My name is Pilar and my sister’s name is Martina. We are from Argentina and we met Justin at a meet & greet, saw him at the Miami International Airport and met him again outside of the recording studio in Miami. I won the meet and greet by sending text messages and answering multiple choice questions, it was the happiest day of my life! Here is the link to the interview they made me. It was on October 12th when Justin did his very FIRST concert in Argentina , I met him that day with a group of girls that also had won other contests. When we went backstage to meet Justin, I could see girls screaming and crying so hard because they had seen him. My sister and I were so nervous we couldn’t even breathe. As I got closer to the room that Justin was in, I could hear my heart beat really really fast. My sister was in the same situation as I was. It was our turn to take the picture when I heard Justin say, “Hey”. A couple of girls hugged him, my sister did too, and I was last! As I leaned for a hug, he was looking at me while I was looking at him. We took the picture and immediately we had to leave. As we were walking out the door we said, “I love you” and he replied with “Gracias gracias” , according to Martina he said, “me too”. We will never forget that day! It was Incredible! On January 29th, 2012 we arrived to Miami with our family. We were at customs answering the police’s questions when all of the sudden I see Justin Bieber with Alfredo Flores literally 2 meters away from us! I quickly said JUSTIN BIEBER, and Martina was shaking! We waved at him and he waved back. Unfortunately, we could’t take any pictures because we were at customs, and pictures aren’t allowed. As we were grabbing the luggage, Martina went to ask the paparazzis if they were there because of Justin, so finally we did an interview. They asked questions like how did we feel when we saw him, did we wave at him, etc. That was THE BEST way to start our year! On February 2nd 2012, we saw on Twitter that Justin could be in different studios in Miami Beach, so we chose one from the bunch and he was in the one we had chosen! It was really late at night, when we got to the recording studio we made some friends there. We asked them if Justin had come outside, and they said, “Yeah, but like half an hour ago”, so we waited and waited and waited! We screamed at everyone who came out of the studio without knowing who they were! Lil Twist, Lil Wayne, Timbaland, Mike Posner, JUSTIN BIEBER, everyone was there! Justin came out a few times just to skate and relax. Alfredo came out one time, and he asked to some girls what were their twitters. I told him mine. Justin couldn’t take a picture with us because of paparazzi, he didn’t want them to be there. We told paparazzi to leave and they finally left. We waited some more and finally Justin came out to skate! My sister and I told him that we were from Argentina and he answered, “Really? Argentina?” and we were like “Yeaaah!” He was really surprised! We recorded some things on tape, and asked Justin some questions and it felt like we were talking to a friend . We spent a lot of time with him (definitely more time than the m&g). Justin grabbed our hands TWO times while staring at us! He asked if we wanted to take some pictures and we all said, “YES”. Alfredo Flores grabbed our camera to take the picture! IT WAS AMAZING! We will never forget our whole Bieber experience! We saw him THREE times in LESS then a year, and we’re hoping to see him again! Here is our video of Justin talking to us, skating, grabbing our hands, etc. As Justin always says, never say never. – @PilarIrigoyen @martinairigoyen Here is the video of us at the studio in Miami, talking to Justin, watching him skateboard and him grabbing my hand! We previously reported that Monica and Brandy teamed up again 14 years after their hit “The Boy Is Mine.” The track, “It All Belongs To Me,” shows each woman’s vocal and personal growth. Produced by Rico Love, “It All Belongs To Me” picks up where “The Boy Is Mine” left off. Instead of fighting over the same man, now Monica and Brandy are kicking his cheating behind to the curb. “It All Belongs To Me” is set to be featured on both Brandy and Monica’s upcoming albums. What do you guys think of their latest collaboration? RELATED: Amber Rose In The Studio With Monica Monica And Brandy Reuniting For New Song Brandy Possibly Collaborating With Drake?
