Source: StarterCAM / HotSpotAtl.com NYPD Demands Rolling Loud Pull Several Artist Off Lineup Ahead Of Weekend Festival Since it came onto the scene, Rolling Loud has quickly taken over as hip-hop’s premier festival. Headliners have ranged from Travis Scott and J Cole to Cardi B, Kid Cudi and Future . After having success in Miami, the Bay Area, and Los Angeles, the Rolling Loud crew decided to expand its festival to New York City. The new addition was announced at the top of the year and its line up was released a few months back. View this post on Instagram #NYC Police Banned #Casanova2x #22gz #DonQ And A Few Other NYC Artist From #RollingLoud… A post shared by Hip Hops Tv (@hiphopstv) on Oct 11, 2019 at 10:10pm PDT Fast forward to this weekend, the first annual New York City Rolling Loud stage is set–but the NYPD says not so fast. In a letter sent to Rolling Loud, Assistant Police Chief Martin Morales requested the festival pull several of their performers due to safety issues. The list of required removals includes NYC’s rookie of the year PopSmoke, Casanova , Sheff G, Don Q, and 22GZ. They even included their government names so there isn’t any confusion as to who needs to leave. Over the years, NYC has been notorious for having what the music industry calls the “Hip-Hop Police,” a dedicated unit that just watches rappers and their social media to harass them once they touch down in the Big Apple. This weekend, the reason for the demands from the police department are cited as a concern for safety, as the acts listed reportedly have a “history of violence”. Many cite the hip-hop police for Meek Mill’s former incident and arrest, which went down when he was driving a dirt bike in the city. After successfully taking down the Nine Trey Bloods, we wouldn’t put it past the NYPD to go for its victory lap over at Rolling Loud. Stay safe folks! In real time, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way stars Deavan and Jihoon have just suffered a miscarriage . Reality stars can have real problems. On the show, their castmate Rebecca Parrot is grappling with what fans believe may be a situation of physical abuse from Zied Hakimi. Rebecca is now speaking out and addressing fans directly. On Sunday, TLC aired an alarming preview for 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way . In the video, fans believed that they saw Zied forcefully jerk Rebecca towards him, and fans raised the alarm about abuse. Many had been worried for Rebecca from the start, and they know that, statistically, bisexual women are more likely to be abused by a male partner. “Zied grabbing Rebecca by the neck is a huge red flag,” wrote one fan. “That’s abusive behavior used to exert dominance.” “Another abusive situation Rebecca and [Zied],” another tweet lamented. Alongside a video of her conveying the same message, Rebecca is trying to clear the air on social media. “I need to make something VERY CLEAR,” Rebecca's impassioned caption begins. “Zied has NEVER been abusive,” she announces. Rebecca then affirms: “Zied would NEVER be abusive.” “This is dangerous to make light of and it needs to stop now,” she expresses. She does, however, recognize why people now have this impression o Zied. “I understand that the preview was misleading,” Rebecca acknowledges. “However the scene in its full entirety was very clear!” she assures her followers. Rebecca explains: “Zied was apologizing to me and I was the one who pulled away from him.” “I was angry,” she clarifies. “Not Zied.” “As an abuse survivor in previous relationships, I would never allow this,” “and would never make excuses for it.” “In addition, TLC and Sharp Entertainment would not only not have allowed it, but would not have aired it.” Is she sure about that? TLC has certainly aired multiple abusers across various shows. And we seem to recall Anfisa Arkhipchenko Nava striking her husband in the face on camera. That was domestic violence. That aired. “It is dangerous to make accusations like this,” Rebecca expresses. She continues: “and make it look like I’m making excuses.” “As there are women watching in actually dangerous relationships,” Rebecca accurately guesses. She worries that these are women “that think if I’m staying with this man, it’s okay for them to.” “It is never okay to be in any relationship that is even slightly abusive,” Rebecca affirms. “Reality tv likes to create drama, and did that with the preview,” Rebecca explains. “The scene in its entirety,” she emphasizes. “Clearly shows Zied was not being abusive in ANY way.” Rebecca concludes: “Be responsible with your accusations. ” That is very good and important advice for anyone. We will keep in mind that it's the right thing to keep an eye out for abuse — verbal, emotional, fiancial, physical, or sexual — just about everywhere. There are a lot of monsters in this world. Rebecca just wants you to know that Zied is not one of them.
