2016 MTV VMA Nominations The 2016 VMA nominations were announced live this afternoon, unveiling the nods with mural art in NYC. To absolutely no one’s surprise, Beyonce’s Lemonade swept nearly every category — sometimes more than one visual from the project per category. So it’s time to get those thumbs working to make sure your faves take moonmen home in their respective categories… Via MTV : Stretch your voting fingers, because your 2016 MTV Video Music Award nominations are here. Leading this year’s nominees is none other than Beyoncé, who’s up for 11 (!) awards, including Video of the Year for “Formation” and the newest VMA category, Breakthrough Long Form Video, for her groundbreaking HBO special Lemonade. That’s the most nominations she’s ever gotten in a single year. Adele comes in second with a total of eight nominations, seven of which are for her iconic “Hello” visual, including Video of the Year. Drake’s “Hotline Bling,” Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” and Kanye West’s “Famous” are also up for Video of the Year. The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Madison Square Garden on Sunday, August 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. But one very notable name was completely SHUT OUT from the ceremony this year. Looks like MTV RSVP’s to the #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty as well, because they paid America’s Petty Princess absolute dust in all of this year’s categories this year. So it doesn’t appear that Kanye will have a reason to storm the stage this time around… Oh well. Things are going from very, very bad to even worse for Taylor Swift. At this point, we all know about the personal drama between Swift and Kim Kardashian . The latter has been taking shot after shot at the singer, painting her as a manipulative liar and trying to ruin Swift’s reputation. There was the videotaped phone call between Kanye West and Swift that Kim released , proving that Taylor gave the rapper permission to diss her in the song “Famous.” And then there was Kim releasing footage of herself slamming Swift via that same track just a few days ago. And we haven’t even yet mentioned the fact that so many critics think Swift is faking her romance with Tom Hiddleston for public relations purposes. In other words: Taylor really could use a professional win these days. But she just suffered another loss. MTV came out with its nominations for the 2016 Video Music Awards this year and we can already announce that Swift will not take home a single trophy. How can we be so certain? BECAUSE SHE DIDN’T RECEIVE A SINGLE NOMINATION! No big deal, you might say? No conspiracy at work here, you may argue? That could be correct, but consider the following: Swift led all artists with 10 nominations in 2015. She took home the trophy for Best Video. She has debuted three videos off the album “1989” over the past year. The first, for “Wildest Dreams,” actually premiered during the pre-show of the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. Has it been the most prolific 12 months of Swift’s career? No. But to go from her 2015 haul to zero nominations in 2016? It makes one wonder whether Kanye has somehow influenced MTV producers. Remember, of course, that Kanye interrupted Swift way back in 2009 when she defeated Beyonce that year for the Best Video crown. Might he still hold a grudge against her? Her friends may be a bunch of hot messes, but not Tamra Judge. Judge has her sh-t together, and we’re not just referring to her being the only sober, coherent one in last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County . The 48-year-old reality star is co-owner of Cut Fitness with her husband, Eddie and in May she won her very first fitness competition. “I truly believe that working out, eating well, taking your supplements, is really the key to staying young ,” Judge told Entertainment Tonight . “I’m 48 years old. I started to see just a layer of fat developing around my midsection and I was like, ‘Oh hell, no. This is not happening.’ Judge works out with trainer Mia Finnegan, who’s often seen giving her client advice on the show. “I get up at 4:30, 5:00 in the morning,” Judge told ET , “eat a little bit, then I go work out with Mia, and we work out for about two hours, then I do an hour of cardio … [I do it] five, six days a week.” This, she believes, is what’s helping her power through menopause. “[Mia] fine-tuned my diet, got me lifting heavy, and put me on supplements,” Judge explained. Vicki Gunvalson: I’m The Victim! Tamra Judge Is The Meanie! “My whole body composition has changed. I wish I could teach everyone going through menopause. Trust me, you don’t have to accept it, you can reverse it.” Judge encourages women of all ages to take care of their bodies. “It doesn’t matter what age you are, you can do it,” she said. “I would say 80 percent of it is your diet, and for women, lifting heavy weights [is key]. “Everyone thinks, ‘I’m gonna get bulky, I’m gonna get this…’ No. When you build muscle, and you eat that extra protein, your body is burning that fat all day long. “So girls, eat your protein all day long, and lift heavy weights!” And don’t audition for reality tv show.