My name is Michelle and my best friend is Amanda. We live in South Florida and on February 5, 2012, the luckiest moment of our lives happened . It started out that Justin Bieber was in Miami at the recording studio working on his new album “Believe”. I had heard about it and wanted to go so badly to go meet him! On Thursday, after begging my mom, she didn’t want to take me because it wasn’t in the very best neighborhood. Friday, same thing. I cried so much! But then Saturday came. My daddy’s girlfriend looked at me and goes, “Is Justin gonna be here tonight?” My eyes went HUGE and I go, “YES! WHY?!” She told me, “Tonight. We’re going.” I SCREAMED AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS THAT THE WHOLE STREET COULD PROBABLY HEAR ME. I couldn’t get my hopes up too much cause what if Justin didn’t come out of the studio cause he was too busy? On the way there, all that was going through our minds was, “Is this REALLY the day we meet Justin?!” There were at least 35 other girls when we got there at 9:00 pm. We were all standing on the other side of the street. The owner of the studio talked to us about how we can’t get too excited and destroy his plants outside, and not to scream at every car cause they’re not all Justin! But all of a sudden, we see a black car and Moshe was driving! WE ALL KNEW JUSTIN WAS IN THAT CAR! We ran up against the gate and pressed our faces through the bars! Unfortunately, Justin crawled out so we didn’t even see him at all! 1 hour later, still no Justin. But by this time, there were at least 400 Beliebers there. Timbaland came out and signed autographs, we saw Lil Twist come out of his car and then ALFREDO FLORES comes out! He came over and said “Hey!” and Amanda gave him her camera; he grabbed it and took a picture with us! Even though you can’t see our faces, WE STILL GOT A PICTURE! He’s so funny and nice too! 2 hours later, by this point, Amanda and I had bruises on my arms from holding onto the gate, our feet were cramping up from standing on the gate bars, the bushes and leaves behind us were getting all up in our hair and ants crawling up our legs! It was so bad! THE THINGS WE DO FOR THIS BOY! But hey…we were already there. We weren’t leaving or giving up. WE WERE GONNA MEET JUSTIN THAT DAY. A few minutes later, we suddenly saw Justin walk across the hall in the studio. I SCREAMED SO LOUD! He was wearing all black, and a black beanie. He looked so hot. Then, 11:11 came, and obviously we both wished for the chance to meet Justin that night. Little did we know what would happen next. This guy named Rick who is a music producer of Timbaland (@ BigRicknyc) got out of a car. I had no idea who he was at first. But my dad started calling his name! I was so confused like WHAT? MY DAD KNOWS HIM!? Rick starts walking our way. My dad’s like “Hey! It’s Rob! Do you remember me?” Rick smiled and said, “Yes! You helped fix my car a few times! What are you doing here?” And my dad told him, “I’m making my daughter’s dream come true and her best friend too.” Rick goes, “Who’s your daughter?” I raised my hand up and said ME!!!!!!! Rick laughed and told us to walk to the front of the gate. At this point, I was getting nervous. He told the security guard to let us in through the other side, and at THAT POINT, AMANDA AND I WERE REALLY FREAKING OUT. All these other people were following us trying to sneak in with us, but the guard didn’t let them through. We walked in and all the Beliebers on the gates were hating on us so badly and yelling at us! I had my hand over my mouth just flipping out. Rick brought us into the studio and we sat and talked with him for a little bit while he got a haircut. Then 10 minutes later, it was 12:55 and all you could hear was screaming outside! I knew Justin was out! We ran outside and Rick told us not to freak out and just stay calm. I gave him this look like, “Are you joking? Justin is standing a few feet from me and you want me to STAY CALM?!” Haha but I did. We waited for Justin as he went around signing autographs for his Beliebers. My legs were shaking, heart was racing a million miles, and I couldn’t stand still. Justin then started walking over to us. I was freaking out. He took a picture first with this other family. After that, it was OUR TURN. He looked at my shirt and smiled, and then at my face. HE WAS LOOKING AT ME. Best feeling ever! He motioned for us to go over to him and I stood on the left, and Amanda on the right of him. Hugging Justin Bieber… was this really happening? There were so many cameras flashing that we didn’t know which one to look at! Everything was so rushed, and he had to go in a hurry. I couldn’t even breathe, and I was so speechless that I didn’t even say “Hi” to him! I couldn’t move! Justin jumped into the car and Beliebers attacked the car and hitting the window, omg