Save Your Sorry Apologies! Trayvon’s Parents Outraged Over Zimmerman’s Low Bail And His Words To Them From The Stand!!!

Trayvon Martin’s Parents Outraged Over Zimmerman’s Courtroom Apology And Low Bail Can you blame Trayvon Martin’s parents for being pissed their son’s killer had the gall to address them at his bail hearing ??? “I am sorry for the loss of your son,” said Zimmerman, 28, who looked bulky in a freshly pressed charcoal-gray suit that tightly covered a bullet-proof vest. “I did not know how old he was. I thought he was a little bit younger than I am. I did not know if he was armed or not.” When he was pointedly asked by prosecutors if he was grandstanding for the media, Zimmerman said, “No,” that he was talking only to “the mother and the father” of Martin. Trayvon’s parents stared stoically from their seats. After the hearing, a lawyer for the family said the parents were outraged both by the “apology” and the fact that Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. granted a $150,000 bond, just a fraction of the $1 million bail prosecutors had requested. “This was the most disingenuous and unfair thing I’ve seen,” said lawyer Natalie Jackson. Benjamin Crump, another family lawyer, added that “it was devastating that [Zimmerman] got to give a self-serving apology to help get him a bond. Why is everybody protecting George Zimmerman?” The $150,000 bond means that Zimmerman’s supporters will only have to put up 10 percent, or $15,000, in order to spring him while he faces charges of second-degree murder for shooting the 17-year-old in an Orlando-area subdivision on Feb. 26. Zimmerman could be out in a few days, said his lawyer, Mark O’Mara. George’s dad is expecting to take out a second mortgage to raise the cash. Lester barred Zimmerman from keeping guns if he is bailed out, and set a 7 p.m.-to-6 a.m. curfew. Zimmerman also surrendered his passport, though he may be allowed to live outside Florida because of concerns for his safety. O’Mara said Zimmerman was speaking from the heart when he made his courtroom mea culpa yesterday. “He had always wanted to acknowledge what happened that day,” O’Mara said. “I was hoping that it could be accomplished in a private way. We weren’t afforded that opportunity.” O’Mara said Zimmerman decided to speak after hearing Martin’s mom, Sybrina Fulton, tell reporters she wanted to hear from him, according to CNN. “He didn’t want to defend himself. He didn’t want to discuss the facts of the case. He heard the request of the family, and he wanted to respond to it,” O’Mara said according to the CNN. Legal experts said that a suspect saying “sorry” at a bail hearing was highly unusual. But Zimmerman’s careful wording ensured that his apparent apology wasn’t an admission of guilt, they said. Yeah, he definitely ain’t admitting he’s sorry HE KILLED their son. What do you think? Could Zimmerman’s apology have been genuine? Was it inappropriate for him to speak to Trayvon’s parents in front of the public considering they declined his request to meet with him? And how insulting is that low azz bail??? Quote Of The Day: “I’ll Beat The Dog Sh** Out Of Rick Ross”- Suge Knight

Who’s REALLY the biggest boss that we’ve seen thus far??? Suge Knight Threatens To Fight Rick Ross Yesterday , Suge Knight gave the media some entertaining fodder to run with in the form of accusations during a radio interview that Tupac Shakur is not really dead. *Sigh*. Today, we get even MORE attention-sloring quotes from the Death Row boss that he wants to lay hands on Officer Ricky Rozay for invoking the name of Tupac while also maintaining alliances with Diddy, who he claims killed ‘Pac. Peep what the Sugary one had to say about Mr. Ross: “I can’t sit up here and say I’m bitter to Rick Ross, ‘cus like anybody else, we don’t know Rick Ross,” Suge said. “That’s a guy who uses somebody else’s name. This guy comes from being a correctional officer. I don’t got nothing negative [against him] personally, I just feel like he do do good music, and you can’t take that from him. That boy got bars, he’s gonna write…at the same time, I feel like there’s a line you cross, and Rick Ross crossed that line. If you’re gonna be with guy [Diddy] who killed Tupac, you can’t go turn around and do a record [called] ‘Tupac Back’…Rick Ross is a grown a$$ *****. I’ll beat the dog sh** out of Rick Ross for manipulating these people out here.” Should be interesting to see how this plays out in the future. Do you think Suge is really about that life? Considering his street record of getting knocked the f**k out so often, we’d have to see it to believe it. Images via WENN More On Bossip! Mini Kanye Struts In Unofficial ‘Way Too Cold’ Video

