Aretha Franklin Criticizes Kim Kardashians Parenting Plans Word recently hit the street that Kimmy Cakes was planning to take her little Yeezy bundle on the road when Kanye starts his tour, and amongst the naysayers, was the queen of Soul Aretha Franklin. Ace Showbiz Aretha Franklin apparently is concerned about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby. A TMZ photographer, who met Franklin during her outing in New York, told her about the couple’s alleged plan to bring their baby on West’s tour and asked if she would do the same. The 71-year-old singer replied that she would not do it. “I wouldn’t,” Franklin said. She added, “I can’t speak for anyone else, but I wouldn’t.” Well, there you have it. And we’re thinking this definitely isn’t the worst that will be said in response to Kim’s reported decision to tote their tot on tour. Might be a better idea to leave the lil home Kim. Just sayin’.

Man Sets Neighbor’s Yard On Fire According to Fox Atlanta Authorities say a man who allegedly set a neighbor’s yard on fire in Cartersville on Wednesday has turned himself in to authorities in North Carolina. Cartersville police say 58-year-old Phillip Roger Bennett is a suspect in an arson that occurred on Boatner Avenue in Cartersville. Police said that Bennett had been involved in an apparent feud with Marty Corbitt, who lives across the street from Bennett. Corbitt said that he’s lived at the home about four years and had gotten along with Bennett until last week. Corbitt said that Bennett starting complaining about the length of his grass. “My grass is too tall for him. I was going to cut it today when he set it on fire,” Corbitt said. Corbitt said that he was watching cartoons with his 3-year-old daughter, Kylie, when Bennett came over with two gas cans and a lighter. “And then he grabs the gas can, starts pouring it into the kitchen. As he’s pouring, he takes his lighter and lights it. Flames were everywhere,” Corbitt said. As flames erupted around him, Corbitt grabbed his daughter and got out of the burning home that belonged to his grandmother. Corbitt said he lost everything in the fire. His daughter was most worried about losing her tricycle, but within hours, some neighbors went out and bought her a new one. Police called Bennett armed and dangerous, and said he has an extensive criminal history, including serving time for aggravated assault and voluntary manslaughter. The 58-year-old turned himself in to U.S. Marshals on Thursday morning in Murphy, North Carolina. The Marshals were able to make contact with Bennett by phone, and they talked him into surrendering, according to Cartersville police. Bennett was taken to the county jail in Murphy, N.C., and will be transported back to Cartersville as soon as possible. Bennett faces charges of arson and aggravated assault. Wonder how she would feel about that if she were alive. “They Don’t Know” contains previously unheard vocals from the late singer, and Brown shot a music video for the song in Los Angeles last weekend. “I shot it in the hood. I went to 60th Street and Cedar Block,” Brown said. “[I’m] bringing worlds together and trying to uplift the poverty side of the community and show them where I’m from. Nannies are having a bad week… Staten Island Nanny Arrested For Throwing And Beating 2 Small Children On Camera Via NYPost : A vicious Staten Island nanny that was caught on camera beating and tossing around two babies pleaded guilty yesterday to child endangerment, authorities said. Mamura Nasirova, 52, repeatedly abused a 5-month-old girl and her 17-month-old brother in a Grasmere home on Woodlawn Avenue, according to a Criminal Court complaint. She allegedly shook and kicked the children, hit the boy with a bottle, and put her hand on their mouths. She was caught on a camera secretly hidden in a carbon monoxide detector, and busted Feb. 3. She faces ten months in jail after pleading guilty to two counts of child endangerment, and could face deportation back to her native Uzbekistan, authorities said. Her visa has expired. During the investigation, new footage emerged showing her cruelty. A law-enforcement source said that she could be seen “hurling these defenseless children around like rag dolls” in the horrific footage. Neighbors claim the monsters are scaring neighborhood kids and ruining the hillside aesthetic of the area below Lake Hollywood. “There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they’re literally frightened. It’s like devils on the wall — big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we’re used to,” said Patti Negri, president of the Hollywood Dell Civic Assn. The above was Chris’ twitter response to Patti’s comment. Responding to complaints about the monster art, L.A. city code officials cited Brown for unpermitted and excessive signage and ordered him to remove the art within 30 days. He also faces fines that start at $376 but could rise significantly if he fails to comply. Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, said the musician is not backing down. He says it’s the neighbors who are harassing Brown. “I’m scared of neighborhood busybodies like this,” Geragos said. “They’ve called animal control. They have sicced parking [enforcement] on him, and now they reached the heights of ridiculousness here. Shame on them.” Geragos said the city can expect a legal fight over Brown’s personal artwork, which unwittingly thrust him into one of L.A.’s longest-running civic debates. Although the city has a reputation for being the street mural capital of the world, much of that artwork has been done illicitly. City ordinances make it illegal to create murals on the vast majority of private properties. “They are trying to suspend the 1st Amendment,” Geragos said. In early May, Brooke Mueller was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold, while the twins she shares with Charlie Sheen were taken away from her . And now we may know why. According to TMZ sources, a man in the company of Mueller at her home called 911 and told an operator that she assaulted him. When authorities arrived, Brooke was clearly in another (likely substance-related) world, rambling about her connections to the mafia and how she was working with the FBI to “bring” Sheen “down.” The four-year olds were home at the time, which prompted police to call the Los Angeles Country Department of Children and Family Services. Due to an open case with the agency, officials stepped in and placed Mueller on the three-day hold. They then took her to UCLA Medical Center, with sources confirming Adderall as the basis for Mueller’s breakdown. Yes, that’s the same drug Lindsay Lohan apparently cannot live without.
