Rick Ross Shooting: Who Tried to Off the Rapper?

Details of this morning’s Rick Ross shooting are still sketchy at this time, and it’s not like the rapper hasn’t been in this situation before. So who tried to kill him? Police in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., are gathering surveillance footage from the scene where Ross crashed his car after being targeted in a drive-by shooting . While driving with his girlfriend Shateria L. Moragne-el, Ross smashed his Rolls-Royce into an apartment building in attempt to flee from bullets fired at him. Security cameras at a building across the street were rolling this morning, and police are hoping they may get a glimpse at the shooter and/or the vehicle. As of now, no suspects have been identified and no arrests made. So who tried to take out Rick Ross? It could be anyone … especially given the hip-hop figure’s propensity for trouble. In the past five years alone: YouTube entertainer DJ Vlad sued Ross for assault and battery; Vlad claimed Ross organized an ambush of him at the 2008 Ozone Awards. Ross started an ongoing feud with rapper 50 Cent because he supposedly “looked at him the wrong way” at the BET Awards. One-time drug kingpin “Freeway” Ricky Ross sued Rick Ross for using his name, filing a copyright infringement lawsuit in Federal Court. A body of a known armed robbery convict and auto thief, identified as Gregory Paul Nesbitt, was found outside of Ross’ house in 2012. Shots were fired during his fight with Young Jeezy at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards, an incident that was partially caught on video. Most recently, and perhaps most relevantly, Ross received a death threat from Gangster Disciples , a Chicago gang, earlier this winter. Who do you think was behind the Rick Ross shooting?

Bad day for the birthday boy… Rick Ross’ Rolls Royce Crashes Into Apartment After Being Shot At Via Miami Herald A Rolls-Royce crashed into a building on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale early Monday. Police are on the scene of the accident, which also reportedly involved a shooting. WSVN-Channel 7 is reporting that shots were fired at the Rolls in which a “famous rapper” was riding before the car went into the building. Police are on the street marking bullet shells in the 1500 block of Las Olas. The road is shut down to traffic. At around 5 a.m., several people in the neighborhood overheard shots fired, said Fort Lauderdale Detective DeAnna Garcia. Witnesses at the nearby Floridian diner said that South Florida rapper Rick Ross was in the car. No one was injured, she said. Police declined to say who was in the car. The rapper, according to reports, talked to investigators at the diner. We’ve had plenty of differences with the Bawse in the past, but hopefully no one is injured and everyone is safe. We’ll have more details as they emerge.

Rumors have been “swirling” for months now that Tiger Woods has been blowing Lindsey Vonn’s backs to smithereens but while Vonn once denied they were more than friends, she’s not saying that anymore. Via US Weekly reports : Mum’s the word for Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods. As rumors swirl that the Olympic skier, 28, is in a serious relationship with the divorced golf pro, 37, both athletes are staying tight-lipped on the subject and refusing to discuss any personal matters whatsoever. But back in December, when European media first speculated that the two were an item, Vonn was a little more open about the nature of her relationship with Woods. “We are just friends,” she told the Denver Post after winning her second World Cup downhill at Lake Louise, Alberta. “My brother was the ski instructor for his kids this November in Vail. Guessing that’s where it came from.” Hollywood Life claims, however, that Vonn herself is teaching the golfer’s two children (Sam, 5, and Charlie, 2) to master the slopes. They say the sports superstars have been dating since November and have spent time together in Antigua and Salzburg, Austria. So are they or aren’t they? “Lindsey is currently in the midst of the World Cup season in Europe,” Vonn’s rep told Us Weekly in a statement. “Her focus is solely on competing and on defending her titles and thus she will not participate in any speculation surrounding her personal life at this time.” In fact, the gold medalist only recently finalized her divorce from fellow skier Thomas Vonn, whom she married in September 2007. Shortly after their November 2011 separation, however, she was linked to another headline-making athlete: New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow (then a Denver Bronco). The two were spotted hanging out together at the ESPYs and at various ski races. She also joined his family at one of his football games against the Chicago Bears. “Lindsey is just friends with the Tebow family. Anyone who is trying to suggest any more to their relationship is wrong,” her rep told the New York Post’s Page Six at the time. Vonn herself added on Twitter: “Hearing a lot of crazy rumors but rest assured I am not dating Tim Tebow (or anyone else).” Does the fact that she’s issued denials before but won’t now make it seem more like she’s getting Tiger’s wood??? Plus-size model Mikel Ruffinelli boasts the world’s largest hips. Whether or not that’s a positive distinction or not depends on your point of view. The mother of four’s all-natural 100-inch curves mean she struggles to get through doorways, needs two seats on planes and has to drive a truck. World’s Largest Hips Mikel, 39, weighs in at 400 pounds . She is proud of her figure and says she does not want to lose any weight, even though she often attracts jeers. “Everywhere I go I get attention for my hips, both good and bad,” Mikel said. “When I walk down the street, I can hear the shutters going on camera phones and people laughing at me. Some people assume I’ve had surgery, but it’s all natural.” “It’s the result of having four children, but large hips also run in my family.” With apologies to Shakira , those hips – and their owner – do NOT LIE. Mikel was a normal-sized kid and in her early 20s weighed a modest 180 pounds. But at 22, she put on 50 pounds after having first child Andrew, now 18. After daughters Destynee, 13, Autumn, 8, and Justyce, 7, followed, her weight and hips ballooned, yet despite her curves, she stands just 5’4″ with a 40-inch waist. “When I travel by plane or train I have to buy two seats because I can’t fit… into one,” Mikel revealed. “It’s quite expensive. I drive a truck because it’s big enough to fit all of me.” Yet she still enjoys joining in family activities such as keep-fit routines at home and trips to the park and seaside, where she shows off her 42D breasts in a revealing two-piece. “Finding clothes to fit my bottom half is a challenge,” she said. “I have my lingerie custom-made by seamstresses.”