Fan-directed video stars grade schooler rapping lyrics to West song. By Gil Kaufman A scene from Ashley Smith’s “Way Too Cold” video Photo: Ashley Smith Films Sometimes there’s no reason to wait for the real thing. We have no idea if Kanye West is planning on shooting an official video for his Kim-Kardashian-crush note “Way Too Cold” (originally titled “Theraflu”) . In the meantime, director Ashley Smith has jumped into the breach, posting an unofficial clip for the song on her Vimeo page on Thursday that, well, just kills it. The can’t-look-away video stars a ridiculously cute half-pint reportedly named Caleb as Kanye and the kid is a star. As he struts the streets with his leggy blonde companion (holding her hand at first, awwww), mini ‘Ye rips the song’s lyrics, yes, even the four-and five-letter ones in a video that is the viral opposite of one of West’s typically high-concept, arty pieces. His swagger is unmistakable as he moves through Manhattan past some of Yeezy’s favorite luxury New York outlets while his companion shakes it for him. All the while, Caleb keeps it cool behind some shades and a mini leather jacket, aping the lyrics by throwing up the Roc to prove his allegiance. And, then, for reasons known only to Smith, actors wearing Donald Trump, Condoleezza Rice, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush and Sarah Palin masks pop up, posing menacingly on the street, that is when they’re not grinding on each other. How ridiculous is the kid? At one point he pulls off a flawless split, his hand triumphantly up in the air before breaking into a coughing fit as Theraflu pours out into a measuring cup. The good news is that Smith might have plenty more material to choose from, since DJ Khaled recently told MTV News that he and Kanye have plenty more tracks cooking . “Me and Kanye West went back in the lab and we made another record and got some features on there too,” Khaled said, without revealing too much about the next tune. “I can’t really talk about it, so expect another monstrous earthquake to hit the streets.” Related Artists Kanye West

Dick Clark Remembered: ‘And The Show Will Go On’

An MTV VP recalls his first TV job working for the late pop-culture icon. By Jonathan Mussman Dick Clark in 1988 Photo: Getty Images Jonathan Mussman, vice president of production at MTV News and Docs, got his start in television working for Dick Clark Productions. Below, he recounts what it was like working for the pop-culture legend, who died at age 82 on Wednesday (April 18). You may know Dick Clark just as the man who counted down the few seconds to the New Year, however he was truly an icon across TV, radio and music. Dick Clark was also a mentor for me personally, as he gave me my first job in television out here in Los Angeles many years ago. Known for his continued youthful appearance, the “world’s oldest teenager” was the quintessential on-air personality. In my year-plus working for him and on his shows, such as “Super Bloopers & Practical Jokes,” American Music Awards, “The Challengers,” Golden Globe Awards, Daytime Emmy Awards and numerous pilots for the broadcast channels, I developed important producing skills that I still use in my TV job today here at MTV. Dick was passionate, dedicated and creative and one of the nicest bosses I’ve ever had. Without question, working at Dick Clark Productions in one month equaled the experience you would get over years at other companies. You kept busy while working on many amazing projects. Photos: The life and career of Dick Clark Some personal memories include the days that he and his wife, Kari, would bring their dogs to the office in Burbank — you’d always hear shouts from stolen food off people’s desks during lunch hour as the dogs made their daily rounds. I also remember one American Music Awards where Vanilla Ice was hosting and stormed off in some tirade during a rehearsal the night before the live show. Dick taught us all how to remain cool and collected while dealing with overinflated celeb egos as he responded to the production team without missing a beat: “And the show will go on.” He was an award-winning pioneer in introducing and promoting new artists, new sounds and new music to millions of listeners and viewers through his career on local radio stations and the well-known TV series “American Bandstand.” He helped revolutionize TV production as well, blending his skills as an on-air personality and producer. His “Super Bloopers & Practical Jokes” — where he would place celebs in surprising situations — helped pave the way for our very own “Punk’d.” Dick Clark Productions (under new ownership) is still a powerhouse production company producing popular hits including “So You Think You Can Dance.” I look back fondly on my years at DCP and will always cherish the memories I had learning the business under his direction. You will be missed, Dick Clark — a man who created such a TV and music legacy. Share your condolences for Clark’s family, friends and fans in the comments below. 2 Chainz Tells Fans To ‘Expect A Lot Of Surprises’ On Debut

