You may remember him as the fiancée of the multihyphenate cast member, Yandy Smith. Smith, a talent manager, was actually one of the creators of Love and Hip-Hop New York, in conjunction with her former boss, Mona Scott-Young. As speculations swirled this season about the marital and paternity status of many cast members, viewers were perhaps most intrigued by one cast member whose voice was omnipresent but who went sight unseen during the entire season. Where was Mendeecees Harris? Why was he in prison? And when would he be released? In January 2013 Mendeecees Harris was arrested and charged with narcotics conspiracy and money laundering. Specifically, Mr. Harris was charged with knowingly, willfully and unlawfully combining and conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute 5 kilograms or more of cocaine (Schedule I Substance) and 1 kilogram of heroin (Schedule II Substance). Such narcotics charges are punishable by a sentence of 10 years to life in prison, plus fines. While the laundering charges carry a maximum sentence of 20 years, plus fines. The troubled Mueller filed the request for a temporary restraining order against the equally mercurial Sheen following his epic anti-Brooke tirade last week. Charlie Sheen Denied Access to Kids With Brooke Mueller According to Charlie, Brooke is an evil whore who’s putting their twins’ lives in danger, and pretty much the worst parent and human being to ever live. Sheen said he would seek custody of sons Bob and Max, but according Mueller, took this way too far. In her petition, Brooke quotes Charlie saying: “[T]here will be a reckoning. There will be a whirlwind. That they will all reap while desperate begging for my forgiveness. You’ve all been warned.” “I will exercise every resource at my disposal. I will, I will, I will, I will empty my entire war chest and if I cannot get it done, I know a guy who can.” Mueller wanted a restraining order based on that perceived threat, but apparently a judge felt it was just Charlie being Charlie and that she isn’t in danger. Still, she insists she’s staying sober, while Charlie is on a mission to sabotage her, though. Brooke says she’s even scared Charlie will plant drugs on her. The group made that official yesterday and then appeared as a united front today on Good Morning America , with each sibling explaining his side and all agreeing it was simply time to move on. But, no, Joe Jonas insists: the band did not break up because of his substance abuse problem. “It’s ridiculous!” Joe tells People of talk that he’s hooked on hardcore drugs, adding sarcastically: “We’re not saying anything for two or three weeks and I’m a drug addict!” Talk of Joe making like Lamar Odom surfaced earlier this month after he was photographed in Los Angeles with a sober coach. Moreover, and most irritating, girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler was also dragged into the chatter. “It’s obviously not true. I’ve never touched heroin in my life. Neither has my girlfriend,” Jonas says. “It’s hilarious to me, but also frustrating as well. Why can’t Oscar get right? Oscar De La Hoya Heads Back To Rehab For Second Time There has to be a support group for two-time losers like Oscar. Life has given him everything, but he’d rather dress in women’s clothes and keep relapsing. According to US Weekly Oscar De La Hoya is seeking help once again for a substance abuse problem. The retired boxer, 40, announced on Tuesday, Sept. 10, that he had returned to rehab and would miss this weekend’s big fight between Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez, which he had been promoting through his company, Golden Boy Promotions. “Canelo Alvarez and I have big fights coming up this weekend. His is in the ring and mine in treatment,” De La Hoya said in a statement. “I will not be at the fight to cheer Canelo to victory since I have voluntarily admitted myself to a treatment facility.” He continued: “I explained this to Canelo, and he understood that my health and long-term recovery from my disease must come first. Thank you for your understanding. I ask for your support during this difficult time and for me and my family.” The former 10-time world title winner — nicknamed The Golden Boy — did not specify the nature of his substance abuse but has admitted in the past to being an alcoholic and using yayo. In a 2012 interview with Dr. Drew Pinsky, he confessed that he had started drinking when he was just 8 years old. “I’ve been in there with the best fighters on the planet,” he told Dr. Drew. “I’ve been able to capture a gold medal and world title and this and that, but this is the toughest fight of my life, you know?” Hopefully he gets his life together.
Damn DMX, time to get right homie. DMX Passes Out In Cop Car When Iyanla can’t save your azz, you know you’re in trouble. DMX saw the cop car and was probably like “okay ya’ll got me…let me go ahead and pass out.” SMH. According to TMZ DMX was either wasted, exhausted, or both following his DUI arrest Friday morning … because he passed the hell out once he got inside the squad car — and TMZ has obtained dash cam footage of the entire bust. TMZ broke the story … the rapper was popped in South Carolina around 3AM Friday after police determined he had been driving under the influence. It wasn’t immediately clear whether X was busted for alcohol or some other substance — but based on the dash cam footage, it appears to have been for alcohol … and not just because X was a little sleepy. In the footage, the cop asks X if he’s been boozing, and X says he had one drink — but later it sounds like he admits to drinking “4 or 5″ (the audio is pretty bad). Despite the drinks, X insists he’s not too drunk to drive. The cop doesn’t buy it. X was booked for DUI and hauled to a nearby station. He was released from custody roughly an hour later.
