The rapper and actor is part of an investment group that is hoping to purchase 22 regional sports stations. The Blast reports : According to our sources, the legendary rapper is joining forces with Carolyn Rafaelian, the founder of popular bangle brand Alex and Ani, in a bid to buy 22 regional sports television stations. Sources close to the deal tell The Blast that Rafaelian “is going in huge on this” with Ice Cube and will be investing heavily in the deal. Rafaelian, based on the success of the Alex and Ani brand, is #21 on the Forbes list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women. She was also named “America’s richest jeweler.” She was also named one of People Magazine’s “25 Woman Changing the World.” Cube is also being joined by his partners in the Big3 basketball league in making the bid. According to the Wall Street Journal and also mentioned by the outlet, the stations are valued at $25 billion. Justin Bieber is sporting a scary new haircut — just in time for Halloween! That’s right — he’s no longer sporting that long, dirty blond hair. Instead, he’s shaved his head. The results are, honestly, a little jarring. We hope Justin’s wife likes it. Take a look: Like we said, this boy went and shaved off all of his hair. Justin shared this selfie to his Instagram Stories. We don’t know what brought this on — perhaps some impulse. We also don’t know why he distorted the image from the selfie so heavily. (Are clearly visible photos boring, now?) It’s a pretty radical change from how his hair has looked earlier this year. In fact, back in May, Justin gleefully showed off his hair. “Long hair don’t care,” he told his followers on Instagram. “And my stash is gorgeous.” He meant to write “stache,” but we’ve all made typos, especially on social media. While his creepy mustache made him look like someone you’d cross the street to avoid, his hair could have looked nice. “I’m going to grow my hair down to my toes,” Justin wrote at one point on Instagram. It seems that his plans have changed. Justin didn’t really seem to do anything to style his hair. (Some openly wondered if he even showered on a daily basis, because his hair often looked … not so good) While women — especially celebrity women — are often expected to maintain their appearance, men are often given a free pass. Justin may find long hair to be a pain to maintain. He clearly didn’t want to put in the work. Since he’s already a celebrity — and he’s married — maybe he decided that looking good isn’t worth the effort. We guess that he can just rely upon his torso to catch people’s attention instead of his hair. Oh, wait, Justin plastered his torso with 100 hours of tattoos . Well, he still has a good shape. And, like we said, maybe he truly stopped caring about his looks because he’s married. That’s a shame, because Hailey is a model and you know that she’s going to keep putting effort into her own appearance — including her hair. This is probably just a taste of the impulsive decisions that Hailey is going to have to grin and bear. Just a few weeks ago, Justin and Hailey stopped by a salon and got their hair trimmed together. We guess that Justin isn’t up for repeating that experience. This is not the first time that he’s shocked fans by mowing off his mane. Back in 2016, Justin shaved his head. At the time, he had turned his then-platinum hair into controversial dreadlocks. (Some celebrities are so far in the bubble that they’ve never heard of cultural appropriation) Sometimes, celebrities find it freeing to cut their hair dramatically. Those stars are usually women, who are told by managers and by media that their hair needs to be styled in certain ways. We’re not sure that Justin was carrying out some grand act of rebellion. But at the end of the day, it’s his hair and hsi body and he can do whatever he likes to it. That said, you can still have an opinion about his new look. Some people will even like it. Speaking of drama that seemingly isn’t going to end any time soon, Nicki Minaj used the tenth episode of her Queen Radio show to discuss last month’s rather infamous fight at Harper’s Bazaar’s ICON party involving her camp and Cardi B during New York Fashion Week. And Cardi responded! First, Nicki hopped on Queen radio and claimed that the knot on Cardi’s head from the party was from Rah Ali hitting her and not security. Minaj also said that Cardi attempted to take footage of the fight from her security, also adding she would be willing to pay anybody who steps forward with the footage a cool $100,000. At least as far as debates go, that is. Stacey Abrams , the Democratic nominee who could become Georgia’s first Black governor, easily came across as more informed, more measured, more composed and simply more on top of the issues than her two opponents, Republican nominee Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp and Libertarian nominee Ted Metz. The first debate between @staceyabrams and @BrianKempGA tackled hot-button issues like voting access, Medicaid expansion and the candidates' finances. #GAGovDebate https://t.co/Q481cNJh8A — Twitter Moments (@TwitterMoments) October 24, 2018 Abrams had her talking points ready when needed but also was able to naturally improvise with ease in answering a variety of questions. And then came Metz, who was sporting a marijuana leaf pin on his lapel and continuously touted the many miracles that he said hemp use could accomplish. He just seemed happy to be there more than anything else. There were also several moments of levity, whether all of the candidates knew it or not. Like when Kemp inexplicably referenced “Jesus” who lives on “Heaven Street” as an example of attempted voter fraud that he said he fights hard to quash. But in the end, it was pretty one-sided, with Abrams emerging as the clear victor. However, as well remember just about two years ago, good debate performances and solid polling can mean nothing. With that said, here’s are the top five takeaways from Georgia’s gubernatorial debate Tuesday night. Brian Kemp is a voter suppression denier. He simply doesn’t believe it exists, which is especially scary considering nearly half of voters polled indicated they would vote for him. “This farce about voter suppression”… “is absolutely not true,” Kemp said at one point. Abrams had her priorities straight, explaining that instead of keeping the undocumented community in the shadows, they could join contributing members of society who could help grow the state’s economy. A major secret was revealed on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation this week. And a major bombshell was dropped. Ready for a recap of events, which mostly served as a warm-up for what looks to be the most insane episode of all-time next Thursday night? Let’s do this… The installment centered around Deena Cortese and husband Christopher Buckner hosting a gender reveal party at their home in The Garden State. “I can’t wait anymore. I’m dying,” Deena said while waiting for a color-coded smoke signal to alert her and her loved ones to the sex of her impending child. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro had not told anyone he was coming to the event, but he showed up nevertheless — keep that in mind, okay? First, however, blue smoke rose up in the air, Chris screamed “YEAH!” and Deena explained why they were both so pleased to discover they were having a son. “Now I can name my son after Chris and my dad,” said Cortese, whose father passed away in June of 2016. Ronnie, meanwhile, actually pulled Deena aside and touched our hearts by telling her it was important for him to be on hand. He felt awful that he missed her father’s funeral back in the day. Of course, the last his friends had seen of Ronnie, he had been dragged by a car down the street and was all over the news due to this literal run-in with baby mama Jen Harley. “I feel like I’m seeing a ghost,” Snooki said of his appearance at the party, while Vinny compared Ronne to Bigfoot for a similar reason. What was it liked getting DRAGGED ON THE PAVEMENT BY A MOVING VEHICLE ? “It was an accident,” insisted Ronnie, adding that he and Harley (who share a young daughter named Ariana) are somehow still trying to work things out. “What the hell is this kid doing?” Vinny asked during a confessional. The roommates then gathered to celebrate the birthdays of The Situation and Pauly D at a Dave & Busters. Appropriately, Mike got a cheeseburger cake, while Pauly got an Italian flag cake. After going to town on the “foods,” the honorees opened their gifts. Among other items, Mike received a police hat (LOL because he’s off to prison for tax evasion ) and Pauly received a bedazzled megaphone. Did the group want to go to Atlantic City with him for his next gig, Pauly wondered? Everyone except Snooki said they were in: Deena with Chris; Mike with his fiancee, Lauren; Angelina Pivarnick with her fiance; and Ronnie said Jen would meet them there. Wait, WHAT?!? The clique was was stunned. JWOWW even spit out her wine! Hadn’t Harley just been arrested for domestic battery after she allegedly hit Ronnie in the face and dragged him with her car?!? That’s a rhetorical question. The answer is yes. “Can I get everyone’s attention for a second,” Ronne said during the group’s steak dinner in Atlantic City? “So, obviously, there’s a lot of stuff that’s been going on with me and Jen, and she is in town and she’s here, and I would love for her to be with us this weekend. Would you guys mind if she would come to Pauly’s gig tomorrow and just hang out? We’re all a family. I wanna put it out there, and I don’t wanna make people feel uncomfortable.” JWOWW spit out some more wine at this point and Vinny killed us by adding: “I mean, she can come. I’ve always wanted to be on TMZ!” “What the f-ck, Ron?” Jenni later told cameras. “You didn’t go to Seaside ’cause you were dragged by a car, and now you’re like, ‘Yeah, be cool with her.’ Like, I don’t know where to go with this. This is next level mindf-ckery.” Despite Ronnie assuring his pals that it was alll good because he and Jen were attending couples therapy, Vinny also had his doubts. “Ron is telling us that the fighting with Jen has ended,” he said in a confessional, concluding: “That’s like him saying that the fighting with Sam has ended, which we all know has never ended. Obviously, we’re all terrified. He’s gonna do what he wants anyway, so there’s not much we can do.” And, with that basically, we faded to black. If you’ve been watching Jersey Shore Family Vacation , you’re probably well aware that the relationship between Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley is far from healthy. Ron is prone to fits of anger (or “ron-pages,” if you prefer), but for the most part, fans have piled the bulk of the blame on Jen — and for good reason. After all, this is the woman who dragged Ron in her car during an argument, leaving him badly injured. The cause of the altercation was Jen’s previous batsh-t behavior, which includes disappearing with their daughter and sending Ron on a mad search across Las Vegas, like he was stuck in some completely non-funny version of The Hangover . Needless to say, Jen and Ron have a lot of problems. In fact, it sounds as though there are only two paths forward for little Ariana’s parents at this point: They can either break up or begin therapy and commit themselves to the hard work of tearing their relationship down to its foundations and beginning anew. Of course, Jen doesn’t see it that way. She thinks the solution to her many romantic problems is easy and obvious: According to Jen, it’s all Ron’s fault, and he can fix everything by simply quitting Jersey Shore . Cutting off one’s sole source of income shortly after welcoming a child may sound foolish, but Jen explained the brilliance behind her plan while she was bored on a recent flight and decided to host an Instagram AMA: “So bored! Another 2 hours left!! Entertain me! Ask away, be nice,” Jen wrote. Fans were quick to oblige, and while most of the questions were along the lines of “WTF is your deal?” some offered more nuanced inquiries: “I know you won’t answer this but how do you like being on Jersey Shore,” one fan asked. “Honestly the show has been the route [sic] to all our problems,” Jen answered. “Would you want Ron to quit JS to make ur relationship better and peaceful?” another asked. “DUH,” Jen replied, in not-at-all-obnoxious fashion. In case there was any doubt about Jen’s distaste for the show that made her (in)famous, she went on to make it quite clear that she’s not a fan: “How do you feel seeing yourself on Jersey Shore?” another follower asked. “I legit do not watch the show.” Hmm … you might want to tune in this week, Jen.