MC tells MTV News Based on a T.R.U. Story, which features Kanye West, will have ‘substance.’ By Rob Markman 2 Chainz Photo: MTV News There are certain benefits that come with being one of the hottest up-and-coming talents in the rap game; just ask 2 Chainz . “I’m working with people like Kanye , of course. I’m in a good creative space right now,” Deuce told MTV News about his mindset while putting the finishing touches on his debut solo album, Based on a T.R.U. Story. “I’m able to get my hands on a lot of things that I need. I have access to a lot of artists right now. I have great production.” We caught up with the MC formerly known as Tity Boi on the set of MTV2’s upcoming game show “Hip Hop Squares” and spoke about what fans can expect from his highly anticipated Def Jam release. “You can expect a lot of surprises. I like to bring the element of surprise back in hip-hop; bring the enjoyment and anticipation,” he said. Fans will have to wait until August 14 to get their hands on the LP, but the Atlanta rap virtuoso plans to release a single entitled “No Lie” on May 1. “I don’t wanna leak a record right now, I’m doing so many features and ‘Riot’ is doing so well, I don’t want to cause any kind of confusion.” To say he’s doing well is a bit of an understatement. 2 Chainz is currently featured on Young Jeezy’s “SupaFreak,” Nicki Minaj’s “Beez in the Trap” and Kanye West’s latest G.O.O.D. Music single “Mercy.” His current solo single, “Riot,” is quickly becoming a staple for hip-hop mixshow radio DJs. For the most part, 2 Chainz is classified as a trap rapper whose material mainly revolves around the drug game and street life. With Based on a T.R.U. Story, he plans to change all of that. “From me you can expect concepts; you can expect things that you can think about, substance,” he explained. “Although I have a trap background and I’m heavy with the street credibility, I also have the mind frame to expand a few ideas and some current events, ya dig?” What kind of surprises are you hoping to hear on 2 Chainz’s debut? N.O.R.E. Gets Wale And Waka Flocka Hooked On His Latest Mixtape Drug