Brooke Nevils doesn’t merely want her name out there. She also wants her voice heard. Loudly, clearly and very forcefully. Nevils is the NBC producer who issued the complaint in late 2017 that led to Lauer being fired by the network for sexual misconduct . Her identity was kept secret at the time — but she has now revealed both herself and her story to Ronan Farrow as a major part of that reporter’s upcoming book, “Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators.” In excepts released from the book this week, Nevils alleges that Lauer raped her at the Sochi Olympics in 2014 . She says the disgraced ex-Today Show host invited Nevils to his hotel room… where he proceeded to throw her on the bed and ignore her pleas NOT to have anal sex. “It was nonconsensual in the sense that I was too drunk to consent,” she tells Farrow in the book. “It was nonconsensual in that I said, multiple times, that I didn’t want to have anal sex.” Brooke Nevils confirms that she did sleep with Lauer a few times after they returned to New York City, labeling their relationship as “transactional.” Nevils went on medical leave in 2018 and was eventually paid “seven figures” by NBC to keep quiet, writes Farrow in his book. But she can’t keep quiet any longer. Not after Lauer responded to this claim via an open letter that Nevils finds abhorrent in its tone and content. Late Wednesday, Nevils released a statement, which aired on NBC Nightly News, that read as follows: “There’s the Matt Lauer that millions of Americans watched on TV every morning for two decades, and there is the Matt Lauer who this morning attempted to bully a former colleague into silence.” Added Nevils of Lauer’s lenthy reply to her accusations: “His open letter was a case study in victim blaming. I am not afraid of him now.” Lauer confessed in his letter to engaging in an extramarital affair with Nevils. He denied all allegations of assault, however, emphasizing how the two carried on a sexual relationship long after this incident in Sochi. “We performed oral sex on each other, we had vaginal sex, and we had anal sex. Each act was mutual and completely consensual,” Lauer wrote, adding: “There was absolutely nothing aggressive about that encounter. Brooke did not do or say anything to object. She certainly did not cry. She was a fully enthusiastic and willing partner. “At no time did she behave in a way that made it appear she was incapable of consent.” Nevils has taken Lauer’s words as an attempt to shame her for her actions… but she refuses to back down. “Regardless of his threats, bullying, and the shaming and predatory tactics I knew he would (and now has) tried to use against me,” Nevils said on Wednesday. Lauer, for his part, stated that Nevils never worked for him in any way at NBC, continuing: “I have never assaulted anyone or forced anyone to have sex. Period.” He then delves into the women with whom he slept while married. “For two years, the women with whom I had extramarital relationships have abandoned shared responsibility, and instead, shielded themselves from blame behind false allegations. “They have avoided having to look a boyfriend, husband, or a child in the eye and say, I cheated . “They have done enormous damage in the process. And I will no longer provide them the shelter of my silence.” Nevils is one of these women, yet she has serious issues with the way Lauer has framed their interactions. And she’s thankful to all who have stood by her side. “I want to thank the many survivors who shared their stories with me today and offered their support. It takes courage, and I am truly grateful,” Nevils Tweeted last night. NBC, meanwhile, which has been accused of covering up Lauer’s heinous misdeeds, issued a statement of its own yesterday. “Matt Lauer’s conduct was appalling, horrific and reprehensible, as we said at the time,” said the network. “That’s why he was fired within 24 hours of us first learning of the complaint. Our hearts break again for our colleague.” It concluded as follows: The first time we learned about Matt Lauer’s sexual misconduct in the workplace was the night of November 27, 2017 and he was fired in 24 hours. Any suggestion that we knew prior to that evening, paid any ‘hush money,’ or tried to cover up any aspect of Lauer’s appalling behavior is absolutely false. NBCU’s legal team has done an exhaustive search of available records and conducted dozens of interviews of past and present staff, and uncovered no claims or settlements relating to allegations of inappropriate conduct by Matt Lauer that pre-date his firing. Only following his termination did we reach agreements with two women who had come forward for the very first time and those women have always been free to share their stories about Lauer with anyone they choose. Audrey Roloff is a happily married woman who clearly thinks she navigated her dating life in the most ideal way possible, hence this happy marriage. And this is wonderful for the former Little People, Big World star. More props to her, right? The thing is, what’s best for one person isn’t necessarily best for another person. And what’s best for this other person may not be best for some other person, you know? We say all of this because Audrey just shared the very sweet above photo of herself and husband Jeremy, writing along with it some advice to various women around the world. Some questionable advice, many folks out there believe. “SINGLE LADIES: To all my girls out there that are “hanging out” with a guy that you’re just not sure about… “You can’t help who you fall in love with, but you CAN help who you spend time with,” the expecting mother of one wrote to open her polarizing caption. Continued Audrey, in confusing fashion: Be careful spending too much time with someone you don’t see yourself marrying because you just might fall in love with them…. And falling in love with someone you don’t see yourself marrying only ends in hurt. Guard your heart so that you can give it undividedly to your future husband. You would want him to do the same for you. Just… weird, right? For starters: What, exactly, is