runoff system for general elections. If a run off were to take place, if would be held on Tuesday, December 4th. Any voter registered before Oct. 9th, will be eligible in the runoff election. Dolezal-ing: These White Models Are Being Called Out For Allegedly Trying To Turn Themselves Into Black Women And You’ve GOT To See The Pics

White Models Cosplay As Black Women It started pretty innocently with a video of the above model, Emma Hallberg, going viral online. Everyone who saw the video assumed she was black. Why wouldn’t they? She’s damn near mahogany and speaking in all sorts of code-switched black vernacular. One problem: she’s not even close to black. As more pics and profiles hit the net, it became clear: there’s a whole a$$ epidemic of white women going all out to dress up as black women. And, no, we’re not just talking about Jennerdashians. These women do the hair, the makeup, the eyes and darken their skin. It’s a whole black woman aesthetic. These women are getting dragged for it, too. What do you think? Is this blackface? “Blackfishing” as the internet calls it? Or are they just following trends? Take a look…

Ben Jealous Falls Short In His Bid To Become Maryland’s First Black Governor

Read the original here:

B en Jealous  fell short in his effort to become governor of Maryland when he lost the election on Tuesday night to incumbent Republican Gov. Larry Hogan. NBC News projected Hogan’s win. The former NAACP president had been leaning on his roots in civil rights in his unsuccessful bid to become the first African-American governor in Maryland. While Jealous, 45, had been consistently polling behind Hogan, he made some strong moves ahead of Election Day, including recruiting legendary comedian Dave Chappelle to knock on doors and encourage people to vote for him. One major platform that appealed to Black people, in particular, was Jealous’ plan to increase funding for and bring better academic programs to the states historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). “I’ve put a detailed plan on the table to ensure that we finally treat our state’s HBCUs fairly,” Jealous recently told the AFRO. “We’ve been underfunding public higher education for too long and we need to reorient our state’s priorities back towards making sure we’re preparing our kids for the workforce. As governor, I’m committed to putting an end to this lawsuit and fulfilling the state’s obligations to our HBCUs.” Jealous won the state’s Democratic primary in late June to add to be one of three Black people running for governor, along with Florida’s Andrew Gillum and Georgia’s Stacey Abrams. Andrew Gillum Barely Loses Florida Governor Race By The Slimmest of Margins

A ndrew Gillum  barely fell short on Tuesday night in his historic campaign to become the first Black governor of Florida’s next governor. CNN projected that the contentious election would go to Republican and former Congressman Ron DeSantis , who edged the mayor of Tallahassee by the slimmest of margins that, in classic Florida fashion, could result in a recount. Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum: “We didn't win it tonight. We didn't win this transaction. But I want you all to know that is just it, a transaction, that what we believe in still holds true today.” https://t.co/QF15MHrJt2 #ElectionNight pic.twitter.com/RfsNpoY8y4 — ABC News (@ABC) November 7, 2018 Andrew Gillum concedes to GOP Rep. Ron DeSantis in Florida's gubernatorial race: “We recognize that, you know, we didn't win it tonight. We didn't win this transaction.” https://t.co/QF15MHrJt2 #Midterm2018 pic.twitter.com/lFYbOlVgJs — ABC News (@ABC) November 7, 2018 With 48.9 percent of the vote, Gillum, who earned more than 3.9 million votes, lost to DeSantis by a single percentage point, according to CNN’s count . Gillum, 39, cast his own ballot for himself late Tuesday morning at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Tallahassee. He and his wife, R. Jai, and used a moment of levity for what was the biggest moment of his young but accomplished political career, according to the Tallahassee Democrat . “I voted for you,” R. Jai told her husband, who responded in front of a throng of supporters: “Okay, my wife voted for me.” ELECTION RESULTS: Follow NewsOne’s Midterm Election Coverage Here The election, however, was anything but a laughing matter. The post-primary Florida gubernatorial campaign has been marred by overt acts of racism from the DeSantis, whose distinguished record of racism has been well documented for years. On top of that negative distraction, Gillum was polling by as many as seven percentage points and as few as three over DeSantis, depending on which survey was being cited. The distinction between the two became clearer when they faced off twice for gubernatorial debates, during which Gillum showed his mastery of Florida policy while reducing DeSantis to racist dog-whistling attacks instead of substantive talking points. Aside from warning Florida voters not to “monkey this up” by electing Gillum, the Republican’s white supremacist supporters funded racist robocalls to Floridians that included monkey sounds. There was even the apparent FBI probe into Gillum allegedly inappropriately receiving tickets to the hit Broadway show “Hamilton,” but that issue seemed to fade pretty quickly after DeSantis tried to make it into a bigger deal than it was during the debates. Still, Gillum found the time to remain an effective mayor while waging a legitimate run for governor, even suspending his own campaign twice to deal with natural disaster striking Florida as well as a deadly shooting in Tallahassee. Andrew Gillum Concedes Gubernatorial Race In Florida To Republican Ron DeSantis

Image via Chris O’Meara-Pool/Getty Images Andrew Gillum Concedes Florida Governor Race To Ron DeSantis Despite a swell of support and an influx of 11th-hour celebrity endorsements , Andrew Gillum has conceded the Florida gubernatorial race to Republican opponent Ron DeSantis. Despite numbers that were deemed “too close to call” at the hour by NBC — Gillum secured 48.9& of the vote while Desantis held 49.9% — the democratic candidate announced his concession in a speech given from his Tallahassee campaign headquarters around 10:45 PM. As he stated in his speech (via NBC News ): “Even though I won’t be the next governor of Florida, I still plan to be on the front lines. We still have to be willing to show up every single day and demand our seat at the table. I still believe and I still trust in the voters. I still believe that there is more of us that believe in what is common and what is decent.” A BIG loss for the democratic party and the anticipated “Blue Wave” this election was set to bring. We’ll continue watching the poll results this evening to give you further updates on integral races. Wilfredo Lee-Pool/Getty Images/Chris O’Meara-Pool/Getty Images