‘I wanted to pick a wild name,’ N.O.R.E. tells Mixtape Daily of his new Crack on Steroids tape. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Adam Murphy N.O.R.E. Photo: MTV News Main Pick Headliners : N.O.R.E. and DJ Green Lantern Representing : Queens, New York Mixtape : Crack on Steroids Real Spit : The Super Thug is back at it again. Almost a year after dropping his N.O.R.E.aster EP, Noreaga returns with the drug-induced Crack on Steroids. “I wanted to pick a wild name so when people look at it, they’ll say, ‘What the hell is that?’ ” N.O.R.E. told Mixtape Daily about his latest release. Picking up where he left off last year with his street single “Nore Shot Somebody,” the C-N-N rapper keeps things “Grimey” on the tape-opening “Kenny Powers.” It’s not exactly an ode to the popular HBO comedy ; instead, N.O. uses Danny McBride’s fictional character as a thinly veiled reference to his distinct brand of cocaine. While partner-in-rhyme Capone was locked up in the late 1990s, N.O.R.E. proved he could hold things down as a soloist, crafting a number of hits like “Super Thug” and “Grimey.” On C.O.S., however, the Queens, New York, MC invites a number of his rap friends to the party. RZA shows up for “Hare Krishna” and Game, Busta Rhymes and Waka Flocka Flame pitch in on the Chris Brown-sampling “Lehhhgooo.” On the latter, producer Charli Brown flips Breezy’s opening ad lib from “Look at Me Now” and turns it into a catchy chorus. Wale also jumps on “Get Her” and will.i.am channels Slick Rick on “We Ain’t,” then Nore’s latest signee, Glacierz, proves she can hang with the fellas and delivers a standout verse on “War Song.” For all his guest spots, though, N.O.R.E. maintains his vibe throughout the tape — not that we expected anything less. Exclusive: Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Priority Was ‘Not Dying’ In ‘Premium Rush’

Gordon-Levitt talks to MTV News about getting in shape for his role as a bike messenger thrown into an ‘extreme scenario.’ By Kevin P. Sullivan Joseph Gordon-Levitt in “Premium Rush” Photo: Columbia TriStar Few actors can claim to have a 2012 quite as full of big movies as Joseph Gordon-Levitt . The 31-year-old actor isn’t just reteaming with his ” Inception ” director, Christopher Nolan, for ” The Dark Knight Rises ,” but he’s also starring in one of the most talked-about releases of the year, ” Looper ,” and preparing his directorial debut, “Don Jon’s Addiction.” On top of all that, this summer he’ll headline ” Premium Rush ,” an action film about a bike messenger caught up in a conspiracy. MTV News spoke with Gordon-Levitt about learning to bike like a pro, acting opposite Michael Shannon and trying not to die in the process. MTV News : A bike messenger isn’t exactly your typical action hero. What was your reaction when you first heard the concept? Joseph Gordon-Levitt : I just think it’s kind of a brilliant idea. It’s a summer popcorn action movie. Instead of glorifying cars and gun, it glorifies bicycles. I think that’s great. MTV News : It’s kind of refreshing lo-fi. Gordon-Levitt : I think that makes the action, in a way, a lot more exciting. There’s no computer-generated action in this movie. It’s all guys that actually performed these things. I had four doubles in this movie. Every day, I rode all day, but there are four other guys who are good at different things. One of them is an actual bike messenger; he rides really fast in traffic. One of them is really good at riding a trial bike, a different sort of bike, which is good jumping and stuff. Another guy does tricks but on a fixed gear bike. Another guy’s an actual Hollywood stunt man, so he’s getting hit by cars. Honestly, when an audience sees a real human being doing things, it’s just more exciting than computer-generated, what amounts to a cartoon. MTV News : How realistic is the biking in this movie? Gordon-Levitt : It’s pretty realistic. It’s definitely a fun action popcorn movie, so you know, it’s a guy in an extreme scenario. It’s not like a slice of life, everyday thing. It’s a movie like “Speed” or “Die Hard,” where a guy ends up in an extreme situation and has to deal with it. I’m on the bike most of the time. It is a movie that takes place a lot on a bike, of course, not the entire time. It all takes place in one day, and it’s a chase movie. MTV News : How long did you train to get yourself into bike-messenger shape? Gordon-Levitt : I trained every day for a couple months leading up to this movie. I rode hard every day and all day. That will take it out of you. You have to be in the proper condition to do that kind of thing. I was definitely in really good shape when we were shooting. You can’t get to be like what these guys do in a short amount of time. The guys who doubled me, they rode bikes their whole lives and are some of the best in the world. I wasn’t doing any crazy tricks or anything like that. That’s what the doubles were doing, but I definitely was riding a lot, riding through traffic, riding with cars, riding fast and doing scenes at the same time, performing dialogue and stuff. Those were definitely my favorite scenes to do. The cool thing was that we actually shot it. They would put a camera on the back of a motorcycle and go down the street, and I would ride and perform a whole scene on the phone, riding through traffic. That’s a really fun way to do a scene. MTV News : Where are your priorities when you’re acting in a scene like that? Gordon-Levitt : The priority is not dying. You can do another take and get the scene right, but then it’s just about rehearsing enough. Doing line, that’s something I’m good at. I can do that easy. It actually makes it more fun, makes the lines come to life more, to put them on a bike like that. MTV News : Similarly, having Michael Shannon as the villain has to make that character easier to fear. Gordon-Levitt : Man, that guy! I think he’s one of the best going, honestly. When I found out that he was going to play the villain, I was like, “Oh, wow. Now this is a movie.” To be perfectly frank, he is by far my favorite part of the movie. Honestly, he is so good. It’s definitely worth seeing “Premium Rush” just to see Michael Shannon play this villainous New York cop in an action movie. It’s f—ing great. My name is Jill and I am 16 years old. My Bieber Experience…

