Is there civil unrest amidst The Civil Wars? The popular folk duo of Joy Williams and John Paul White shocked fans last night, releasing a statement announcing that due to “internal discord and irreconcilable differences of ambition” they were unable to “continue as a touring entity at this time. The Civil Wars in Concert So, is this it for the two-person group, which rose to fame in 2011 with the album “Barton Hollow?” “Our sincere hope is to have new music for you in 2013,” they added in the statement, providing followers with a ray of hope.
Harry Styles covers the latest issue of OK! in Great Britain, opening up to the tabloid about something rather personal: His first time having sexual intercourse. How did it go? “I was scared I got the girl pregnant,” Styles tells the magazine. “And that was despite the fact we were safe. Luckily, we were fine.” In light of the incident, and just based on common sense, Harry also used this platform to send his fans a message. A very important one: “I would never risk not wearing a condom, it’s too much of a risk. If you’re not ready for a child, then don’t risk it.” Take notes, kids. According to the Sun out of the U.K., the floppy-haired boy bander is crushing on three ladies even older than 22-year-old Swift: The 18-year-old shared that, if given the chance, he would date Angelina Jolie (36), Kate Moss (38) or Kate Winslet (36). Any of those three wouldn’t be his first older woman: He previously dated 32-year-old TV presenter Caroline Flack. For any girl out there who is not one of those three superstars and is looking for a way to catch the singer’s attention, Styles candidly revealed what he likes his ladies to wear. “I like my girlfriends to wear black lingerie … definitely,” he shared. But, the romance talk didn’t end there. He noted that if he sees a lady he thinks is pretty, well, he doesn’t exactly have any smooth lines he likes to use on her. “I’m not really a pick-up-line guy. I don’t know what I do,” he confessed. Harry has been linked to quite a few ladies since 1D dropped their debut album, Up All Night, last month — none of which have been Winslet, Jolie or Moss.