Was The South Carolina Murder Of A 9-Year-Old And Her Grandmother Racially Motivated The same state that brought us Dylann Roof is also home to allegedly murderous married couple Cephas and Kathrine Cowick, who have been arrested for the double homicide of a 9-year-old black girl and her 52 year old grandmother. According to WBTW reports : Cephas Cowick, 23, and Kathrine Baucom Cowick, 25, have been charged with murder and are in police custody. Sheriff Byrd confirmed that the two suspects were husband and wife. Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee found two people dead after responding to a call Sunday morning. Sheriff Wayne Byrd says the call came in around 11:54 Sunday morning for two dead people at a home off Highway 151 near the Darlington Dragway. One of the victims is a nine-year-old and the other is the child’s grandmother. Hardee identified the victims Monday morning as Deziyah Davis, 9, and her grandmother Denise Couplin, 52 of Darlington. Coroner Hardee has ruled the incident a double homicide. This is so sad. We haven’t seen anything mentioned about this incident being racially motivated but we can’t help but to wonder if it was. There have been several updates to this story since the Cowick’s arrest. Third degree arson, criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, first degree burglary, grand larceny less than $10,000 and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. It turns out they allegedly robbed Couplin’s home during the incident. Both suspects are being held at the Darlington County Detention Center without bond. Their court date has been set for Sept. 28. There were two other children home at the time of the murders who managed to escape to a neighbor’s home. Those kids have been taking into custody of the Department of Social Services while family members work to regain custody. A joint funeral was held for Davis and Couplin on Sunday July, 24 at 12:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Hartsville, according to family members. Facebook/Darlington County Detention Center

Michael Lohan is standing up for his daughter. The way only Michael Lohan can. Over the weekend, Lohan engaged in a very public feud and fight with fiance Egor Tarabasov. It started with a stream of angry social media messages in which the often-troubled actress alleged that Tarabasov was cheating on her, implying at the time that she was pregnant . “I guess I was the same at 23…” Lohan wrote of her younger man at one point, adding: “Sh-tty time-it changes at 26/27 @e2505t thanks for not coming home tonight. Fame changes people.” She also Tweeted: “Wow thanks #fiance with Russian hooker @dasha_pa5h.” Things quickly escalated beyond a number of accusatory Tweets, however. On Saturday morning, neighbors of Lohan and Tarabasov were reportedly woken up by Lohan yelling from her balcony that Tarabasov was strangling her and attempting to murder her . The Sun even obtained a video that features a fiery exchange between Lohan and Tarabasov. It was filmed by a witness on the scene and it depicted Lohan on her balcony, screaming to anyone within earshot. “He tried to kill me,” Lohan says in the footage, which also featured Tarabasov trying to reason with his girlfriend and her responding as follows: “Do it. I dare you again. You’re f-cking crazy. You sick f-ck. You need help. It’s my house get out of my house.” Tough times for the couple, clearly. A police spokeswoman later confirmed that authorities were called to the residence after hearing reports of “a woman in distress.” No arrests were made, however. Fast forward to this week, meanwhile, and TMZ has shared text messages sent by Michael Lohan to Egor Tarabasov . They were supposedly written on Saturday night, hours after the aforementioned incident, and they included Lindsay’s father issuing many threats to her fiance. “You threaten my daughter, touch her or if anything happens to her and you will have no where to hide mother ducked like weasel,” Michael writes at one point. It seems pretty clear that Lindsay told her dad about what happened, prompting this barrage of texts. Michael added such scathing, typo-filled words as: VOME Here And Face ME like a man and bring your daddy and mommy. Return her jewelry you broke phoney or I’ll take it out of your ass. I WILL find you. While the relationship between Michael Lohan and Lindsay Lohan has been very strained at times, father and daughter have been on solid terms for awhile now. In early July, Michael Tweeted at his famous child, writing: “You couldn’t possibly love you more than I love YOU!!! You look FANTASTIC.” He also wished a “Happy and BLESSED 30th Birthday to my remarkable daughter” on July 2. On Monday morning, Lindsay flew back to the United States from London… without Tarabasov. She then asked for the public to butt out of her personal affairs , despite Lohan being the one who made these personal affairs very public on social media. “I would appreciate if these speculations regarding my personal life would respectfully come to a halt,” Lohan wrote on Instagram, adding: “Unfortunately, a private matter has become more public than I can control and I would be extremely grateful if my fiancé and myself could discuss our personal matters on our own. “There are more important things going on in the world than our relationship.