My name is Jill and I am 16 years old. My Bieber Experience started on September 25th, 2009 when I found out Justin was going to perform at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City.  I missed school so I could go to the concert early. When I woke up I was so excited and couldn’t believe that I was going to see Justin in concert. My mom and I got ready and took the train down to the city around 8. We got off the train and had to walk around 8 blocks to get to Time Square. While we were walking my mom asked me if I had the tickets, I checked my bag and there were no tickets! I started to cry because now I wouldn’t be able to go to the concert. My mom told me that I needed to calm down and she will figure something out. She called my house to see if my aunt could drive to the city and drop off the tickets because there wasn’t enough time for us to go back to my house on the train and get the tickets. We stopped at a FedEx and went on there computers. My mom went through her emails looking for the conformation number for the tickets and found it! She called the ticket company and they emailed us new tickets, I WAS SO HAPPY! When we got to the Hard Rock there were only 6 girls sitting at the door. The concert was first come, first serve so since there were only 6 girls I WOULD BE FRONT ROW! I sat down and and talked to the girls for hours. A little later, more people started to form a line behind us. Had more people came, more cops started to come to control the crowd. Around 5ish they started to let people in. I thought that since we were the first people we would be let in first, but that was not the case. They brought all the people from the other side of the street and let them go in-front of us. Thank God one of the mothers we were with knew someone. We then got escorted inside and next thing I know IM TOUCHING THE STAGE! Justin came out and everyone was going wild. Every time he came to the side of the stage, he would touch my hand and smile. I was wearing a Yankee hat that said Bieber on the side on my head and when he came over he took it and put it on his head. It didn’t fit him so he put it on the DJ stand. Thats all I was thinking about the rest of the night was him taking my hat and wearing it onstage. He finished performing and Fabulous came out to sing. My mom called me over and told me to try and get back stage. So I went to the door that lead to the back of the stage and there was a big security guard standing in-front of it. When he left to go check on something another body guard came to the door. I asked him if he could get my hat that Justin took. He told me that he would go check and come back. He comes back to the door and tells me to come inside. I WAS FREAKING OUT BECAUSE JUSTIN WAS IN THE OTHER ROOM. The man comes back and tells me that I CAN GO INSIDE AND MEET JUSTIN!! I was freaking out.. I didn’t know what to do! I get in the room and his mom and dancers were standing there. I started to talk to them about performing and what its like to hang out with Justin. They were all so nice. Then all of a sudden JUSTIN WALKS IN THE DOOR… He introduced himself to me and my friend Brianna. We talked for a good 45 minutes with him and got pictures. He saw that the hat he wore on stage was on my head. He was like OMG thats yours!! Thats such a cool hat!! I asked him to sign it and it said “Jill Read this article: My name is Jill and I am 16 years old. My Bieber Experience…

