Justin Bieber may or may not hate Jewish people . But the singer most definitely likes Hailee Steinfeld, according to a fairly reliable source. According to TMZ, the polarizing singer has started a relationship with the young and talented actress, who is currently filming Pitch Perfect 3, following her fun turn in Pitch Perfect 2. Insiders tell the celebrity gossip website that Bieber and Steinfeld have been “seeing each other for” just over a month, which is obviously not a very long period of time. But this is Justin Bieber we’re talking about here. He often just loves models and leaves models, meaning one month is actually pretty substantial in this artist’s dating world. Sources add that Bieber and Steinfeld met through pastor Carl Lentz, as both attend his church. The 20-year old actress attended last night’s MET Gala in New York City, solo. But she didn’t remain solo for long. Consider the following Instagram photo, snapped late Monday evening by an astute social media user in The Big Apple: Steinfeld was an Oscar nominee at the age of 14 for her role in True Grit. She has since appeared in such films as Romeo & Juliet, Ender’s Game and The Edge of Seventeen; and even has a smash hit song on her resume, “Starving.” Bieber, meanwhile, is best known romantically for having dated Selena Gomez off and on for a number of years. Since they official split, he’s dated Sofia Richie and Hailey Baldwin, while allegedly having a lot of sex with Kourtney Kardashian . He was most recently linked to someone named  Luciana Chamone , who fits the classic Justin Bieber love interest bill: She’s young, relatively unknown, she makes headlines for a day or two and then we never really hear from her or about her again. This doesn’t describe Steinfeld, however. She’s a star on the rise. She can act and she can sing. She’s the real deal. Does this mean Bieber is ready to get serious? We can’t say for certain. But Steinfeld is considered a very serious young woman in Hollywood. As mentioned above, she’s an Academy Award nominee and she also wants to produce and direct down the line. Back in 2011, Steinfeld and Bieber presented together at the Golden Globe Awards, meaning their friendship goes back quite a long time. There’s also a reason why this relationship will not work out, however: Steinfeld is friends with Taylor Swift. She appeared in her “Bad Blood” music video two years ago.