it was insane! I looked at Amanda and we just froze. WE FINALLY MET JUSTIN BIEBER. AFTER 3 YEARS, WE GOT WHAT WE WANTED. Rick made my dreams come true. All the other Beliebers had to stand against the gate and get of picture of him , while we got our own personal picture with him. I feel so lucky and blessed. On the way home, I started getting tears in my eyes. When I finally got home, I looked at that picture we took with Justin and just couldn’t believe it. My dream had FINALLY come true. Justin FINALLY noticed us. We waited 4 hours to see Justin, from February 4 th , until 1:00 am February 5 th ! It was worth it! All these people doubted us and said we’d never meet Justin and we told them, “Watch me.” Well, now we can check that off the list! I (Michelle) was 15 that day, but my birthday is on the 13 th . BEST EARLY BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER. THANK YOU SO MUCH RICK FOR LETTING US IN! AND THANK YOU JUSTIN FOR MAKING MY DREAMS COME TRUE! I never thought I’d be writing my Bieber experience, but miracles really do happen. Seriously… NEVER SAY NEVER. – @JBieber4lyf & @BieberFansMiami More: My name is Michelle and my best friend is Amanda. We live in…
My name is Katya and I’m 15 years old & I live in South Florida . On Wednesday February 2, 2012 my dad took me to the studio in Miami because the one and only Justin Bieber was going to be there. I called him during school to tell him and he knows that I’ve been through so much that he agreed to take me. I’ve been a belieber for 3 long years and I am obsessed with Justin. I have attended 2 concerts, flown to NYC for the book signing and entered millions of contests to try to meet him and never have actually met him. My little sister met him before I did in summer of 2010 and I was completely devastated. I kept asking why this would happen to me, when I was the one who knew everything about Justin and I was the obsessed one. All I wanted was to meet him even more. Thanksgiving was coming up and I heard about Justin’s book signing in NYC so I convinced my parents to take me and well lets just say that I waited in the rain/cold weather for 7 hours and when they did the head count for 1000 girls, the line got cut in front of me. I went to the hotel, fell asleep and when I woke up, it turns out they had let another 1000 girls in! I lost all the hope I had. People kept telling me, “good things happen to those who wait, be patient” but all I ever thought of was how I was never going to meet him. Then 2012 began and my New Years resolution was to meet him and on February 2nd it all payed off. I got to the studio around 7:50 and by 8:00, 10 girls and I were watching Justin Bieber walk over to us . I surprisingly was clam due to the fact that I kept thinking “this is a dream”. Things like this don’t happen to people like me. He came over with his hands in his pocket and said, “How’d you girls know I was here?” laughing and smiling! At this point, I couldn’t hold it in so I blared, “OMG Justin. I love you SO much! This is like a dream come true for me” and he replied, “Love you too” . Alfredo was with him and one thing led to another, Justin took all our cameras and handed them to Alfredo for a group photo. Justin got right infront of me but before Alfredo took pictures, Justin Bieber ducked and stuck out his hands, I GRABBED ON TO IT and Alfredo started clicking away!! We were behind the gate but nothing stopped me from being the happiest girl there! I was there until midnight and saw him skateboard like 4 feet away from me , and well we had a full on conversation! I had no thoughts, words or worries because I had finally met Justin Bieber. The next morning, the picture of us holding hands was all over Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, OceanUp, Miami Herald and even on Local News! The best part about it was that Justin tweeted the picture , which means that he hopefully saw my face and our hands locking! Yesterday and today walking down the school hallway is like walking down a red carpet. Some people know me as the girl who held Justin’s hand! I still don’t know how to feel but all I know is that all my praying and 11:11 wishes came true in one night. DONT EVER GIVE UP! JUSTIN I LOVE YOU SO MUCH THERE AREN’T WORDS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING. YOU HAVE MADE MY YEAR!! Originally posted here: My name is Katya and I’m 15 years old & I live in…