A man was shot several times by several people driving at a K-Mart parking lot on Carlisle Boulevard on Sunday evening. A friend of the victim, Anthony Daly, was inside the store when the shooting took place. “The store employees came in, and were like, ‘There were gun shots. There were gun shots,’ and I ran out and saw him lying there on the street with bullet holes in his arm, his leg,” said Daly. According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the victim was shoplifting at the store and allegedly pulled a knife on a security employee. “As the shoplifter was running away, subjects in a white Cadillac crashed into him. Then, they fired two shots at the offender, hitting him two times,” said Officer Robert Gibbs, of the Albuquerque Police Department. Police believe the suspects in the vehicle got into an altercation with the man earlier. However, Daly said the incident “was gang-related. It was obviously gang-related.” The man is in stable condition at a hospital, police said. According to authorities, the shooters drove off southwest on Carlisle Boulevard, and remain on the loose. “It’s insane how people will come out and shoot out for a little argument,” said Daly. youtube 7abc

400 LB Woman Who Crashed Through A NYC Sidewalk Says Her Size Saved Her Life…”A Skinny Woman Would Have Died!”

Glad she made it out alive… Via NY Post: The 400-pound Queens pedestrian who crashed through an Upper East Side sidewalk said yesterday that a thinner woman might have died from that fall. “Thank God, they said that my size was the only thing that saved me,” Ulanda Williams, 32, told The Post as she was discharged from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Williams, of Springfield Gardens, was waiting for a bus at about 9:10 p.m. Friday when she tried to hide from the rain under an awning. The ground suddenly disappeared beneath her — and she was swallowed whole by the cavernous space adjacent to the cellar of The Blue Room on Second Avenue. “It was horrible, absolutely horrible,” said Williams, who broke her arm in two places in the 6-foot fall. The social worker, who wore an arm brace as she left the hospital, had bruises and cuts all over her face and neck from the fall. She said there were no warning signs indicating that any possible sidewalk danger. “Nothing, nothing,” she said. “It happened so instantly that I didn’t even recognize anything. Cement was all over me, debris. They had a bed frame down there, broken pipes and wood pieces. It was a hollow place.” Neighborhood resident Bobby Robertson, 56, said the building could use some work. “When I’m standing here waiting for the bus, I take a look around once in a while and notice how decrepit the street and buildings look,” he said. “You can see cracks in the walls and in the concrete, too. The owners don’t do any upkeep.” Frank Lupo, 47, a maintenance worker who lives in the building next door to the sidewalk collapse, said the fall could easily have been fatal. “It doesn’t look it from street level, but that’s one hell of a drop,” he said. “I’m glad she’s alive.” SMH. They better be ready for some lawsuits!
