Suicide is never the way to go. Dick Trickle Commits Suicide According to The National Enquirer NASCAR driver DICK TRICKLE has killed himself with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department in North Carolina confirmed the news on Thursday after Trickle called the Lincoln County Communications Center and said that “there would be a dead body and it would be his,” WSOC-TV reported. Trickle reportedly took his life at 12:02 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Cemetery and his body was found by workers near his pickup truck after calls back to him went unanswered, RadarOnline noted. The Wisconsin native raced for 24 years, logging logged more than one million laps in more than 2,200 races and is believed to have won over 1,200 feature races. He was billed as the win-ingest short track driver in history. Trickle’s career highlights include racing to 67 wins in 1972, winning seven ARTGO Championships in nine years between 1979 to 1987 and was 1989 NASCAR Rookie of the Year. Trickle was nicknamed the “White Knight” as referenced by his sponsored SuperAmerica paint scheme, when he raced in Wisconsin. “I just read about Dick Trickle, met him during my season doing IROC series. He was a true Racer and will be missed. #RIP,” Triple Crown Champion JJ Yeley tweeted. NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Brian Scott tweeted, “RIP Dick Trickle. Another woman with her chimed in, apparently asking the partner: “Why you with that f—–?” An argument erupted, and the two women, joined by three others plus a man, attacked Frankelly, police said. His partner tried to intervene, but the victim was repeatedly punched. Says Frankelly and his boyfriend: “Everyone was watching — no one helped us. That was a very scary situation for us,” the partner said. “Right now we’d just prefer to be alone.” Uhhh, ya think?