ID Labs producer E. Dan tells MTV News, ‘There’s definitely a sound within the people that work out of here.’ By Rob Markman Sayez and Mac Miller Photo: MTV News Contrary to popular belief, Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller didn’t grow up together. Though they both hail from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, are signed to Rostrum Records and have jumped out into the national spotlight, the bond that they share didn’t start in the streets of the ‘Burgh — but instead at ID Labs music studio. E. Dan opened ID Labs in 2003, and since then he’s recorded some of the city’s biggest hits inside the dusty, vinyl-laced studio. Wiz Khalifa’s classic 2010 mixtape Kush & Orange Juice and a huge chunk of his gold major-label debut Rolling Papers were recorded in ID Labs, as was Mac’s Best Day Ever mixtape and his #1 debut Blue Slide Park. The studio has been pivotal in Mac’s development, so a few hours before his first homecoming show on December 9 , he took MTV News on a tour of ID Labs. “There’s definitely a sound within the people that work out of here,” E. Dan says of his studio and its in-house producers, Big Jerm and Sayez. “It’s hard for me to say what an actual definitive sound of Pittsburgh is; I think it’s probably a combination of a lot of stuff. We’re not in New York; we’re not in L.A.; we’re not in one of the epicenters of hip-hop. I feel like, we’re, if anything, a combination of all that.” Mac Miller returns to Blue Slide Park. Sledgren, who isn’t technically a part of the ID Labs production team but frequently works out of the studio, remembers what it was like coming up with a sound for Wiz’s Kush & Orange Juice . “We were just young goin’ to the club, knowing what everybody wanted to hear, and we just gave that our own twist,” he said of how he and Wiz came up with tracks like “Never Been.” For Sayez to think that two artists of Wiz and Mac’s magnitude just so happened to come out of ID Labs is mind-blowing. “That’s just crazy that two of the major players in today’s hip-hop culture, music culture are doing it so big that they just happened to come through this building,” he said. “Everybody who worked in this building … put in ridiculous amounts of work and sacrificed so much to be able to put out good music and be there and try and get the city movement goin’.” Wiz Khalifa motivates Pittsburgh’s up-and-coming artists. The fact is, both Khalifa and Miller have the option of working in higher-end studios with more notable producers, but the fact that they choose to keep coming back to the ‘Burgh to work in ID Labs speaks fathoms. “It felt great, Wiz coming back to work on his album because he could’ve worked with anybody,” Big Jerm said of the Rolling Papers sessions that took place in ID Labs. “He could’ve been in with Pharrell, but he chose to come back here. I think it’s just comfortable for him, he’s comfortable with us. I think it’s a good situation for everybody really.” Stick with MTV News all week as Mac Miller takes us back to the ‘Burgh and spotlights the city’s vibrant hip-hop scene. ‘The advice he gave me, it’s already affected the way I’ve been in the studio,’ the Bawse tells MTV News. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Rick Ross and Dr. Dre Photo: MTV News There is no rap producer more revered than Dr. Dre . From N.W.A and Snoop Dogg to Eminem and 50 Cent, the legendary hip-hop producer has jump-started the careers of some of the game’s greatest artists. In addition to cultivating new talent in the studio, he has also crafted hits with heavyweights like Jay-Z, Nas and Tupac. And next up is the Bawse. On January 25, Rick Ross tweeted a picture of himself in the studio with DJ Khaled and Dre; while Rozay wouldn’t say exactly what the trio was working on, it’s clear that Dre had a profound impact. “It was amazing, my brother,” Ross told MTV News’ Sway in Miami over the weekend. “We had the opportunity to just first and foremost touch base like bosses. We went out, we had dinner, we just discussed ideas and that led to the studio.” The ever-calculating Ross didn’t want to let the cat out of the bag just yet, but working with Dre has already changed his work habits, he said. “The advice he gave me, it’s already affected the way I’ve been in the studio for the last week,” Rozay said. “So let’s just say he’s full of knowledge and he’s a solid guy. Most definitely that’s maybe my biggest hip-hop influence in the game.” Before Ross became a marquee rap name, he was a fan. He often cites Slick Rick and the Beastie Boys as early influences, and of course Dre is part of that set. “A lot of times when you sit back and you watchin’ greatness in motion, when I think back to [N.W.A’s] Straight Outta Compton or [Snoop Dogg’s] Doggystyle and I think about the smallest things from the skits to the way the records ended to having the opportunity to ask him about certain things about those classic albums,” Ross said of his interaction with the Chronic mastermind, “to just hear the time that was put into it, and the format, it was really priceless knowledge. For him to acknowledge Maybach Music and what I’m doin’ as an artist and a CEO, that was just real inspirational.” Related Artists Rick Ross Dr. Dre
