Last month, fans saw that Colt Johnson and his girlfriend seemed to be talking about marriage — or, at least, open to discussing it. Now, things are looking much more serious than just a discussion. Colt is in the market to buy a ring, and he’s not even being subtle about it. Colt Johnson adn Jess Caroline haven’t made things Instagram Official just yet. But they’ve both made it very clear that they’re happily dating — months into a relationship that no one thought would last past the first date. Jess’ Instagram is private and she even showed some semi-public display of affection recently. (We have that photo for you below) And Colt? Well, he leaves brazen comments on her (private) Instagram, making no effort to hide their relationship. Oh, and he’s looking to put a ring on it. “Looking for someone that makes jewelry,” Colt recently wrote in his Instagrami Stories. He continued, imploring any followers with a recommendation to “DM me please.” Alongside his request, Coltee included sketches — concept art — for a ring. It’s not just that he wants to buy a ring. He very clearly wants his followers in a tizzy over whether he’s about to propose to Jess. And he’s getting his wish. We hope that this ring, should Colt get it made and give ti to Jess, will meet a better fate than the ring Colt gave to Larissa when they married. His relationship with The Queen was volatile and deeply toxic for both parties. During a moment of emotional distress after a fight, Larissa actually flushed her ring. She later exposed the ring’s price, feeling slighted that (the notoriously cheap) Coltee had bought the ring on Etsy for a modest price. It looks like Colt is once again choosing a “unique” ring instead of a pricier option. Maybe Jess will appreciate it more. As we mentioned, Jess shared this image — of Colt’s hand on her thigh — on her private Instagram. “To love is to go hand in hand through this strange and magical maze that is life,” Jess reflected in her captions. She continued to approximately quote an existing poem: “It is not to lose sight of the other, but to let him breathe when needed.” “It is facing the fear of the abyss, of truth, of doubt, of certainty,” Jess wrote. She added: “It is embracing tight to cure pain, sadness, failure.” “It is giving a silly and innocent smile in the middle of the day,” Jess concluded. “Simply by knowing that the other exists” A number of fans have expressed surprise that Colt’s other half, his mother, Debbie, seems to be okay with this relationship. We guess that not having Colt’s new lady love move in the day they meet probably helps her get adjusted to the idea. And she may be supporting Colt’s romance with Jess because, at this point, she’ll root for anyone who isn’t Larissa Lima. Will Colt’s eventual marriage to Jess be the milestone that ultimately severs his metaphorical umbilical cord for good? Only time will tell. For now, he still hasn’t popped the question. Thursday night was no different. On New York Fashion Week’s opening night at the Daily Front Row Fashion Media Awards, Moore used the red carpet as a call to action. There to accept the “Cover of the Year Award” for her historic Elle magazine cover earlier this year, she rocked a gorgeous red Oscar de la Renta gown, pairing them with long cascading Beads By Aree keepsake earrings that paid homage to 16 Black trans murdered this year. Each gold frame held a picture of women including Jazzaline Ware , Ashanti Carmon , Muhlaysia Booker , and Michelle “Tamika” Washington to name a few. In addition, her clutch had a picture of 17-year-old Bailey Reeves . “ Thank you Aree, for sharing your keepsake earrings so I could bring my sister’s with me tonight,” the 24-year-old Louis Vuitton spokesperson wrote on Instagram. According to W , during her speech, Moore told the crowd, “As you all know, or not, I am Black, and I am trans. It’s possible that no pop star in history has displayed more candor and openness over the course of their career than Demi Lovato. But it seems that despite admirable confessions about her substance abuse issues and eating disorders, the singer hasn’t always been completely honest with her fans — and she’s trying to correct that now. Back in May, Demi posted some bikini pics from her vacation to Bora Bora. But it seems those photos didn’t tell the whole story. Last night, in one of her most candid Instagram posts to date, Lovato revealed that the images had been retouched. She then revealed an unedited pic from the same vacation along with a lengthy caption describing her mindset: “This is my biggest fear. A photo of me in a bikini unedited. And guess what, it’s CELLULIT!!!!” Demi wrote. “I’m just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited – and I hate that I did that but it’s the truth) so that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me. This is what I got,” the 27-year-old