Yes, for the third time this week 1D devotees are royally pissed. First they were incensed when Liam Payne made a possibly homophobic statement . Then they got angry again when Liam posted a gun photo to Twitter . But this time, Payne is off the hook, as the anger revolves around a different member of the boy band. Specifically, Zayn Malik who they believe was accused by Jon Stewart of cooperating with ISIS and Hamas. No really, that’s that they think. Here’s the offending footage: The Daily Show: Zayn Malik Joke? Clearly, a dead-serious news report of the variety that the long-running Comedy Central series is known for. Within minutes, the hashtag #DailyShowGoneTooFar hit Twitter. It quickly became the site’s number one trending topic. Even though he was never mentioned by name, One Directioners believe Malik to be the target of the joke because he’s a practicing Muslim. NASCAR star Tony Stewart will not face criminal charges resulting from the death of Kevin Ward Jr., who was struck and killed by Stewart in a race this summer. A grand jury investigating the case decided earlier today to close the potential case against Stewart, citing no evidence of legal wrongdoing on his part. Tony Stewart Kills Kevin Ward Jr. On the night of his death, Kevin Ward Jr. was killed by Stewart’s car , a tragedy by any measure, but one that many felt also may have been a criminal act. Ward got out of his car and aggressively moved toward Stewart’s vehicle, which hit him seconds later and was seen in a video that shocked the sports world. There was suspicion after the accident that Stewart was angry with Ward Jr. over an incident earlier in the race and may have intentionally swerved into him. He denied this, and apparently the grand jury agreed, determining that it was nothing more than an accident and declining to pursue a case against him. Investigators claimed to have “enhanced video” of the crash that killed Ward. Whatever it included that the viral clip did not, it didn’t sway the grand jury. Officials say the footage, raw or enhanced, did not show Tony making any sudden or suspicious moves on the track before the collision with Ward. Investigators also say that experts reenacted the crash and evaluated factors such as the speed of Tony’s car, reaction times, distance and more. None of that suggested any foul play, ill intent or even anything out of the ordinary regarding Stewart’s driving, no matter what bad blood may have existed. Officials also say Kevin Ward Jr. was high on marijuana at the time of his death, though this did not impact whether or not to pursue a case against Stewart. NASCAR star Tony Stewart is under police investigation after taking the life of fellow driver Kevin Ward Jr. in a horrific accident yesterday during the Empire Super Sprints series event in Canandaigua, New York. Ward was 20 years old. His vehicle had crashed into an outside wall after being clipped by another driver (believed to be Stewart). Ward proceeded to exit his car walk on to the track to confront Stewart. In the following video, you can see Ward pointing his finger and yelling, as one car swerves to avoid him and then Stewart’s No. 14 plows into him. Tony Stewart Kills Kevin Ward Jr. Ward was taken to the hospital and died of the injuries sustained in the crash. Stewart dropped out today’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race in response to the tragedy, saying via statement: “There aren’t words to describe the sadness I feel about the accident that took the life of Kevin Ward Jr. It’s a very emotional time for all involved, and it is the reason I’ve decided not to participate in today’s race at Watkins Glen. Fashion Police host Joan Rivers for comments made in her new book. via Jezebel Kristen Stewart has allegedly gotten litigious with Joan Rivers — does the Twilight malcontent think this is wise? Rivers told paparazzi cameras (via New York’s Daily News and TMZ) that Stewart’s lawyer contacted her lawyer over the comedian’s a passage in her upcoming book, Diary of a Mad Diva. In the humor project which debuts next month, Rivers writes: “Many stars only do one thing well. Of course, the best one-trick-pony is Kristen Stewart, who got a whole career by being able to juggle a director’s balls.” Naturally, Stewart is upset while Rivers says it’s just a joke. “She obviously didn’t read our disclaimer, which is that it’s a comedy book.” Rivers closed by saying Stewart should be glad she isn’t a Kardashian — today, more specifically Khloé — because they’re mentioned “a lot more in the book” as are a number of other female celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Lena Dunham and Taylor Swift.