the difference between falling in love with someone and finding someone you want to marry? In what sort of situation would a man or woman fall in love with someone, and yet also know for certain he or she would not want to marry this person? Secondly, what’s the matter with simply dating for the sake of dating? For the sake of having fun? For the sake of learning something about yourself? Or of discovering what you want out of a long-term partner? We aren’t the only ones who reacted to Audrey’s message with these questions and issues. The following comment sums it up well: OR how about single women enjoy the single life without making marriage the end goal? Fall in love multiple times, learn, grow, find out what you don’t like and what you do, have fun, experience new things, have a LIFE that does not revolve around marriage and kids. I feel bad for women like you who don’t seem to have any other identity besides a wife and a mother. Don’t put that onto other women just because it’s what you wanted. Audrey likely does mean well by offering up this advice. As others have noted in the past, however, she’s only been married for five years . Is she really in a position to be giving such broad advice to all “single ladies,” as Audrey herself writes in this controversial caption? Should she really be telling anyone how to lock in a godly husband ? Jeremy and Audrey are parents to an adorable two-year old named Ember. They are expecting a son in early January and, like we previously said, they appear to be very content with each other — which is fanastic! We aren’t judging their relationship at all, merely whether Audrey should be dishing out advice to others based purely on her own belief system. “I love growing with you, working with you, playing with you, learning with you, dreaming with you, adventuring with you, and I love loving you,” Audrey wrote to her husband a month ago, adding: “I’m so honored to live this life alongside you. I’m inspired by who you are and who you are becoming and so grateful that you’re my best friend.” View Slideshow: Audrey Roloff Shares Gender Reveal Pics: It’s a Boy!

Last week, we reported on the sad news of yet another tragic loss within the Duggar family. On October 2, Rebecca Waller was killed instantly when she ran a red light and was struck by two cars near her home in rural Minnesota. She was just 22 years old. Rebecca was the sister of David Waller, who is married to Anna’s sister, Priscilla. Though there were several degrees of separation and a distance of many miles between them, Anna and Rebecca reportedly enjoyed a close bond, As David wrote in his loving tribute to his departed sister , Anna’s family is an exceptionally close-knit clan. And it seems the loss of such a young life in such a senseless accident created a shockwave of grief that resonated throughout the Waller and Duggar families. This week, Anna became the latest member of her extended family to honor Rebecca’s memory on social media. She posted the above photo of her beloved relative along with a heartfelt caption: “Life is a precious gift and sometimes it seems MUCH too short,” Anna wrote. “We were heartbroken when Rebecca Waller (my brother-in-law, David Waller’s youngest sister) passed away suddenly in a tragic car accident this week.” “The memories our family made with Becca over the years will be cherished forever!” Anna continued. “She lived her 22 years of life (though so short) to the fullest. “Rebecca loved God and served others diligently, she was energetic, gave the best hugs, and was a blessing to everyone who knew her!” she concluded. The loss could not have come at a more difficult time for Anna. Currently pregnant with her sixth child , Anna has been forced to cope with two unexpected deaths in the span of just four months. Back in June, Jim Bob’s mother, Mary Duggar, passed away in a freak drowning accident. While she was also was not an immediate family member, Anna had formed a close bond with Mary in the years since she married into the Duggar clan. Needless to say, Anna’s current pregnancy has not been an easy one from an emotional standpoint. Though these recent losses may have led her to an even deeper appreciation for the time she’s able to spend with her loved ones. Our thoughts go out to all of Rebecca’s friends and family at this difficult time. View Slideshow: Anna Duggar, Fundie Fashion Queen: See How Her Look Has Evolved!

Designed by famous designer Stella McCartney , the brand’s first Post-Mastectomy Sports Bra has been created to empower breast cancer survivors to introduce sport and fitness back into their lives, Adidas wrote in a press release . “With the Post-Mastectomy Sports Bra, I really wanted to encourage women to take care of their health through wellness and self-care. This bra allows us to support recovering patients through the next phase of their journey, and hopefully give them the confidence to get back into training. It has a cool and modern look that will help motivate the wearer, as well as assuring them, they are not [the] odd one out in the gym,” explained McCartney, whose mother died of the disease in 1998. Source: Adidas / adidas The model used in the campaign is Black British boxer and breast cancer survivor, Michele Aboro . “After my surgery, I felt lost. As a professional athlete, I was used to relying on my body but after my mastectomy, I started to lose belief in myself and how my body would react. When I was ready to get back into fitness, I couldn’t find a sports bra that didn’t require being pulled over my head or lacked in support. Now I wear the Post-Mastectomy Sports Bra every time I train – it is comfortable and supportive and has helped me build back my confidence to get back into the game,” the mother and mentor explained. The bra, which costs $69, has a front-closure zipper, inner pockets with removable pads, and adjustable straps. In addition, the seams were all placed specifically around the arms to “reduce discomfort and irritation to areas of the skin prone to sensitivity due to surgical scarring.” It comes in two colors: Pink and black.