added. “Here’s me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day. “It’s such a great feeling to be back in tv/film while not stressing myself with a strenuous workout schedule before 14 hour days, or depriving myself from a real birthday cake rather than opting for watermelon & whip cream with candles because I was terrified of REAL cake and was miserable on some crazy diet shit.” (The “back on TV” comment seems to refer to Demi’s recurring role on the new season of Will & Grace .) “I’m not stoked on my appearance BUT I am appreciative of it and sometimes that’s the best I can do. Of course, as many commenters have pointed out, Demi still possesses many of the qualities prized by Superficial America. In fact, if you subscribe to the Sir Mix-a-Lot school of aesthetics (and really, who doesn’t?), you may find this photo more appealing that Demi’s previous bikini pics . Really, what we’re looking at is an embarrassment of riches, and to some folks, Demi’s confessional caption might inspire about as much sympathy as the guy who complains that the vast estate he inherited in his youth often made him feel alienated from his peers. Still, our insecurities are our insecurities, and the effort to confront them head-on should always be applauded. A trans woman named Mariah Lopez Ebony made the allegation in a Facebook post that Yoba had solicited sex from her when she was merely 13 and 16 years-old. Allegations surfaced from Ebony after Yoba revealed he was “trans attracted” and was applauded for his honesty. “For all who applaud and solute [sic] Malik Yoba for revealing he is so called ‘Trans Attracted,’ understand that either because of deeper issues he has or, because of ‘society’ pushing him and others to deep, dark places, his admission to being sexually attracted to trans women, is bound to open a Pandora’s box for him; not because the women are Trans, but because many of the trans women he engaged in sexual exploration and exploitation with on 14th Street, Times Square and elsewhere, were minors, including myself. And I don’t give a F-CK who doesn’t believe me or feels I’m trying to ride a wave! There is a trend of men of color being embraced by the Queer community, for liking Trans women, despite overwhelming evidence of character flaws……glaring signs that sex addiction, substance abuse; unchecked mental health issues and inner demons are what drive men to the bungee jumping of sex; F*CKIN or SUCKIN a Trans person. That’s not love. Period. What Malik paid me to do, as a 13 and 16 year old, wasn’t love . His ignoring that I was clearly a child prostitute, wasn’t love. Paying for cheap thrills and secret orgasms; begging for unsafe, unprotected sex from a runaway Trans teen, while enjoying stardom as a successful artist and business man ….isn’t love.” In response, Yoba released a freestyle denying Ebony’s claims. It’s been deleted, but there are the lyrics he rapped, according to Page Six . “How quickly people love to spread news/With no proof of child abuse/You confuse, I see you/You choose to try to make me lose/But I can’t/If you try to stand in my shoes/You would lose.” And, “You can’t win when you live in sin … At the beginning, I told you there was the word/And the word said we would love/And we would love each other/No matter what, you my sister, my brother/Whether you be a trans man or a trans woman.” He revealed, “Yes, this is a freestyle.” Yoba’s denial of soliciting a child sex worker didn’t stop there. Source: John Moore / Getty Phoenix Police Investigated For Rape Threats, Brutality, And Stealing Money A police officer in Phoenix is under serious investigation for a series of infractions including, but not limited to beating civilians, threatening witnesses, wrongfully seizing money in a drug bust , and abusing a female co-worker whom he allegedly called a “c*m dumpster” and said he wanted to rape. According to PhoenixNewTimes , four lawsuits were filed in federal court against officer Sergeant Daniel Beau Jones and all four were settled. Pretty heinous charges for a settlement… “Phoenix Police Sergeant Daniel B. Jones is the subject of a criminal and internal investigation. No arrest has been made,” Phoenix police spokesperson Sergeant Vince Lewis said on August 24. “He has been placed on administrative leave pending the resolution of the investigations.” In regards to the sexual harassment, peep what a female officer accused Jones of in her lawsuit: According to the officer, her time with the 41G squad in South Mountain Precinct was marked by rampant sexual harassment, bullying, and hostile behavior. “Daniel Jones often specifically referred to [the officer] as a dumb c*nt, dumb b*tch, useless 101 [police code used to refer to females], carpet muncher, and c*m dumpster,” the lawsuit states. When the officer told Jones not to call her those names, she alleges that Jones intimidated