Dempsey Stewart’s Titties for Fashion of the Day

Dempsey Stewart is some Australian model who is apparently pretty new to the scene…but luckily not new to the concept that if you want the good life as a model…you gotta show your titties like a common stripper or street whore…because that’s what fashion is all about…even though you never see bitches on the street…even in the most expensive of outfits showing nipples…making me almost want to question the logic before remembering that any industry that gets young girls willing to be naked for promises of a better tomorrow…is an industry I support…it’s like this bitch could be prude and say “i don’t want to show my tits like every model before me”….I’ll just work here as a host at this restaurant…I won’t travel…or make millions…and I won’t take the international fame after doing it a few years…I’m happy with my free meal and 8 dollars an hour….but she knows….if she shows her tits….doors with opportunity on the other side open up….more girls need to get up on this reality…… I POSTED HER TITS BEFORE IF YOU WANNA SEE THEM FROM A BETTER ANGLE

Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban Tells His Side Of The “Lamar Odom Gets Fired From Dallas” Story

Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban Speaks On Firing Lamar Odom So basically Mark Cuban was like “Is you is or is you ain’t a Maverick?”…and Lammy was like — “No, I’m a Kardashian, and I gotta go suck on my wife’s tweet for the cameras now.” Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban , saying he hopes Lamar Odom’s departure is “addition by subtraction,” confirmed that a heated halftime confrontation between the owner and 13-year veteran was the breaking point that prompted the team and player to part ways. During halftime of his final game with the Mavs, Odom and Cuban had the exchange in the visitors locker room Saturday night in Memphis. Cuban confirmed Tuesday evening the crux of the heated halftime confrontation was Cuban questioning Odom’s commitment. Odom, who had played only four minutes in the first half, reacted angrily to the question, shouting “stop playing games” several times. Odom did not take his seat on the bench until after the third quarter began. “Well, yeah,” Cuban said when asked whether that exchange was the final straw. “Just his response to it. Everybody goes through ups and downs. Every player does. We tried to put him in a position to succeed. You guys saw it, saw what we did. It didn’t work. “And I just asked him, does he want to go for it or not? Is he in or is he out? I think he thought we were playing poker. I just didn’t get a commitment. And that was the end.” Cuban admitted Tuesday that Odom’s lack of commitment, which manifested itself in a lack of effort on the floor and habitual tardiness to team meetings, practices and shootarounds despite living across the street from the American Airlines Center, had been an issue all season. Cuban said he tried to turn the situation into a positive “the first 17 times,” but, with the defending NBA champions fighting for a playoff berth, the organization finally lost patience with Odom. “We hope it’s addition by subtraction,” Cuban said. “Just put him in the Tariq Abdul-Wahad category and move on.” Abdul-Wahad, a name uttered with disdain in the Dallas front office, played a total of 18 games for the Mavericks after being acquired in a blockbuster trade from the Denver Nuggets in 2002. Abdul-Wahad was banished from the team, but he remained on the Mavs’ payroll for five seasons. SMH. Sounds like Lammy was acting like a lil beyotch…and seriously though??? How you gonna argue with the OWNER ALL THE TIME and not expect to get canned?? Poor thang. Via ESPN To add insult to…insult. According to TMZ Lamar Odom’s Dallas Mavericks jersey is barely worth the fabric it’s printed on — at least according to the team’s flagship merch store, which is dumping all Odom gear … for dirt cheap. Distributors for the Dallas Mavericks Ultimate Fan Shop tell TMZ, the moment Lamar’s exit was announced they busted out clearance signs … and slashed prices in an effort to unload every last remnant of #7(ironic) merchandise. As you can see by our photo-enhancing skills — the jerseys originally sold for $110 dollars a pop, but then dropped to $89.99. Now, the jerseys are going for a paltry $44.99. All other Odom merchandise was similarly marked down. But it’s not exactly helping sales — we’re told the store has only hocked TWO of the jerseys collector’s items since cutting prices.
