Ho Sit Down: Super Wankster Tucker Carlson Reneges On Michael Vick Execution Statement

Oh now this douchebag wants to take back his words : Tucker Carlson returned to “Hannity” on Monday and walked back his statement that footballer Michael Vick “should’ve been executed” for his abuse of dogs. He had made the statement on last Tuesday’s show after it emerged that President Obama had spoken with Vick. Sean Hannity joked that he’d read that Carlson was “destroying the show” during his break and asked him to explain his comments. “This is what happens when you get too emotional,” Carlson said. “I’m a dog lover, I love them and…I know a lot about what Michael Vick did…I overspoke. I’m uncomfortable with the death penalty in any circumstance. Of course I don’t think he should be executed, but I do think that what he did is truly appalling.” Source

A few days ago, it was reported that Talib Kweli and his wife Ike Turner DJ Eque got into a verbal and physical altercation at his listening party in NYC. Talib took to his Twitter account claiming that the allegations made in regards to his wife beating his azz, like he stole some money, were not true… Check Out His Twitter PR Statement: “Although we argued none of the rest of it is true. Kim Kardashian has bad news for all professional athletes: she doesn’t plan on dating again over the next calendar year. “I want to try to be single my whole year of being 30,” Kim said during an appearance on The Rachael Ray Show today. “I’ve never just dated and done whatever I wanted.” On one hand, Kim thinks remaining single will be simple – “I have a hundred different jobs,” she lies. “When do I have time to really focus on someone?” – but on another, she’s already backing off the statement she just made. “I’ve made a promise to myself and I’m really trying hard to stick to it, but I’m such a hopeless romantic that it’s hard. I don’t think that’s going to last, because that’s just how I am. But the fact that I’m trying is a big step for me!” We can think of one way to keep the men away, Kim: show them your family’s frightening Christmas card .

In a shockingly flippant comment to a Canadian television news anchor Evan Solomon of the CBC News Network on live TV, Tom Flanagan, a senior advisor and strategist to the Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper today called for the assassination of Wikileaks director Julian Assange . It is believed to be the first ever televised “fatwa” since the edict by the Iranian leadership of the late Ayatollah Khomeini against British writer Salman Rushdie in February 1989. Remember that surprisingly serious trailer for Cowboys & Aliens ? Well, supposedly we can expect the same dark tone in the actual film. Jon Favreau has said that the film is a straight Sergio-Leone-style western crossed with Ridley Scott’s Alien . That sounds great! But apparently Universal is very worried that audiences are expecting a silly action-comedy instead. Hmm. This seems a bit disingenuous considering that the movie is called, um… Cowboys & Aliens . If this is the title they decided on while hoping to market a “deadly serious” film, I can only imagine the list of titles they rejected. And so, in Movieline tradition , here is that list.

There have already been a number of phemenomenal tributes to the late Leslie Nielsen, but now Airplane and Naked Gun co-writer/director David Zucker has penned one and it’s both heartwarming and hilarious. There is one brief, eyebrow-raising moment where Zucker writes: “Offscreen, he wasn’t so much of a joke or storyteller…” Fortunately, he immediately qualifies this statement by saying that Nielsen preferred practical jokes and that “the stories are legion about the fart machine…” Too perfect. Let’s go to the videos.