her “by telling her that any snitch should or could get a bullet to the head” and that “snitches should be taken care of just like they are on the street. Oh, but there’s MUCH more… Besides the name-calling, she said Jones would also purposefully and forcefully run into her with his shoulder when they passed each other in the hallway. He interfered with her work, making noise and kicking her chair while she was on the phone. He called her a “dumb bitch” in front of her supervisors. Sometimes, he called her “it” or said she was a man. Occasionally, Jones looked at the officer “in a threatening manner, and shook his head and unsnapped his gun holster,” the lawsuit states. Then one day, Jones sent her a message asking her to meet him in South Mountain Precinct’s back parking lot. According to the lawsuit, which was settled, Jones told her, “he had fantasized about raping her and choking her around the neck and stated, ‘I want to fuck you so hard your librarian glasses fall off.’” Then there’s the charge of beating up civilians: “At least one of these witnesses pled with officers to stop beating the now-unconscious” Vasquez. Instead of stopping, Kincannon “drew his weapon, pointed it at the civilian witnesses and said, ‘Trudy, get the fuck in the house,’” the lawsuit states. Then, police arrested one of the witnesses and took him to a nearby cemetery, where they “told him he better keep his mouth shut or he would end up buried in the cemetery,” according to the lawsuit. Slowly but surely, we are learning what Roc Nation’s involvement with the NFL’s Inspire Change initiative will bring starting with Chicago’s youth. According to TMZ , sources close to the NFL revealed the league will be donating $400,000 to 2 Chicago groups that give at-risk youth alternatives to gangs and gun violence. Meek Mill, Meghan Trainor as well as Rapsody and Vic Mensa will be visiting both of the programs that were handpicked and vetted by Roc Nation. Per TMZ : One of the groups is BBF (Better Boys Foundation) Family Services — which, we’re told, Vic and Rapsody will visit Wednesday. Founded in the 1960s … BBF says it provides education, employment, and youth services, as well as family health programs to more than 400 families. The other group, Crusher’s Club , says its mission is to help Chicago kids “restore their lives and improve their neighborhoods.” Meghan and Meek will be at Crusher’s on Thursday … ahead of their NFL Kickoff concert. As we reported, Meek and Meghan came on board, not just to perform the NFL Kickoff concert, but as advocates for Inspire Change — the league’s arm to support player and team efforts to focus on education, police and community relation and criminal justice reform. According to the celebrity gossip site, Chicago will serve as the “prototype” for future philanthropic endeavors with the NFL, Roc Nation, and Players Coalition continuing to do the same in every NFL city. We probably don’t need to tell you that many, many things are banned in the Duggar family. High on the Jim Bob’s list of harmless diversions that’ll earn you a pitchfork where the sun don’t shine in the afterlife is secular entertainment. In JB’s mind, there’s one reason and one reason only to write a song — and that’s to praise Jesus. In fact, we’re pretty sure that’s Jim Bob’s only approved reason for doing anything. So you can imagine the patriarch’s chagrin upon learning that his kids have been tuning their radios to 66.6 Satan FM. It started with the revelation that Jana Duggar enjoys listening to Michael Buble. We literally can’t think of anything less dangerous than Jana Duggar rocking out to Michael Buble, but like we said, Jim Bob makes Ned Flanders look like Ozzy Osbourne. Anyway, from there, things escalated rapidly. Next thing we knew Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard were taking their kids to see Toy Story 4 , which — if we recall — doesn’t have a single crucifixion scene in it. Now, JB’s worst nightmare has come to life, as Derick has expressed a fondness for the hippity-hop. D-Dilly posted the above photo this week, along with the following caption: “I love it when they call me big papa… ha love hangin with these two, even if it might not always seem the most productive. “It’ll pay off in the end. I love them and how inquisitive they always are about the world around them.” Again, incredibly innocuous — until you consider the fact that Derick’s opening line is a reference to a song by the Notorious B.I.G., a man who is literally the exact opposite of Jim Bob Duggar. Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time that a member of the whitest, most rural family on the planet has expressed an affection for a genre of music that was born in black urban communities. Jessa Duggar’s husband Ben Seewald loves hip hop and he even interviewed Christian rappers on his short-lived YouTube series.
